  1. Found this recently - RYBERG drawing of Bethesda Morgue.... Can anyone please explain how this photo (which has to be about where BOSWELL is in the Ryberg drawing) is taken in that room.. or in the room drawn by O'Connor down below. To his left would be the GALLERY,and neither of those 2 objects are gallery related...
  2. There are numerous threads on medical evidence and autopsy data on this forum, and as I do not know which thread to choose, I decided to start a new one. The lack of a wound on the back of President's head in official autopsy photographs is in stark contrast with numerous testimonies by Parkland medical staff who were consistent in observing such wound while President was attended to in trauma room 1. While some autopsy photographs have the back of the head crudely retouched, there may be one or couple pictures which could still contain original information pertaining to the wound in the back of President's head. The picture below appers to be just such picture (downloaded from jfkassassinationgallery.org) (left): I have added a bit of light to the dark tones which resulted in the image in the right panel. The logic of the problem suggests that in case of intentional alteration of this autopsy picture to hide the occipital-parietal wound, a texture in form of human hair would be added to mask the dark space represented by the wound. If comparatively light-coloured lines have been added to otherwise very dark area (hollow space of the wound), we should see a different distribution of very dark tones over the area of the wound compared to the area of intact hair. Basically, the hair fibres over the tampered area would not have have the correct vertical depth and would end abruptly in the dark void of the head wound. I have uploaded this image to ImageJ program which allows visualisation of the brightness of an image as a depth, creating a pseudo 3D image in which light tones are on the surface of the 3D structure and the dark tones in the depth of the 3D structure. Here are the black-and-white and coloured representations of the image above (the enhanced one): As brightness adds another dimension to the image, the photograph becomes a 3D object and can therefore be tilted, rotated etc. In the coloured image, please note that the very dark area next to the surgeon's thumb is represented as being located deep and it is painted with dark blue or black colour. This area of the head is likely devoid of any tissues, a cavity. It is possible to view the histogram of brightness across the height of the image which allows to view the configurations of the very dark pixels across the picture; those would likely be in areas devoid of any tissues. In the histogram image above, the top of the patch would be the most superficial layer of comparatively bright pixels, and the bottom of the patch would represent the distribution of comparatively dark pixels. The photograph is viewed as if from the side with the left corner being at President's neck and the right corner ending at the surgeon's elbow. Please note the very dark area corresponding to the region of the head next to the surgeon's finger. However, the occipital area of the head down to a line at approximately the level of external occipital protuberance is also very dark. The picture above shows the map of dark pixels in the right parieto-occipital region of the head. Basically, we see the bottom of 3D brightness-coded photograph. Please note that hair above the neck shows intermediate level of blue-violet colour (skin), while the region above of what may be the hollow area has clearly a darker "bottom" and connects to the dark area next to the surgeon's finger. In my humble opinion, the black-coded region in the photograph is related to a void owing to the missing tissue in the occipital-parietal region of the head. Interestingly, there appears to be a very bright spot interrupting the lower contour of the dark area. Of course, this spot would be bright when viewed from the top and it would be hard to pinpoint it as the neighboring spots would also be of comparatively light colour. However, unlike other light-coloured lines on the bright surface of the photograph, this spot has no dark bottom, meaning it is bright over the entire depth. One explanation would be that it is a metal object lodged in the lower aspect of the head wound. The "bottom" of the brightness coded pseudo-3D picture was overlaid onto the original photograph. This visualisation may actually point to the President's occipital-parietal wound. Notably, the texture of normal hair in the lower back region of the head differs from the texture of hair in the area overlaying the purported hollow space. The hair fibres in the lower part of the scalp ("normal hair texture") create vertical columns with a continuous gradation of brightness, and have a shape of Eiffel tower. In contrast, the columns of hair in the area overlaing the void have only a comparatively bright top and fall sharply to the very dark levels with almost no gradations of brightness (a skyscraper). This would be consistent with painting comparatively bright patches over a very dark region of the photograph overlaying a cavity. Coming back to the bright object which does not appear to have any bottom in the brightness-coded autopsy picture, the figure below depicts the location of the bright spot on the overlay of original photograph and the colour-coded "bottom" (dark tones), and the flipped X-ray image of President's head. While the head picture and the X-ray do not have identical orientations, it is still possible to at least evaluate the approximate distance of the bright 6.5 mm spot in the X-ray (which we know is only about 2.5 wide, as per Dr Mantik's observation) from the midline and to compare it with the bright looking spot not having a dark bottom in the autopsy picture.
  3. Having been assigned to both CSI and then twice to Detroit Homicide I've always been appalled at the quality of most of the autopsy pictures. If I had produced photos of such poor quality, I would have myself working midnights in uniform..

  5. Summary: So far, the score is 3 to 1, against anybody being allowed to see the X-rays in high quality, digital copies outside the National Archives building. EVIDENCE AGAINST: (1) Dr. Peter Cummings, Forensic Pathologist, Boston University. This is from the PBS Nova Cold Case JFK documentary Can the American people see the JFK autopsy x-rays in high quality? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uLawLMl0JiY (2) Dr. Michael Chesser, Neurologist http://assassinationofjfk.net/a-review-of-the-jfk-cranial-x-rays-and-photographs/ (3) Dr. Joseph Riley, PhD in Neuroscience. In an e-mail he told me: "Let me clarify: I don’t have copies of the x-rays; no one does. What I have are copies of the exhibits used by the HSCA (including their reproductions of the x-rays). I have 8x11 in prints of most of the medical evidence and 4x5 in negatives for the x-rays as well as prints. I got them from the National Archives but that was many years ago; there may be better copies available now. I just don’t know." http://jfkhistory.com/riehl/What_Struck_John.html So far, the news is bad, correct? That's is 3 to 0. Don't despair, though! There is reason to be hopeful !! See EVIDENCE FOR in my next post. -Ramon
  6. I found a very important 20+ year old paper. The PDF pages were in sorry shape, with large dark spots, etc. so I decided to restore it, deskew it, added OCR. You can retrieve here, in all its newfound glory: http://patriot.net/~ramon/jfk/The-Head-Wounds-of-John-Kennedy.pdf There is a related web page, in at least two sites: https://home.comcast.net/~ceoverfield/riley.html https://home.comcast.net/~ceoverfield/riley2.html http://jfkhistory.com/riehl/What_Struck_John.html That was the easy part. I have been trying to contact the author, Joseph N. Riley, Ph.D. There is an address, which I located in Google Maps. Tried to call. Nothing. Found the death notice of one of the paper co-authors. I am assuming that the author is no longer with us. My objective is to take the 2 well known autopsy X-rays and project them, as accurately as possible on a 3D model. Where can I find copies of the x-rays, in the best qualify possible? TIA -RFH
  7. Given the fact that all the evidence is fuzzy and inexact (I am being polite here), it is entirely possible that a bullet entered JFK's back and exited near his throat. A doctor friend told me about this case. A guy was involved in a bar brawl (back home in Venezuela) and was shot point blank near the middle of the forehead, between the eyes. When my friend received the patient in the E.R. he was in obvious shock, scared, etc but otherwise in perfect shape. There was very little blood. No exit orifice anywhere. The resting place of projectile was finally located in the middle of his back, it had traveled between the cranial bones and the skin. It is a well known fact that water, electricity and bullets are lazy: they follow the path of least resistance.
  8. Good Day.... FYI.... http://www.effinghamdailynews.com/local/x2039931337/Altamont-native-prepared-John-F-Kennedy-for-funeral (QUOTE) Altamont Native Prepared John F. Kennedy for Funeral [by] Nathan Scholes For the Daily News PHOTO: CAPTION: Photo of Edwin Stroble taken in Altamont PHOTO: CAPTION: Shown is a copy of the Gawler "First Call Sheet" (like an intake form) for the Kennedy funeral/embalming. It lists Ed Stroble as embalmer. ALTAMONT — On Nov. 22, 1963, as the nation mourned the loss of President John F. Kennedy, morticians of Joseph Gawler's Son Inc were summoned to Bethesda (MD) Naval Hospital to embalm the body and prepare it for viewing. According to one embalmer, the nature of the president's wounds required that he use "all of my knowledge and acquired skill to make him presentable." This embalmer, Edwin Bates Stroble, was a native of Altamont and one-time apprentice at Kull Funeral Home. Born May 22, 1921, to Edwin P. and Gladys G. Stroble, the younger Stroble began working for local businessman Woodrow Kull in high school before enlisting in the United States Navy. Following a stint of service that saw him fighting on Attu, he returned home. It was at this time that he began his apprenticeship under the supervision of Kull to learn the trade of embalming. In a letter to family friend Linda Frederick (nee Grobengieser) shortly after the assassination, Stroble credits Kull with teaching him "how to pose features naturally, and how to use a horse sense flair for make-up." He also referred to Kull as "one of the greatest embalmers I've ever watched." According to Stroble's sister-in-law, Ruby Stroble, he eventually decided to move to the East Coast, a place he had lived during his time in the Navy. He then began working for Joseph Gawler's Sons Inc, a prestigious Washington, D.C., funeral home, as a mortician. He did, however, make frequent trips home, visiting his family, Kull's Funeral Home and Frederick's father, Delbert Grobengieser. "He would park his sports car in the driveway and make me drool over it," recalled Frederick. Stroble was described as a "real likeable guy" by his sister-in-law and spent his time fishing and hunting. He writes that his main interest was music, in particular the works of Hoagy Carmichael. Frederick credits Stroble with getting her into Shriner's Hospital for treatment of her polio, when her family was considering sending her to Chicago. Stroble objected, stating that she would be treated like a lab rat in the northern facility. Due to the care she received at Shriner's, Frederick states that "people don't even realize that I had polio." As for the cause of his minor notoriety, it was, in part, Stroble's December 1963 home visit that alerted local residents to his connection with the Kennedy funeral. Lynn Kull, son of Stroble's mentor, recalls Stroble coming into the Kull embalming room and showing him the check he received for embalming the President. After a period of disbelief by Kull, Stroble mentioned that the President had been shot at the very top of the cranium and approximately the 7th vertebrae. He also mentioned that Kennedy's face was "not that marred." Considering the extensive work done to restore Kennedy's body, Stroble was disappointed when Jacqueline Kennedy decided that the casket would be closed for services. She and the President's brothers viewed him in the East Room of the White House, along with select staffers, before she ordered the closure. He did, however, come to believe that "as things turned out, it was a wise decision on her part." Stroble said that during this time, there was a "very high emotional response from the people of the district, and for that matter, the whole East Coast." He believed that if the casket had remained open, "it would have become mass hysteria, or worse." Stroble complimented Mrs. Kennedy for her composure, stating that "she was tremendous throughout the whole ordeal." Given the historical controversy and public interest surrounding President Kennedy's assassination, natural curiosity may lead many to wonder what Stroble knew about the President's wounds and their implications. In the aforementioned letter to Frederick, Stroble writes that he was "under orders from the White House Secret Service, and the FBI not to discuss any factors relating to points of entry of bullets, nor their effects." Stroble died in May 1976 and therefore was unable to provide testimony to the United States House of Representatives Select Committee on Assassinations (HSCA), which was introduced in 1975, but not officially created until September 1976. Fellow Gawler embalmer Thomas Robinson's testimony has been cited in support of a frontal entry wound, but no documented statements by Stroble suggest his agreement. Stroble did not mention to Kull or in writings the small wound near the temple that Robinson discusses in the official HSCA transcript. Upon his passing in Maryland in 1976, Stroble's possessions were reportedly not collected by his family and subsequently discarded. Therefore, any additional information that may have existed regarding President John F. Kennedy's death and funeral from Stroble's unique perspective has been lost. However, the existing records illustrate the importance of his small-town training and its impact on one of the most famous events in modern history. 9. On one hand, we have a 6.5 mm projectile which left an entry hole of say, 7 mm. Or, 10 mm, tops. The hole left by the missing bone in the back of the head can be determined by the eye witnesses: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DX58vrL5ZiA FF to minute 5. We have read or heard before: "baseball size", "grapefruit size" and "fist size", "egg size". This is the first time that I read the description used by Dr. Pepper Jenkins. To be sure: the question is not about the bullet's exit diameter (in the middle of the bone): let's accept that it was roughly the same as the entrance's diameter. I am not asking about the perforated hole (10 mm), but about the knocked out, or pushed hole. IOW: Perforated: Converted in dust, lost. Imagine a Craftman drill. Knocked Out: Picked by Harper. Well, the extremely precise answer is right here. State of the art technology allows us to reach an accuracy that was unfathomable in a good portion of the previous 50 years: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D6iuVr9V6os [FF to second 10, "Pressure Field"] That pressure, indicated by the beautiful color red/yellow is exactly the same size as Dr. Jenkins' palm. -Ramon
  10. Hi folks, I am planning to start a new forum in LinkedIn. https://www.linkedin.com/ It would be focused on this kind of material: http://patriot.net/~ramon/jfk/Physics-of-JFK-Assassination-Miatello.pdf http://patriot.net/~ramon/jfk/The-JFK-Autopsy-Materials-Twenty-Conclusions-after-Nine-Visits.pdf http://patriot.net/~ramon/jfk/Gemma-Radford-MSc-Thesis.pdf ... complete with a section about "Assorted Snake Oil and Bovine Manure": http://patriot.net/~ramon/jfk/Luis-Alvarez-and-the-JFK-Assassination.pdf https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dale_K._Myers In the LinkedIn site, just to mention a few examples, there are already forums about Clinical Pathology (3400 members). Some are private, for MDs, but I am sure we can find a way to ask some members the Radiology forums to interpret the JFK X-rays for us. http://patriot.net/~ramon/jfk/Radiology-Forums.png Everybody is welcome, of course, but the people I am mostly after, the ones who can provide the most value, is the likes of David Mantik, Alberto Miatello (see first paper above), John Hunt, etc. http://www.history-matters.com/essays/jfkmed/ADemonstrableImpossibility/ADemonstrableImpossibility.htm TIA for your interest.
  11. This is one of those things that infuriate me about the whole JFK case. It is impossible for the photo and the x-ray attached to be both genuine, right? Reasoning: (1) Unless all the Parkland personnel concocted a unanimous lie, the x-ray cannot possibly be real. Not even close. We may split hairs about the gaping hole being baseball-, fist- or grapefruit-size, or perhaps being closer to the right as opposed to the center, but a hole like that cannot possibly heal (or migrate) during the 4-hour flight from Parkland to Bethesda. (2) Let's say that we accept the x-ray. Now we have an even worse problem. Where on earth is the huge hole that should have obliterated the right eye, plus vicinity, of the victim? If there is any consistency in this world: • CTs must say that the X-ray is a fake. • LNs must say that the photo is a fake. TIA, -Ramon
  12. Exclusive from AssassinationOfJFK.net ----------------------------------------------------------------- JFK Skull X-Rays: Evidence of Forgery by David Mantik, M.D., Ph.D. This power point presentation, details the reasons the autopsy x-rays of President Kennedy’s skull, the x-rays that are now a part of public record, are a forgery. This presentation was put together by Dr. David Mantik, a Founding Member of the AssassinationOfJFK.net Research Forum. Dr. Mantik has also added a correction to his initial presentation. It is available below the PowerPoint, in the form of a PDF document that you can either view here online or download for your convenience. After looking through his presentation, you are invited to leave a comment here or on the AssassinationOfJFK.net Research Forum.
  13. While serving as chief analyst of military records at the Assassination Records Review Board in the nineties, Douglas Horne examined serious anomalies in the medical evidence in the JFK case. In a new 76-minute feature JFK - The Medical Cover Up, Horne draws on his book "Inside the ARRB" to present a comprehensive overview of the missing, altered and fraudulent evidence that indicates a cover-up by multiple agencies of the government. Their mission - to hide the true nature of JFK's wounds and purge all trace of a conspiracy. https://vimeo.com/ondemand/jfk
