  1. The murder of President Kennedy's son completed the annihilation of the Kennedy clan - and hopeful dynasty. In its place , we got the Bush Dynasty.
  2. Great find, Robert. I recently passed around another copy of Last Word to a sibling and friend. The friend, is a retired public school teacher. ( and currently a working Adjunct Instructor at a Community College ) Her first comment when we discussed the assassination was " who did in then, the Russians? " Now, she understands what really happened. In her late 60's , she went from believing the myth to feeling sickened by the actions of the Secret Service of 1963. I guess all that it takes is an open mind and unbiased research on the Coup to be willing to accept an ugly truth. I have talked to several educators on the matter, and often was not the one taking the lead in the discussion!
  3. Poor Johnson - a commenter says " no matter which way Johnson went , he would be crucified." And then there is the Morley Schaefer comment. Gag me with a spoon.
  4. This just in ... Johnson used the so called " Golf of Tonkin " incident to escalate the Vietnam War, according to CNN tonight. CNN is so insightful and informative.!
  5. Senator defends IRS commissioner but defames Oliver Stone. The movie "JFK" has more truth in it on a bad day than does the official version. It was a movie, not a government document - which we all expect to be 100% accurate. A Hollywood movie, on the other hand, will have continuity issues, despite being factually based.
  6. That's right Don. These fine people you speak of are like , public school teachers, that is very underappreciated people.
  7. When all is said and done, the assassination of John F Kennedy could not have happened had not the United States Secret Service of 1963 (Thank you for your service otherwise) enabled the coup d'état. United States Secret Service bodyguards, do not, as in the case of a certain coward , Roy Kellerman, look back at the VERY PERSON who he has a job, and just look a him! The other coward, the Coward William Greer, was not day help, he was not a limousine driver, he was a United States Secret Service Agent who also, had a job because of John Kennedy - a human being with a wife next to him and two young children. Unfortunately Kennedy was a Catholic, not a Methodist. ( LOL) Lane is very clear about the Secret Service's inaction in the killing.
  8. I would be willing to contribute a hundred and fifty dollars a year. That would mean just 15 contributors. So why cant be get 100 people at a measly 15 dollars a year?
  9. Since this thread was started by Vince, I think it is fitting to continue my posting on Mark Lane's Secret Service chapters in his book, LAST WORD. "Bolden was indicted for attempting to sell information to a suspect. My own ( Mark Lane's ) research into the matter, including interviews with Bolden while his appeal was pending, constrained me to believe that he was framed and that no crime was ever anticipated or committed. An examination of the court records, the criminal records of the accusers, the almost unprecedented actions of the judge and the appellate court ( what's new? This after all is the Kennedy case where nothing is surprising ) and the character of the judge ( again, the accusers have no (good) character in the case of Bolden or Oswald )and prosecutor, convinces me ( Attorney Mark Lane ) beyond any doubt that Bolden was denied a fair trial."
  10. John, I think it is significant that there have not been any historians willing to write a book supporting the conclusions of the Warren Commission. These would have to be peer reviewed and would also force the writer to be honest with him or herself.
  11. This forum does serve and excellent purpose of being traceable as you state , Duncan. I would like to take this time for thanking you, Mr. Simkin for providing a venue where actual research on the Kennedy assassination can be posted. I had hoped other parts of the Education Forum would been utilized as well. There were times when I posted on the Music and History sections and had hoped this forum would be around for years to come. I am willing to put my money where my mouth is, and repeat my pledge of financial support.
  12. Unlike some other national leaders who ignored their Secret Service agents who were always present, Kennedy made sure that they were comfortable, and he engaged them in conversations about matters unrelated to their wok assignments. When the president passed by, he often stopped to chat with Bolden, asking about his family and sending his regards to them. This seemed to outrage Agent Harvey Henderson, Bolden's immediate supervisor. Bolden vividly recalled the scene when Henderson was seated on a couch drinking beer and staring at him in a room with other agents. Henderson said, "Bolden." Abe acknowledged the greeting, " Yeah, Harvey." Then staring at Bolden and speaking slowly to emphasize each word, Henderson said," I'm going to tell you something and I don't want you to ever forget it. You're a n. You were born a n, and when you die you'll still be a n. You will always be nothing but a n. So act like one!" The other agents present were silent.
  13. I would be willing to contribute to keeping the forum open.
  14. From Mark Lane's book - Last Word, Book Three The Secret Service Abraham Bolden He was called the Jackie Robinson of the United States Secret Service. Since I knew Jackie, I knew that it was not a simple accolade and that it encompassed an onslaught of racism and unearned suffering. It has been aid that such pain is redemptive. That may be so, but not necessarily in this world. Abraham Bolden was the first African American to be assigned to the White House detail to protect the president as a member of the United States Secret Service. John Kennedy had personally invited him. Many of his new colleagues were former hard - drinking police officers, born and raised in Southern states, who referred to President Kennedy as a "n lover' who was "screwing up the country" with his civil rights initiatives. Some Secret Service agents assigned to the White House detail said that if shots were fired at the president, they would take no action to protect him. A few of the Agents said that they would resign from the Secret Service rather than give up their lives to shield him Abe Bolden heard those and similar assertions many times.
  15. I always thought Dulles was a snake in the grass but Kennedy was a little naïve for thinking he could " fire " him. This brings to mind the film , where, after being appointed to the Warren Commission, Dulles is filmed " at the scene of the crime" looking up at the window where Oswald didn't fired any shots, and mumbling something about how they are going to look into the matter.
  16. It was and thanks. Any comment about the issue of my last post?
  17. J. William Fulbright ( 1966 ) called "the arrogance of power" - the American mood " that ultimately led to war and tragedy in the jungles of Vietnam." ( 2007 Rosati and Scott ) According to Jerel A Rosati and James Scott; such a mood of American confidence and mission was best symbolized by President Kennedy's inaugural address on January 20, 1961 , when he declared: Let the word go forth....... So according to Fulbright; the assassinated President Kennedy caused the Vietnam War! Rosati and Scott go on to say " Clearly, Vietnam made clear that Americans were not willing to "pay any price" and "bear any burden."
  18. This statement is self serving in that those who are covering it up, and know fully well that Kennedy's own government killed him, use it to get people to say something like, "it is pretty complicated , I think there was a conspiracy , but I am really not sure." The fact is that it is easy to see from private research , and by the use of your own eyes - the inaction of the Secret Service that day, that it was an inside job. On another topic - a history professor stated recently in a classroom at a college that "Kennedy ordered the assassination of President Diem shortly before he himself was assassinated." The professor could not look anyone in the eye when he said it, and the Kennedy assassination itself has never been discussed in class. We were talking about ODNI , NIE's and William Casey, among other things.
  19. Well put Chris. My 16 year old grandson would have known to get the hell out there! Anyone, at this point, who does not see that protective services were directed not to do their job on 22 November, 1963 are either ( as was first written by another member on this forum ) cognitively impaired or complicit in the cover up. It is as simple as that and this is why there is little direct response to the Greer/Kellerman behavior. Now is the time to proceed without apology that there was indeed a conspiracy and it is a simple matter to figure out WHY. Who cares anymore as to the how. It happened. Get over it if you are in denial. Go away if you are part of the cover up.
  20. Greer's training sure kicked in at Parkland Hospital, where he allegedly hit someone with the butt of a gun and threatened to kill anyone who got in his way of removing Kennedy's body. Nonsense! These guys knew what they were doing! Don't let the year and the black and white photos allow you to think otherwise. Charles DeGaulle escaped numerous assassination attempts in the 1950's - one by his car speeding away; others by quick action of his armed bodyguards. Kennedy in fact died that day from assassins bullets-when are some people going to realize that these kinds of things ( and there are hundreds ) are not just coincidence? "In August 1962 DE Gaulle's CHAUFFEUR was able to accelerated out of the skid and drive to safety." Well let me tell you something; William GREER was a United States of America Secret Service Agent in 1963, a year after this De Gaulle attempt. NOT a chauffeur! Lets play just suppose. Just suppose Greer had no training and was a simple chauffeur. History shows even chauffeurs have enough sense to get out of there! Please do not insult , what is self evident or at least likely behavior as to what people would do in this situation by empathizing with them.
  21. "An investigation by the House Select Committee on Assassinations (HSCA) in 1979 concluded that "the Secret Service was deficient in the performance of its duties. The HSCA specifically noted: That President Kennedy had not received adequate protection in Dallas. That the Secret Service possessed information that was not properly analyzed, investigated, or used by the Secret Service in connection with the President's trip to Dallas. That the Secret Service agents in the motorcade were inadequately prepared to protect the President from a sniper. No actions were taken by the agent in the right front seat of the Presidential limousine Roy Kellerman to cover the President with his body, although it would have been consistent with Secret Service procedure for him to have done so. The primary function of the agent was to remain at all times in close proximity to the President in the event of such emergencies." As I am trying to hammer home - I do not care which government entity or any particular private researcher wrote. ( since he or she would be discredited by those covering this up ) Close proximity does not mean looking back at an injured POTUS. Close proximity meant leaping back to help the president as he was trained to do. What Kellerman and the rest of the Service did is NOT IN DISPUTE! In or opinion -Is it expected behavior or not? That is the question.
  22. What matters is what you think. Do you think that the Secret Service behavior, ( which is not in dispute ) was abnormal or normal behavior? The only reason these people had a JOB was because the POTUS needed PROTECTING! Did they do their JOB?
