If there are people out there who have information to contribute, they can do so. Keep in mind that our association with Ferrie, Earnshaw &c. was not done in some social context; there is no incidental evidence that can somehow link us as there would be in such a case. There were no people who were accidentally there, not in the offices, the homes, or the airports we flew out of...only the perpetrators and their victims. Clearly, only the latter category will be willing to talk, but at what consequence? It was twelve years after I wrote Conjurella (I wrote it as a proposed introduction in 1996, while working with her agent, not when the book CASTLE MIRAGE was originally published) that someone pointed out that Earnshaw was a real person. During that time, my statements have been "discredited", I've been hit by a car, crippled, refused medical treatment and legal respresentation, and thown homeless into the street. Should any of the other victims who come forth expect the same response? There was a very well choreographed attempt on my life yesterday. Two men in a truck squealed to a stop an inch from me, after several other vehicles had staged a little auto-ballet to keep my attention. Crooked FBI agents, mob thugs and 'postponed indefinitely' on material from Gil Wray's secretary. Plus a clear change in direction by Wray. Your own knowledge of MKULTRA techniques. Other children who have come forth and claimed to have been trained, under the auspices of the agency, as programmed assassins. Quite a few. But this is about where it ends...even if we could produce the document which demonstrates a possible Bircher connection between your parents and Ferrie - it's not enough. You're asking for a leap of faith. Tell us about Clay Shaw. Tell us about Rockwell. Tell me where we can possibly find something the demonstrates that what you have indicated is on the level. Describe Ferrie's place. Provide more details. At present: There are no witnesses that mention having seen you. There are no photos which would help substantiate your account. Lee -- Given the degree of support that the other alleged MK-ULTRA victims have shown for me, frankly, I'd support an amendment to the Patriot Act that would let the government just gather them up and gas them. About 50% of them are CIA agents, I'd speculate -- CIA likes to infiltrate groups like that on a one-to-one basis -- of the other 50%, probably half are telling the truth, and the other half are crazy. So the CIA would lose a few men if they did that, but they don't mind taking out their own men by a long shot; they'd probably support the idea if it ever came up. I'm much more concerned about the posts I've just found by this Australian JFK guy, Greg Parker, linking the Fair Play for Cuba Committee to comic books, even linking Lee Oswald to the Senate hearings on comic books. My own works in that regard were entered by U.S. Senator Carl Levin (D-MI) into the Congressional Record. Look in your local university library for CONGRESSIONAL RECORD - SENATE Vol. 128, no. 131, Sept. 28, 1982, page S12435 -- has my articles on that subject. My work was also discussed in the U.N. World Health Organization magazine WORLD HEALTH, published in Geneva in every imaginable language, October 1983 and January-February 1986 issues (yes, both issues name "T. Casey Brennan). So if any JFK researchers want to contact Senator Levin, use my name, and maybe we can get a "Gas the MK-ULTRA Victims Act" passed. Tell him I'm 100% for it. Casey Brennan http://tcasey.inri.net LYLE STUART In 1954, Stuart was the business partner of EC Comics king, William Gaines. Gaines testified that year before the Senate Subcommittee on Juvenile Delinquency in New York City during it's hearings into the effects of comics on youth. Many websites dedicated to the history of comics maintain that the sole aim of the subcommittee was to rid the industry of its market leader. In other words, it was doing what politicians are often best at doing: providing favours to big business - in this case - Gaines' competitors. Those hearings were held shortly after Lee Harvey Oswald had spent time in Youth House for delinquency. EC comics did get chopped as a result of the hearings - in no small measure because he appeared before those gentlemen full of "speed" and a speech, both provided by the person who had talked him into this suicide mission - Lyle Stuart. By the early sixties, Stuart was one of the leaders of the newly formed, Fair Play for Cuba Committee, and though his official ties to it may have been severed by 1963, he was still, nontheless, publishing literature used by the FPCC such as Corliss Lamont's, The Crime Against Cuba - a booklet Oswald handed out, and on which the address "544 Camp St" had been stamped. The FPCC fell apart in the US after the assassination. It seems Stuart had a knack for proximity to downfalls. In fact, literary hatchet jobs were his specialty in the '40s (he has been called the Kitty Kelley of that decade), and all that may have changed after the '40s was the method...

My reputation as a quality 1970s comic book writer seems to be soaring...my work has been reprinted in two more Harris Comics trade paperbacks...VAMPIRELLA: CRIMSON CHRONICLES, Vol. II and VAMPIRELLA: CRIMSON CHRONICLES, Vol. III and the recently released FOLLOWING CEREBUS #6. Vampirella is well known, I believe, because of the 1996 made-for-tv Showtime movie starring Talisa Soto and Roger Daltrey. Cerebus is an internationally-acclaimed intellectual comic book in the Jules Feiffer tradition...I never wrote the series, but since I did work with Cerebus creator Dave Sim in my 1970s comic book days, the editors of FOLLOWING CEREBUS felt that they should do a full-scale biography on me, complete with photos and pages from my comics dating back 35 years. Anyway, to reiterate on my JFK statements: in the 1950s, my late parents became associated with JFK figure David Ferrie and a fellow hypnotist, J.H. Easrnshaw, D.O. They were both associated with MK-ULTRA, and were interested in using MK-ULTRA hypnosis/drug conditioning to create child assassins. Under drugs and hypnosis, I was programmed in a variety of ways, including shooting at films of JFK on a kind of shooting gallery game. My parents were as controlled and compromised by these men as I was -- it wasn't necessary to pay us, convince us, or anything along those lines. However, one of the scenarios we were given was this: the US was to invade Cuba...Lee Oswald was to establish a reputation as a pro-Castro peace activist, then travel to Cuba to meet Castro once the war got underway. Then we'd shoot him. What actually happened is this: Ferrie got me up into the TSBDB in a crate, wearing his airline cap. They dumped me out, draped me over the rifle, and made me fire one shot. I no longer believe that shot connected...I couldn't have hit anything in that condition if I'd WANTED to, which I didn't. I fired once, dove for the floor, and tried to push the rifle out the window, by hitting the rifle butt with my palm as I fell. It was braced to the window sill, so it stayed put. Ferrie jumped on the rifle and continued firing. Throughout my adult life, I have been perplexed by the fact that I COULD NOT REMEMBER much of my visits with Dr. Earnshaw. When I DID remember, I wrote it up the best I could, knowing that it would never be accepted as evidence, and knowing that the only way I could keep my account alive was to write it in the same style as my 1970s comic book stories...the first story was called "Castle Mirage - the prelude: Conjurella"....I DELIBERATELY made the pseudonym for the lead character rhyme with the best known of my 1970s comic book series, VAMPIRELLA. "Conjurella" was a name I ascribed to my late aunt, Bonnie Goodrich. I could not have foreseen that my greatest enemies in keeping my account alive would be the JFK researchers themselves. They have attacked without quarter; all while my family has been tortured and killed, my career destroyed, and now I have been hit by a car, am injured without an attorney or income, and I am homeless. To hell with the JFK assassination -- as absolutely everyone has told me, I was wrong, wrong, wrong to talk. The only positive upshot of this is that a barrage of JFK and conspiracy enthusiasts have been buying up the reprints of my old comics, generating a renewed interest in my comic book work. The three reprint issues noted earlier in this post will surely be followed by more; another Harris trade paperback featuring my stories, VAMPIRELLA: TRANSCENDING TIME & SPACE has already sold out. As this grows, I will be able to re-enter the comic book industry and the JFK researchers can continue their usual activity of intimidating witnesses without me. I will not recent, but I will relent.
