Ed Hooker's best man in his 1946 wedding ushered by George HW Bush, is reported in the NY Times as S. Willets Meyer.

Meyer's wife, Lucie Taft (now Lucie Taft Meyer Bard, S. Willets Meyer died circa 1975, Lucie remarried in 1980) is the grand daughter of Charles A. Draper:

The book is actually titled: 150 Questions for a Guerrilla which I now own but there is no article inside written

by Ulius Amoss called Leaderless Resistance. The whole book is based on the "concept" of Leaderless Resistance

and guerrilla warfare, but the name Amoss and the title Leaderless Resistance does not appear anywhere in the

book.

The role of Frank G. Wisner, from Laurel, Mississippi who worked closely with Charles Douglas Jackson (C. D. Jackson) according to George Michael Evica in A Certain Arrogance as well as the roles of Wisner and Colonel Philip J. Corso now loom even larger in the JFK conundrum. Evica spends over 12 pages on C. D. Jackson and perhaps another 20 on Frederick G. Osborn and Wickliffe Draper plus Gen. William H. Draper, Jr., but he leaves out one crucial piece of information. The fact that C. D. Jackson was in the wedding party of Wickliffe Draper's sister in 1924 when she married a nephew of former President William Howard Taft. Jackson and Draper were in their early 30's then and remained lifetime associates. This confirms the role of C. D. Jackson, the PsyOps expert in withholding the Zapruder film from public viewing for years, most likely at Draper's request. Also the ISI publication was called INFORM and that went out to its subscribers which included Herbert Philbrick once in the FBI. I also just received a copy of the Ninth Air Force pictorial puff piece in a book commissioned by Hoyt Vandenburg and published by Amoss

which contains over 40 water color reproductions of the Ninth Air Force in action. Quite a nice piece of work. The Ninth Air Force was involved

in Northern Africa operations during World War II including Amoss locations in Cairo and Algiers where Bonner Fellers allowed the troop movements of Montgomery to be intercepted. Hitler called Fellers "our best source of information" and Fellers appeared later in The Manchurian Candidate as Fighting Frank Bollinger.

Here are some more details about the Tafts and the Drapers I just discovered. Did not know that the Dukes Tobacco Interests

and the Tafts were this closely associated with the Textile interests of the Drapers.

Did you folks know that Frank Wisner from Mississippi was also in the 1936 Olympics as a sprinter along with Floyd Draper, Wick Draper's

nephew and that they BOTH played 2nd fiddle to Jesse Owens and Roger Metcalf as well. Neither the Drapers, the Wisners, the entire East Coast WASP establishment, nor Adolph Hitler were too excited about how that all played out. Draper started The Pioneer Fund a few months later in 1937, and the rest is history as they say. Instead of Floyd Draper and Frank Wisner going down as 4 time Olympic Gold Medalists they had

to settle for the relay races in the sprints and Owens and Metcalf got all the Gold and the Glory, too.

Seems to me that the law firm of: Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft played a big role in some famous cases in the

middle of the previous century. Anyone hear of them?

Mr. and Mrs. Taft and Walbridge S. Taft were guests at the wedding of Mary, daughter of Benjamin N. Duke of the American Tobacco Co., to A.J. Drexel Biddle. ($500,000 in Gifts At Biddle Wedding. New York Times, Jun. 17, 1915.) He was active in fundraisers for the American Society for the Control of Cancer in 1926. (Cancer Fund Gains $90,000 in Campaign. New York Times, Sep. 28, 1926; $100,000 Offered For Cancer Cure. New York Times, Dec. 16, 1926.)

Walbridge S. Taft

His son, Walbridge Smith Taft, Yale 1907, was a member of Elihu. He practiced in his father's office until 1913, practiced independently to 1915, partner Parks, McKinstry, Taft 1915-17, then Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft until his death in 1951. He married Elizabeth Clark of Detroit in 1923. (Bulletin of Yale University. Obituary Record of Graduates of the Undergraduate Schools Deceased during the Year 1950-1951, pp. 63-64.) He and his father were guests at the wedding of Mary, daughter of Benjamin N. Duke of the American Tobacco Co., to A.J. Drexel Biddle. ($500,000 in Gifts At Biddle Wedding. New York Times, Jun. 17, 1915), and he was an usher of William J. Sturgis at his marriage to Thomas B. Yuille's daughter Ellen. (Miss Ellen Yuille Weds W.J. Sturgis. New York Times, Nov. 18, 1915.) Taft's first marriage was to Helen Draper, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George A. Draper of Boston. His brother, William Howard Taft 2d, was best man. Ushers included William J. Sturgis, Lee J. Perrin [s&B 1906], Arthur P. McKinstrey, James Watson Webb, Angier B. Duke, Theodore P. Dixon, Reese Alsop, and James Jackson Higginson, all of New York. (Walbridge S. Taft Weds Miss Draper. New York Times, Feb. 11, 1917.)

Obituary Record 1950-1951 / Yale University Library (pdf, 160 pp)

William H. Taft 2d

Willliam Howard Taft 2d, Yale 1909, was subscription manager of The New York Times from 1923 to 1929. He was associated with securities brokers Taylor, Bates & Co. from 1929 to 1934. He was vice president of the Central Savings Bank 1934-36, and assistant treasurer, assistant vice president and secretary of the Bank for Savings. He married Marguerite Temple O'Neill of Pittsburgh in 1917. (Obituary Record of Graduates of the Undergraduate Schools Deceased during the Year 1951-1952, pp. 79-80.)

I will read that as time permits but just suffice it to say that James Forrestal and Frank Wisner's relationship to the ManCand pre-MKULTRA training programs they were either heading up or invoved with led to their ultimate demise via self-destruction. Ulius Amoss (and Carleton Coon?) worked for Frank Wisner and Clendenin J. Ryan, w;the Baltimore millionaire who financed Amoss' anti-Communist ventures, reported to James Forrestal during World War II. Condon references Carriers of the Forrestal class in Manchurian Candidate with a link to F. W. Woolworth's vanishing cream to shrink ships down to the size of some of the toy battleships which Vonsiatsky had in his home in Connecticut. This makes no sense at all unless Condon knew all about the photos of "Vonsiatsky's Navy" in the NY World-Telegram (from John Roy Carlson?), and Vonsiatsky's apparent joint work (directly or indirectly) with Wisner and Forrestal on early Man Cand programs.

Vonsiatsky in all likelihood got his neighbor and close fiend, Wickliffe Draper, involved with ManCand and MKULTRA where Draper learned all about these programs by paying off Dr. Hans J. Eysenck, through Pioneer Fund grants. The question still remains whether Draper and Vonsiatsky with the help of Ray S. Cline's Man Cand programmed proteges like Robert Emmett Johnson and Lee Oswald could have done the entire hit themselves or not. Did they use only the ASC foursome of Angleton, Morris, Willoughby and Cline as go-betweens or as masterminds to concoct a situation where a cover-up HAD TO BE INSTITUTED by dint of the presence of LHO as the selected patsy and/or as a token shooter under Man Cand hypnosis from the TBD. To me this is a nitpicker's point at best. Both Ray S. Cline and Robert Emmett Johnson, made a lucrative finanacial career from that point forward out of their "Murder, Inc." tag team match ups which later included Archbishop Romero, Benito Acquino and most likely RFK AND MLK.

I realize the debate about "CIA-sanctioned" and "offical CIA" hits versus hits by "CIA Mercenaries or Cowboys" with "CIA training" will never be solved to anyone's satisfaction in my lifetime. But the fact that suspected CIA agent, Harold Chait from Baltimore, MD has been conclusively linked as a financial conduit to both "Nellie's Boys" in South Florida and later to Iran-Contra covert funding via The Bank of Maryland by Iran-Contra whistle blower Robert Maxwell leads me to believe that the use of CIA proprietaries implies official knowledge and official participation in the JFK hits and in the Iran-Contra proceedings far beyond whatever was distinctly provable before this. Also the confession of E. Howard Hunt which is independently verifiable regarding his links to a "CIA safehouse" in Miami puts the true icing on the cake. Stick a fork in it, the evidence in the JFK plot is well done.

Vonsiatsky bought his toy battleships at F. W. Woolworth's to solidify Condon's point. I will find the N.Y. World-Telegram reference on the web or just look in The Russian Fascists. His toy battleships are right there for all to see on the window sills of his Putnam "fake fortress". More later.

Details in my manuscript are to follow.

Great work, Tom!

See if you can figure out the relationship between Edward Gordon Hooker's mother and the Marguerite/Margaret Williams who left money to George deMohrenschildt in her will and helped get him a job with Humble Oil.

Curiously,

I've discovered that de Mohrenschildt's wife's (Wynne Sharples) uncle Larry Sharples, was acquainted with and competed against Marguerite Clark Willaim's husband's air racing team designer and pilot, Wedell-Willams' James R. Wedell, before Wedell's plane crash death in June, 1934:

None other than C. D. Jackson was the best man at the TAFT-DRAPER wedding in 1917, that is how far back Wickliffe Draper and C. D. Jackson went in fact. This nexus of Tafts, Drapers, Grays

and Bushes formed a WASP-inspired Eugenics establishment for over 75 years. They had contacts, through Draper, right into the Mississippi Sovereingty Commission and their band of thugs to

do their dirty work.

Looks like Draper not only had technical help from Dr. Hans J. Eysenck in stealing the MK/ULTRA technology and passing it on to Ray S. Cline at WACL, but he also had help from

Frank Wisner and maybe even Cord Meyer, too. Wisner was an Olympic level hurdler but either decided not to try out for the 1936 Olympics or did not make the team. Draper's

nephew Floyd Draper, was relegated to Olympic obscurity when both Jesse Owens and Ralph Metcalf took the Gold and Silver in the 100 meter and the 200 meter, Floyd's specialties.

Both Hilter and Draper were really ripped about this and Wisner probably joined them, too. A year later, Draper started The Pioneer Fund, and the rest is history.

....anyway, I thought she would be easier to trace back to her white Russian parents....she came into her marriage to Ernest Byfield Jr., circa 1955, with a 55 carat diamond....I assumed that she inherited the diamond.

Ernest is Ernie Byfield Jr., mentioned in David KE Bruce's book as an OSS officer:

One of our SI men, Byfield,'4 returned yesterday with a slight hand wound. Being on the point of boarding a transport for France, he was taking a photograph ...

As I've documented in the post linked above, after Vala Osterman Byfield died in 1970, Ernest married an Italian countess named Diana Masieri. The widow Masieri Byfield has been married to one Robert Strange McNamara since 2004:

http://news.google.com/archivesearch?q=dia...=1&ie=UTF-8

Ernest's mom was Gladys Rosenthal of Chicago, originally married to Ernest L. Byfield, of the Sherman Hotel Group and the Ambassador East Hotel's Pump Room restaurant.

Glady's second husband was Raymond F. Tartiere, a Parisian and London banker. In 1940, the couple purchased the 400 acre, Glen Ora estate in Middleburg, VA.

In late 1960, at the suggestion of JFK friend, WWII Time war correspondent, turned artist, William Walton, JFK, with Jackie's encouragement, leased Glen Ora from Walton's "old friend", Gladys Tartiere, allegedly relutctantly until Clark Clifford and Walton could convince Tartiere to do so. Glen Ora was the weekend white house until spring, 1963, with Jackie and children usually living there from thursday until monday nights.

Ernest L. Byfield groomed his executive assistant, Patrick Hoy, to assume the presidency of the Sherman Hotel group, upon Byfield's death in 1950. It was reported that Byfield, never having written a word in print, suddenly took off for Europe in 1944 on assignment of Hearst newspapers as a war correspondent.

Chicago columnist Irv Kupcinet, a close friend, along with Patrick Hoy, of mob lawyer Sidney Korshak, lived nightly, for many years in booth one of the Pump Room restaurant, managed by Byfield, and then by Patrick Hoy. Ernest Jr., with white Russian wife Vala at home, was a director of Sherman Hotels, along with his brother, Hugh.

Kupcinet's co-columnists and childhood friends Ira and Jimmy Colitz, owned the Clover bar, next to Hotel Sherman, and were friends since childhood with Jack Ruby. Testimony to the WC revealed that Ruby frequented the Clover Bar, returning there within the year before Nov, 22, 1963, and Ruby's brother testified that Ruby lived at the Sherman Hotel after leaving the military in 1946, and stayed there when visiting Chicago, thereafter.

Henry Crown, largest stockholder of TFX prime contractor, General Dynamics, as head of the executive committee, hired Hoy in 1960, as Gen Dyn corporate VP and president of it's Chicago, Material Service divison.

Henry Crown's personal attorney, Albert E. Jenner, was appointed assistant counsel on the WC, responsible for determining whether Oswald or Ruby were part of a conspiracy...or not, by Earl Warren, a close friend of Henry Crown's principle business partner and friend, Conrad Hilton.

Clark Clifford, mentioned as the JFK aide responsible for "convincing" Gladys Tartiere to lease GLen Ora to JFK, sponsored Albert E. Jenner, a republican, for an LBJ appointment to the Supreme Court.

Clifford's obit describes a scheduled "one on one", one hour meeting on Nov., 23, 1963 at the white house with LBJ, that turned into four hours, lasting "long into the evening".......

Patrick Hoy pled guilty in 1970 to "wire fraud", in the course of fraudulantly obtaining $5 million in bank loans, and declaring bankruptcy with default on loans of $165,000 outstanding to sons of Henry Crown. Although Crown's son, "John J.", was an associate and then law partner of Albert Jenner since 1959, and Crown gained the most financially from the halting of the senate investigations of Bobby Baker, TFX, and LBJ after Nov., 22, 1963, Jenner was still appointed to the WC.

Henry Crown's other son, Lester, net worth $4.8 billion, and his son, James Schine Crown, are early and principle backers of President Obama's presidential bid.

Lester's wife, Renee Schine, is the sister of the late G. David Schine, close associate of Roy Cohn in 1954, and target of RFK's embarassing exposure of Cohn's 43 attempts to persuade the US Army to provide special treatment, exemption from the draft, or officer's commission for draftee Schine.

Schine later served as the GM of his father's Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles, still owned by the Schine family when RFK was shot there in June, 1968.

Probably all unrelated, just the work of an all knowing and omnipotent God, laying down a series of unrelated coincidences, intended to confuse and confound us, for his amusement?

Tom, I missed this original posting in February and regret the delayed response but I have not yet come across Valentina Osterman(n).

"Probably all unrelated, just the work of an all knowing and omnipotent God, laying down a series of unrelated coincidences, intended to confuse and confound us, for his amusement?"

I would agree with your statement above, however, for the most part. Over 50% of the JFK "investigative leads" would fall into this category, IMHO.

Did the Warren Commission and the FBI and CIA deliberately bury John Bevilaqua's missing link?

http://www.fbi.gov/libref/historic/famcase...y/espionage.htm

....The first political organization Vonsiatsky joined in the United States was known as the Brotherhood of Russian Truth which was founded by three men about the year 1923. This party had as its goal the overthrow of the Communist regime in Russia so that the Russian people could set up a type of government of their own choosing. Members of the party attempted to accomplish its goal by preparing propaganda to be distributed among the Russians. The propaganda was usually in pamphlet form and was smuggled into Russia by workmen who placed the pamphlets in boats sailing for Russian ports. In some instances, too, the leaflets were distributed in fish markets in countries bordering on Russia, the thought being that the storekeepers would use the leaflets to wrap dried fish so that they would come into the possession of the purchasers of the fish.

The purposes and aims of the Brotherhood of Russian Truth appealed to Vonsiatsky and about 1927 or 1928, he entered the party and headed the American branch. There were chapters of the organization in Yugoslavia, Germany, France, and in fact, practically all over the world. Count Vonsiatsky was active in the organization until about 1932, when he realized that a movement was on foot to have the party fall into the hands of the Communists. After having a fight with one of the leaders he broke off his relationship with the organization in 1932. The Brotherhood of Russian Truth did not evolve any particular plan of action either inside or outside of Russia but merely urged the Russian people to prepare for the day when they would be able to overthrow the Communist regime. After leaving the Brotherhood of Russian Truth in 1932, Vonsiatsky decided to form a political party of his own to carry out his own ideas and aims in attempting to overthrow the Soviet government and establish a free government for the Russian people.....

They sure investigated the heck out Dorothey Pierson's family background, but they do not mention the one non-family member in the DeMohrenschildt - Pierson 1943 wedding party, the other best man, Baron "Geddard" Wrede of Washington:

Dimitri, and someone described as "Baron Geddard Wrede":

3940826756_b24b3b4d16_b.jpg

It only took a few minutes of searching to make me suspect the wedding announcement in the newspaper made an error in publishing Baron Wrede's first name.

The investigators in late 1963 could have unearthed his name and background if they chose to, so I assume they did, and hid the results from the public, and probably from the Warren Commission:

...Naturally British Intelligence actively trawled through the most willing Russion emigrants for agents, and during the course of this exercise stumbled on a Soviet spy who had infiltrated White emigre circles. In 1930, a 'former Russian naval lieutenant' named Kerr,.....

...Kerr's real mission was to penetrate the Brotherhood of Russian Truth, a White Guards organization which provoked this response when its objectives were published:

The Brotherhood of Russian Truth disseminates anti-communist propaganda, creates trouble whenever possible for the Soviet administration.......it's final objective

is a general armed rising.

One of the leaders of the Brotherhood in Berlin was Aleksandr N. Kolberg, a former Tsarist public prosecutor who had longed worked in Orlov's intelligence organization under the pseudonym Lomonosov, and specialized in the forgery of Soviet and Comintern signatures. Kolberg was recruited by Kerr 'for the British' and was remunerated, never

suspecting that he was in fact supplying information to the OGPU's Foreign Department. When this duplicity was eventually discovered, White Guards were covered in confusion, not least because it had been the head of British Intelligence in the Baltic countries and Poland, a man named Bogomolets, who had approached members of the Brotherhood in an attempt to tap into the organization's networks. Bogomolets has used an agent for this purpose, a Baron Wrede, who was the head of the Brotherhood's Baltic section in Berlin, and, in conversation with Kolberg, Wrede had asked him if he would be willing to work for the British, and learned that he was already doing so. The information was immediately checked by the British and the Foreign Department's agents reported that the former Tsarist military attache in Paris had been approached by Captain Smith of the British Army who had been asked to be put in touch with Kerr. Soon thereafter another British officer, Lieutenant Eridge, arrived in Berlin from Copenhage and began an investigation which established that Kerr was in fact working for the Soviets....

MI6's Performance in Historical Perspective

by Trowbridge H. Ford

...In 1925, Reilly - now working for SIS station chief in Helskinki Commander Ernest Boyce, a close friend of 'C's - was finally lured across the frontier to his death. It turned out that Boyce was also working for the OGPU and hard cash, and according to KGB general Alexandr Orlov, who defected in 1938, Boyce betrayed Reilly.

Then the OGPU had agent Nikolai Kroshko penetrate the office of Vladimir Orlov, the head of the White Russian operations, causing him to be deported by Berlin's police after Kroshko informed it of his activities, and in Orlov's absence another OGPU agent - pretending to be an SIS agent named Kerr, recruited on the alleged behalf of British intelligence but actually for Moscow - got to Aleksandr Kolberg, leader of the Brotherhood of Russian Truth, resulting in the rapid decline of the White Russian cause. The only reason that SIS discovered the betrayal is that another British agent, a man named Bogomolets, was informed by Kolberg when his agent, a Baron Wrede, tried to recruit him for London that he was already working for MI6's Kerr - a revelation which ultimately determined his employment by Moscow.....

Sometime before July, 1925, Baron Wrede married the daughter of a Yale grad who later lived in Paris, and then in London:

The marriage of Augustine FitzGerald to Sybil, the daughter of Major Charles ...

died shortly after the war, and he leaves a daughter, Baroness Alida Wrede. ...

Chances are that Demohrenschildt did not become so friendly with Baron Wrede in the short time he was in the US after March, 1940. but it is possible. It is also possible that Sten Goddert Wrede is not the "Baron Wrede" who was the SIS agent who made the key discovery that netted a Soviet spy in 1930.

Immigration and border and transit records available at ancestry.com do not contain anything on a "Geddard" Wrede, and neither does any internet search I have done.

Immigration records show that when Sten Goddert Wrede arrived in the US for the first time, in July, 1925, he traveled with his wife, Alida, and he used a Finnish diplomatic passport, listed his occupation as "Baron", and was in the US for a ten day visit, staying with friend on Riverside Drive in Manhattan. Wife Alida, born in Paris of Irish decent, claimed to have lived in the US for seven years. On the trip back to the UK, they claimed to be in transit to Finland via Riga.

THe records show Goddert traveling alone as marital status "single", in March, 1940 from Genoa to NYC, claiming he had not been in the US since 1925, and that he would be staying at the St. Regis Hotel and the length of his stay was indefinite.

The next record show him, returning alone to New York, in November 1941, from Lisbon, Portugal. final destination Washington, for a stay in the US until the war ceased.

He was part of Finnish Leggation:

I took the opportunity then to inquire of Mr. Solanko as to the present whereabouts

of Mr. Wrede, an Attaché

of the Legation, who, so far as I knew, has spent very few days in Washington

since his arrival in the United States. Mr. Solanko said that the Legation

had already gotten in touch with Mr. Wrede who was in New York and had instructed

him to return to Washington immediately. I did not suggest that the Legation

might countermand this instruction so as to permit Mr. Wrede to return at

a later date as in the case of Mr. Mikkola.

Mr. Solanko inquired whether we are acquainted with the precise details

of Finnish restrictions upon the movements of American consular and diplomatic

personnel in Finland. I said that I was not but that from what I knew of

those restrictions they were similar in effect to those communicated to the

Finnish Legation in its note under reference. We did not discuss this matter

further.....

Wow, what a great piece of research, Tom. My hat is off to you. Two very obvious links between George de M and

Anastase Vonsiatsky are worth noting here.

1) In American Swastika by Charles Higham Vonsiatsky is credited with being the head of all White Russian spies in North America

both before and after he went to the Springfield, MO penitentiary from perhaps 1941 to 1946 for violations of the Alien and Sedition Act of 1917. And George de M has been identified by at least 5 different persons as being a suspected Nazi spy. His cousin, a Baron Constantine de Maydell, I think it was, also went to jail for being convicted as a Nazi spy making him another Vonsiatsky direct report during WW II.

2) One of George's wives (Jeanne or Jean) was actually BORN in Harbin, Manchuria (Manchuoko) while her parents were living out their diaspora after being forced to leave Russia right after the Communist Revolution. Of course George lived there too both before and during that marriage. And Prof. John J. Stephan in The Russian Fascists (which you should read) mentions that Anastase Vonsiatsky's main HQs were IN Harbin, Manchuria from maybe 1919 until about 1949 where his 100,000 followers treated him like a God. Whenever he traveled around the world on his train tours, each station was filled with marching bands, soldiers at arms and a bevy of beauties anxious to get a shot at "Annie".

Hi, Gary Mack. I see you are on this thread already, you little bugger.

3) And where did Charles Willoughby go right after WW-II ended? Why to Harbin, Manchuria to visit the site of various live vivisection operations on British and American POWs and Chinese citizens performed by Japanese war criminals. He picked up samples called "human detritus" kept by the Japanese from various infections injected into unsuspecting victims when they were so desperate for methods to regain the lead in the WW-II conflict. Charles probably also heard about the training of

Japanese Kamikaze pilots in... ummm... the Harbin region, courtesy of Vonsiatsky's Mind Control experts. That is when Willoughby and Vonsiatsky were put on their joint path of destiny to kill JFK. Willoughby heard of Vonsiatsky and his Mind Control techniques and later he sought out Vonsiatsky or vice versa in their joint quest to make the Fourth Reich victorious and to kill JFK.

4) Richard Condon got wind of both Willoughby, MacArthur and Vonsiatsky and put the latter two in his novel called... ummm...

The Manchurian Candidate because Vonsiatsky WAS in fact THE CANDIDATE FROM MANCHURIA to become the Premier of a re-conquered Russia with the aid of various rotten Nazi bastidges like Willoughby.

Vonsiatsky was known as AA V-V by the way for Anastase Andreivitch Vonsiatsky-Vonsiatskoy his full name.

Converting AA V-V to the numeric positions of these letters in the alphabet deciphers to: 11/22

End of story. And that's the way it was... November 22, 1963. And You Were There....

Thank you, John Bevilaqua. I am just going in whatever direction the leads I manage to unearth, take me in. When I find linkages, as in this one between DeMohrenschildt's unexamined 1943 "best man" Sten Goddert Wrede and Wrede's affiliations; Russsion Brotherhood for Truth and as an SIS agent and Finnish diplomat, Vonsiatsky needs to be mentioned. I knew you could describe Vonsiatsky's background in greater detail than in his partial FBI file.

Again, as I said early in my last post, I find it curious that the WC investigation went into such depth on the backgrounds of Dorothy Pierson;s parents,, although her father, A. Romeyn Pierson, was dead nearly 15 years by 1964....the only other irrelevant things the WC left out, in detailing the origins of Dorothy Pierson's maternal grandparents were that her mother's father immigrated from the UK, circa 1890, and his wife, Dorothy's grandmother, was the daugher of German immigrants.

Sure....Dorothy's mother's (Cornelia Skinner) folks lived in Gloversville, NY, at the time of Cornelia's birth, but didn't so many who the WC investigators so lightly passed over, have ties to Gloversville? (George Senator, Joe "the wop" Cataldo, and Henry Crown's daughter-in-law, Renee Schine, and her brother and RFK nemesis, G. David Schine, and their dad, the Mickey Cohen "associate" J. Myer Schine, who happened to be the owner of the Ambassador Hotel in LA in 1968.)

And, it's not like WC Asst. Counsel Jenner, (Henry Crown's personal attorney and "mob" defense lawyer for Teamster's Pension fund looter, Allen Dorfman.) didn't broach the "best man" subject with Demohrenschildt....he just didn't happen to ask anything about the actual best man DeMohrenschildt had once chosen, Sten Goddert Wrede:

....Mr. JENNER. Tell me about the Sharples family.

Mr. De MOHRENSCHILDT. The Sharples family is from Philadelphia, Philadelphia Quakers. He is in the centrifugal processing business and also in the oil business. And I had dealings with his nephew for many years.

Mr. JENNER. What is his name?

Mr. De MOHRENSCHILDT. Butler, Samuel Butler, Jr. He runs the oil end of Mr. Sharples' operations. And they had a small interest in Rangely Field. That is how I got acquainted with Mr. Butler.

So we knew about each other before--my wife's father, and so on and so forth--and--the daughter asked his advice, whether she should marry such an adventurous character like me, and the father said, all right---obviously had sufficient good information from Butler about me. Butler was my best man at the wedding.

Mr. JENNER. Best man at your wedding to Miss Sharples?

Mr. De MOHRENSCHILDT. Yes; Sam Butler.

There were several ushers. He was one of the ushers. I don't remember who was the best man. My brother was the best man. He was one of ushers. So we got married.

Mr. JENNER. Was the Sharples family wealthy?

Mr. De MOHRENSCHILDT. Very wealthy.

Mr. JENNER. Socially prominent?

Mr. De MOHRENSCHILDT. Socially prominent. But not too interested in society, because they are Quakers, you know. But my wife is interested. ....

And, it is not like it was no big deal that Wrede was chosen by Demohrenschildt to be co-best man with brother Dimitri. The wedding announcement image in my last post makes it plain that tge wedding was very private. Dorothy Pierson chose to be unattended for the ceremony, owing, it says, to the illness of her mother.

I doubt that this had anything to do with Dorothy's other circumstances, the fact that she had just turned 18, was pregnant, and was marrying a man more than twice

her age, don't you?

In my last post, there was no source to confirm that Sten Goddert Wrede was "the Baron" who was an SIS agent and headed the Baltic branch of the Russian Brotherhood, "from Berlin", or even to support the notion that this "Baron Wrede" ever lived in Germany. I think it will take examination of records, if they are even available, from the UK gov. archives to glean much more about Sten Goddert Wrede's service to Great Britiain and to the Russian Brotherhood.

When Sten Goddert Wrede visited the US for the first time, in July, 1925, the ship's manifest indicates that he listed his occupation as "Barion", that he was accompanied by his bride of nine days, Alida, who we know to be Alida Fitzgerald, and that the address in New York, NY where they planned to stay was, "476 Riverside Drive."

This is the last reference I can find, save in her father, Augustine Fitzgerald's 1930 Yale Univ. obituary, of "Baroness Alida Wrede."

http://select.nytimes.com/gst/abstract.htm...4DD405B878EF1D3

May 27, 1927,

Granddaughter Is Baroness, Now Living in Germany ...

The article above reports the death of Alida Fitzgerald Wrede's 93 year old grandmother. The 1920 US census shows the elderly Mrs. Fitzgerald to be living with her granddaughter in NYC. The funeral announcement, published three days later the above article, shows the funeral being held at the deceased Mrs. Fitzgerald's home, with the location listed as the same address as listed in the July, 1925 ship's manifest stating Wrede's destination in NYC

THe other things we know about Sten Goddert Wrede is that he applied in NYC for US citizenship, but apparently never received it, because records of his travel to the US, nearly annually from 1946 to 1956, show him to be a citizen of Finland.

On the passenger manifests for two of those post WWII visite to the US, including one in 1948, and in a later one, of six months duration, Wrede listed the place he would be staying as this location in NYC:

Streetscapes/39 East 79th Street; A Co-op Built by and for the Social Register Crowd

By CHRISTOPHER GRAY

Published: Sunday, November 14, 1999

THE sidewalk shed at 39 East 79th Street is soft gray with a simple white stripe, like the canopy of a private club on Park Avenue. That's fitting, because the 14-story 1926 building, at the northeast corner of Madison Avenue, was built like a club, a Social Register co-op put up by a small circle of friends from Tuxedo Park, N.Y. -- and headed by Emily Post, the patrician author of books on etiquette....

The only folks who I know of who came from Tuxedo Park, or who attended school there, are relatives of Claibourne Pell, Hale Bogg's wife's family, and

Maude Coster, who entertained Charlene Wrightsman and who was the widow of Morgan partner, Charles Coster, (John Train's grandparents), the parents of Charles Coster Jr., Orange County fox hunt buddy of EA Harriman. Joseph Dryer's wife, Nancy attended school in Tuxedo Park.

I'll post photos of census and ships' and flight manifest records supporting the points above, if there is further interest.....

Tom,

Did you notice that when Wrede came to the U.S. aboard the S.S. Rex from Genoa in 1940, he was with numerous other diplomats?

A few weeks earlier (Feb. 17) newspapers reported that U.S. Sec. of State Sumner Welles sailed on the Rex to Naples with steel corporation chairman Myron C. Taylor as FDR's peace envoy to the Vatican.

(Feb. 17--On the same ship was Mr. Axel WennerGren, leading Swedish industrialist, who according to Mr. Kluchkhorn of "The New York Times," was summoned from Nassau, where he has a winter home, by General Goering, who had informed him that he wanted Germany to make peace in Finland.)

Interestingly, the Rex had been a gambling ship until a year before these passengers boarded.

http://www.onlinenevada.org/SS_Rex_Club

Tony Cornero, a one-time 1920s bootlegger from California and a former casino operator well known in Las Vegas, opened the S.S. Rex Club casino at Second and Fremont streets in downtown Las Vegas in 1944. Cornero, born in Italy in 1895, named the club after an ill-fated gambling ship he owned off the coast of Southern California, six years before.

Back in 1931 in Las Vegas, Cornero and his two brothers built and ran the Meadows Club at Fremont Street and Boulder Highway, considered the first casino resort to debut in the town in the weeks after the Nevada Legislature legalized gambling. After a brief success, the business ran into trouble, and Cornero and his brothers lost control of the Meadows only months after it opened.

Cornero returned to California. In 1938, he operated the S.S. Rex gambling ship, about three miles off the coast of Santa Monica, in international waters where gambling was legal. But California prohibited gambling, and Cornero and his fellow cruise ship operators often ignored the three-mile limit. The state's attorney general, Earl Warren, deemed the boat illegal and the United States Coast Guard viewed it as a menace to navigation. Following a nationally publicized confrontation with the Coast Guard that lasted nine days at sea, Cornero was forced to close down his floating casino.

Of course I am more interested in the other ship Rex, docked at Palm Beach, owned by Somosas, connected to Belcher Oil and leased to the CIA under cover of Collins Radio, Richardson, Texas.

Yes Linda, I did notice. There were even more diplomats listed on the Ship's manifest of Wrede's last return trip to New York, (Wrede's name is on pg. 3 Line 22) in November, 1941, just before the US entered the war and Wrede was confined to the US for the duration of hostilities. I only regret I do not have the patience to catalogue and cross reference the names of all of the first class passengers listed on the manifests of all the voyages of my subjects of interest. I have thought of doing that in other instances, but laziness has so far triumphed over curiousity.

Have you done it with any manifest?

I think reading this snippet a couple of years ago, planted the idea in my head:

Roosevelt remarked : "That will be a great boatload," observed that if someone didn't get thrown overboard before the ship reached Southampton he would miss a guess. It would not, he predicted, be Jim Farley.

League's Lenders

All it takes to start a political organization are two members and one slogan. But to keep a political organization alive requires real money. Very much alive, therefore, was the American Liberty League according to its year-end financial report filed with the Clerk of the House of Representatives last week. The League had taken in $483,175.46 in 1935, still had more than $93,000 in the bank.

Biggest single outlay: $36,750 salary and $18,000 expenses for cold-eyed President Jouett Shouse. Biggest single item of income: a $79,750 "loan" from Irenee du Pont. League lenders in the $10,000 class included Lammot, Pierre, S. Hallock and William du Pont, John J. Raskob, Alfred P. Sloan Jr., Ernest T. Weir, Joseph E. Widener, all good haters of the New Deal. In the $5,000 class were Phillips Petroleum Co. and Edward F. ("Let's Gang Up") Hutton.

I have had plenty of opportunity in my post in Berlin to witness how close some of our American ruling families are to the Nazi regime. . . .

"Certain American industrialists had a great deal to do with bringing fascist regimes into being in both Germany and Italy. They extended aid to help Fascism occupy the seat of power, and they are helping to keep it there."

-- William E. Dodd, U.S. Ambassador to Germany, 1937.

In 1935, after Babe Ruth had left the New York Yankees, remaining Yankees star player Lou Gehrig's salary was slightly less than former democratic leader Jouett Shouse agreed to from the neo-fascist in exhange for helping to cement a US political structure of one party with two right wings.....yet the allegedley "partisan" political elite of that era was mostly of one united agenda and openly socialized and traveled with each other. Obama, Sen. Di Feinstein, and the rest of democrats today who work with republicans to be more Bush than Bush, when it comes to restricting civil liberties, subservience to executive power consolidation, accountability for the crimes possibly committed by the highest elected officials, and for furtherance of the national security state, must draw their inspiration from the list of stooges in that 1939 time.com article reporting the shipboard travel companionship.

I thought this stood out, in view of all pre-September, 2009 investigation of Demohrenschildt had overlooked (ignored?) Finnish "diplomat", Sten Goddert Wrede.:

Another nice scoop, Tom. It was in fact, this entire Liberty League contingent who were behind the FIRST president coup d'etat documented in "The Plot to Seize the White House." by Jules Archer. I have long contended that the JFK coup followed this same structure laid out by Draper's cronies in the 1930's. Liberty League became the Liberty Lobby and the rest is history. Draper used his J.P. Morgan trust account against both FDR and JFK and to fund the Mississippi Sovereignty Commission, too. Are you familiar with the saga of Maverick Marine Gen. Smedley Butler and company? By all means everyone should try to get a copy of The Plot to Seize the White House from abebooks.com

or elsewhere as well as Maverick Marine about Butler, who spilled the beans on the Liberty Leaguers plot against FDR.

At the JFK conference in Cambridge in the 1990's a journalist (a REAL journalist) described what she had discovered about this plot in the 1930's against FDR involving William Dudley Pelley from The pro-Nazi Silver Shirts who was GLK Smith's mentor and hero. So GLK Smith learned the business of presidential coups from one of the very best of the best and he carried out the plot against JFK.

This has to be written and placed into the public record for future generations to read. The forces of

evil will always influence the democratic process given enough money and enough truly dedicated and devoted miscreants with sinister intentions unless you learn from the past and prevent them from succeeding in the future.

"A democracy has no real way to deal with those of the likes of Rev. Gerald L K Smith and William Dudley Pelley." - author unknown

"When Fascism comes to America it will be under the guise of Patriotism while hiding behind the waving of the American flag." - Senator Huey Long, the first victim of Rev. Gerald L K Smith and Co.

So how many CIA, OSS, and foreign intelligence assets can we link to George DeMohrenschildt?

In 1967, Jim Garrison asked the DOJ, in question 12 in the memo at the following link; "Is there any CIA association with George de Mohrenschildt?"

Is it only a coincidence that CIA's Anikeeff arranged for de Mohrenschildt and Clemard Joseph Charles to meet with Clairborne Pell, a cousin of CIA "asset" Tom Devine's (aka Wubriny-1) financial firm partner, John Train? Claiborne Pell and Train were also cousins of the wife of one of the seven WC commissioners, Hale Boggs.

So how do you think Claiborne Pell fits into this entire JFK conundrum? Was he a deliberate and witting participant in the cover-up

or was he somehow involved in joining in with the likes of J. Strom Thurmond, John Tower, Barry Goldwater, Jesse Helms, James Eastland, et al in the actual plot to kill JFK? You are obviously implying that Senator Pell was involved somehow in this entire plot

in some sort of nefarious, fully complicit and/or conspiratorial manner. Would you care to elaborate? This should be rich if you have

the guts to respond. How does Pell's wife's relationship to Hale Boggs figure into this entire picture? Are you implying that she used

her influence to get Boggs to do something illegal or immoral or unethical or that her familial relationship to a member of the Warren

Commission somehow taints her with guilt by association? Tom, you are stooping pretty low here, I hope you realize this. Do you know how close the Pells were (and still are) to the Kennedys and how physically and emotionally distraught they were about his death? Do you know about the Bouvier and the Auchincloss families from Rhode Island and how close Jackie was to George deMohrenshildt as a child? She used to call him "Uncle George", in fact while bouncing on his knee in Newport. Can you be totally oblivious to how preposterous your statements and your implied claims actually are? Do you know how distraught George was about how how his association with Oswald made him look like an insensitive, callous and vindictive agent contributing indirectly or directly to the misery and suffering of Jackie Kennedy? And you call this "research?" I call this clueless, feckless, careless and callous beyond belief. You gotta get out of the house more, dude.
