Other notable Ice Cube Movies: Dangerous Ground (1997) - often derided for good reasons as the plot is not tight and some of the acting is unconvincing, but as a movie that deals with relevant topics and Ice Cubes frustration with the influence of drugs in culture as an American returning to post apartheid South Africa is refreshing. "Vusi Madlazi returns to the South African village he left as a young boy (he was organizing against apartheid, and left in fear of his life) to bury his father..Vusi proceeds to learn how conditions have changed since the end of apartheid, not always for the better for black men."
