If you’ll pardon the expression, this made my head explode 🤯. I’m absolutely hopping mad about this! 😡 🤬 The Dallas Morning News (who else?) commissioned architects to do a TOTAL RE-DESIGN of Dealey Plaza that will forever change this historic landmark — and not for the better! If this project goes forward as proposed, the Dealey Plaza we have known for nearly a century will be unrecognizable. Get ready for the NEW Dealey Plaza! Bad crowd, you know… making the Plaza unsafe for tourists who wish to get the official sanitized version of what happened at the 6th Floor Museum. More destruction of evidence; of memory; of history; of truth.

Some kind soul just uploaded 4.5 hours of CNN’s live coverage of the JFK 50 remembrance in Dallas — and around the world. A nice find!

When I lived in Austin back in the 80’s & 90’s there was an excellent cable access TV show called “Alternative Views.” The hosts were very interested in the JFK Assassination and frequently had some big name guests on to discuss the case. On the 25th anniversary in 1988, they had J. Gary Shaw on for a 2 hour interview. Unfortunately if you didn’t live in Austin back then, you probably never got to see this. Thanks to a YouTube channel called The Memory Hole, this rare program has been digitally restored and premiered tonight. This was just uploaded to YouTube today, perhaps for the first time. (I’ve been looking for the HSCA hearings in their entirety online for a while, so this is a real treat to see at last, digitally cleaned up from the old analog tape source.) It’s a 50 minute excerpt from the hearings about the famous DPD motorcycle cop Dictabelt recording which caused the Committee to reverse its initial conclusion that Oswald acted alone. The Memory Hole is a really great resource for lots of vintage news and goodies you won’t find anywhere else. If you browse their YouTube channel, there are even more HSCA videos recently uploaded, and more to come this month.

(Perhaps the answer(s) to my questions are already within this vast collection of information already) ------- As it has been 8 years or so, since I even thought about this case, a lot of questions -- I guess -- have been answered, and many of course never will be. I looked into this years ago and concluded that, if the story is true, he must have been on the Stemmons Freeway overpass, which is west of the triple underpass. There was a longer quote from him, or a different news story mentioned him. My memory is that he said his view was down into the car. In other words, he was above. Well, the only place that could happen was the Stemmons overpass. After a very short googlesearch, I chose Flickr of all sites, to get some photos online. If of any interest to anyone. * Everything is taken from a 12 year old harddisk,- so many, if not all of the photos are guaranteed to be available today elsewhere, in much better resolutions. ** Have tried to sort for a few hours,- but it in itself is still terrible. *** Included one album with photos I took with my phone , of a Norwegian magazine, - published December 7th. 1963, concerning the assassination. ( My grandmother scared my mother (8 years old) - stiff, - when getting the news of JFK's death,- screaming and running back and forth between the kitchen and the livingroom. My mother says she acted like a family member had died. An example of what an impact JFK made around the world, - even up here in northern Norway, - north of the polar circle. Can't believe it is more than 10 years ago I made my Youtube-channel. It has been neglected to say the least. The videos are more than 10! years old,- and it was a different time then. As far as I can remember,- I only made public footage, - which at that time I had yet to see on Youtube or anywhere online. Told Ken O' Donnel, JFK's secretary, to select the Trade Mart as the place for the luncheon. 2. Told DPD Assistant Chief George Lumpkin (Lead Car) to change the motorcade route to turn on Elm Street instead of going straight on Main Street through Dealey Plaza. 3. Asked his aide Betty Harris to tell Secret Service Agent Sorrels to have the bubble top removed from JFK's car at Love Field.

Hello everyone, Reading through Vince Palamara's "JFK - From Parkland To Bethesda" revealed a tiny bit of information that triggered my memories of three Dealey Plaza witness stories. A. J. Millican: "A man standing on the South side of Elm Street was either hit in the foot or the ankle and fell down." http://www.maryferrell.org/showDoc.html?docId=1136#relPageId=504 Mal Couch: “I started toward the building where I had seen the rifle in the window. Then I saw something very weird. There was a trail of blood from the spot where the shooting occurred to the entrance of the Texas School Book Depository. Nurse Bertha L. Lozano: "A technician came to the desk and asked me to expect a private patient who was bleeding... Blood technicians came to ask me who 'Mr. X' was who did not have an E. R. number. Hematology also came with the same problem and was told the same thing." We're all familiar with the initial (and assumed to be erroneous) news reports that indicated a Secret Service man was also shot and/or killed in Dealey Plaza during the assassination of John Kennedy. Might that report of a Secret Service man being shot and the Millican, Couch, Hill, and Lozano's statements be connected in some way?. Thanks

Is any of you out there intimately familiarized with the famous 3D model and animation (heralded by Peter Jennings on ABC News, 2003) for which Mr. Myers won an Emmy? If so: what type of Coca Cola machine was used in his replica ? After removing my tongue from my cheek, I have many serious questions. We could really use the help of any kind soul who lives or is currently in Dallas. We are having a hard time locating the specific model. It was definitely made by Westinghouse, and its novelty was a drink selector called "Dial-o-Matic". We believe in specialization. - In today's Dealey Plaza there is at least one hydrant, it is yellow and located in the NW corner of Houston & Elm. How about 1963? - We badly need close up photos of the lamp posts. How many "channels" (how are those features called in English?) [Ed: "grooves"] are there around? - Any 1963 image of a non-presidential car? We have one from the 1964 FBI reenactment. - There are 2 kinds of mailboxes: ( a ) Street Collection Mailbox and ( b ) Relay Mailbox. The latter have been green forever, how about the former? I contacted the USPS and the nice lady provided measurements for the smaller one. Another volunteer -David Oldroyd- is working on the mailboxes and lamp posts. Incidentally: we are planning to have a "time travel" switch in the web site so the 3D model will have 2 modes: - 1963: It will always be 12:30pm, we have the exact sun location and cloud coverage. The vehicles will be the president's SS-100-X, LBJ, press corps, etc. The Hertz sign and clock will be atop the building, - Real time model: the sun will move according to the date (day/night), the manholes have different letters, etc. I am going to repeat this again and again: EVERY single file that we are producing is being placed immediately in the public Repository. Those files belong to you. For example: yesterday, Mark Messer (the head designer) wrote a utility named "usgsbrowser" which queries the USGS website and determines the exact elevation of 1,000 spots in the Elm downhill street segment. Gayle Nix Jackson this week told me about a book I'd never seen or heard of before, namely, the 2002 book by an author who calls himself "Will Fritz", entitled, The Kennedy Mutiny. This book agrees sharply with my theory that Ex-General Edwin Walker completely coordinated the events that led up to the 11/22/1963 murder of JFK in Dallas. This book also disagrees sharply with my theory on three central points: "Will Fritz" claims that: (1) Edwin Walker and Lee Harvey Oswald were good friends, and Oswald followed Walker's orders. (2) Edwin Walker staged his own April shooting, using Lee Harvey Oswald and at least one other member of the "Friends of Walker". (3) Edwin Walker's plan for Dealey Plaza was supposed to "miss" JFK, and only scare Americans, and then convince them that the attempt was a Communist plot These three differences are all ridiculous, IMHO, yet what is more surprising is the many points in which this alleged, "Will Fritz" actually agrees with my CT. (I) For one thing, Walker's motives were the same as in my CT. Walker was frustrated by the problems of Cuba and Civil Rights. (ii) Walker's followers were all volunteer and fanatical. Walker worked closely with the Dallas right-wing, especially the John Birch Society and the Minutemen. (iii) Walker manipulated Lee Harvey from early in 1963, all through 1963. (iv) The Dallas yuppie party with George DM, Voikmar Schmidt, Mike and Ruth Paine and Everett Glover was a turning point in the Walker plot. Some additional data has piqued my interest, e.g. the main plotters according to "Will Fritz", namely: Edwin Walker, Robert Allen Surrey, James Hosty, Forrest Sorrels, Bill Alexander, Harry Holmes, Gerald Hill and Everett Glover. There is much to discuss about this book, IMHO, and yet I've been here since 2011, and never once heard any whisper about this book. Clearly the "Will Fritz" who was captain of Dallas Homicide in 1963 could not have published this book in 2002 -- since he died in 1984. But is it possible that this book was written by a relative? Was there an original manuscript that was used to construct this namby-pamby excuse about an alleged JFK "miss"? I'd like to hear from those who have seen or heard of The Kennedy Mutiny before. I have recently located + interviewed 2 previously un-named (+ never interviewed by any investigation, nor interviewed for any publicized book nor documentary, etc) Texas state highway patrolmen who drove convertibles in the murder-cade. Both men + their vehicles co-riders/co-witnesses were past/at the Main-to-Houston right turn when the attack shots volley's were fired. IImagine the 50th anniversary of President Kennedy, November 22, 2013, at the Grassy Knoll passing without a word in the press about his assassination and who was behind it, only a celebration of his life. That is what Dallas authorities are planning now. Every year, as you know, we hold a Moment of Silence on the Grassy Knoll at 12:30 pm on November 22 to commemorate the assassination of President John F. Kennedy and to keep alive the knowledge and outrage about the injustice of his intentionally unsolved political murder. After our event, which continues a tradition started in 1964 by researcher and journalist Penn Jones, Jr., we speak truth to power. We invite the best researchers to our annual meetings to present the best new evidence in the major political assassinations of the last five decades, and we encourage them to speak briefly on the Grassy Knoll. Our event is not a circus or carnival atmosphere, it is not even “conspiracy theory,” as the press commentators try to dismiss it. It is an event lest we forget. We will be there again this year, this time on Thanksgiving Day. We invite you to join us for the conference and for the event in Dallas, from November 22-25th. PERMISSION DENIED Imagine, on the 50th anniversary, when the attention of the national and international press, the crowds who come to Dallas and Dealey Plaza and the world that will be watching, that there would be no Moment of Silence. We have been applying for the permit for the last three years in anticipation of a major conference and huge crowds, and have been told repeatedly that none could be issued more than a year in advance. To our surprise a permit was then issued for the whole area of Dealey Plaza for next year for a full week in November to the Sixth Floor Museum, without an event yet planned. This permit is also exclusive of other events at the site, which ours never was. The director of the Sixth Floor Museum said she got the permit to be “proactive” on behalf of the Mayor’s office in Dallas, which then appointed a committee to plan “dignified” events to “celebrate the life of John F. Kennedy” that week. We have attempted to coordinate with the Sixth Floor Museum only to be told that we should “move the national and international press attention to [JFK’s] death to another moment.” That would be a trick, but we all know that it will be gone at any other moment. We are also trying to coordinate with the Mayor’s commission to exercise our right of free speech in a public park that belongs to history and the American people. We want to be there to be seen and heard, to be silent and loud. We don’t want to be in a “free speech zone” a mile away where no one will hear our message. The Director of the Sixth Floor Museum, which gives a very imbalanced view of the evidence and the history of the assassination of JFK to millions of tourists each year, told the Dallas Morning News that they had no event planned but they might do a “moment of silence”. I would suggest that if they do such an event to the exclusion of ours, it would stretch into an eternity of silence regarding this assassination. Penn Jones wrote four volumes on the evidence and strange witness deaths in the Kennedy assassination called Forgive My Grief. Forgive ours, but some things are not forgivable and should not be forgettable. We will be there on November 22, 2013 in any case. Hope you will be with us. THE PAST IS PROLOGUE We also fight to release all classified records on these murders, now decades past. Our support for the JFK Assassination Records Collection Act and the Review Board it created has led to the release of over 6.5 million pages of classified records buried since 1964, but not all of them. We have joined the call by the Committee for an Open Archives and the Assassination Archives and Research Center to expedite the release of all related files on JFK’s assassination by the 50th anniversary next year, and not in 2017 or even later. All efforts to use FOIA, Mandatory Declassification Review or even Obama’s Executive Order calling for release of files classified for over 25 years to be implemented without review have failed so far. The new agencies, created by his administration to facilitate transparency and release, have decided that the JFK records are outside their mandate.
