Of course, the real place to go would be the old office suites of H.L. Hunt and Clint Murchison. Absolutely go to the Sixth Floor Museum, take the tour, laugh at the implied lone nutter propaganda, then go down onto the Grassy Knoll and say hello to Robert Groden. If someone could post the contact info for the JFK tours it would be nice. Or you could email Deborah Conway at JFKLancer and she will tell you. The tours usually take you to Oswald's various homes, past Jack Ruby's apartment, to the scene of the Tippit slaying, to the Dallas police station where Oswald was killed. You might want to eat at Campisi's: http://campisis.us/ One of the most valuable things you can do is to get someone experience to walk you around Dealey Plaza and learn all the details there: such as where Ed Lansdale was photographed, were James Tague was almost him, where everyone was standing, where "Dark Complected Man" was, etc. I just found the link for the tours: http://dealey.org/tours00.htm Both Jerry Dealy and Ken Holmes have taken me on tours and they were excellent. Stay at the St. Lawrence, but be sure to take a visit to the Adolphus, that is where JFK Lancer is held and also LBJ used to see his girlfriends there. Adolphus is a legendary hotel in Dallas. Also a trip out to the Paine home in Irving would be interesting. Be sure to allow more time than you think necessary for the window next to the "sniper's nest" and for exploring the plaza. There is so much to do in Dallas without wasting your time at a location of lies and whose owners plan to take over Dealey Plaza on the 50th anniversary and drown out dissenting voices. Often they reveal truth by what they say and what they don't say. Once you get up on the 6th floor you immediately see how ridiculous it is for one sniper to 1) not shoot at JFK at the Houston/Elm turn 2) shoot through a live oak tree when the first shots occur 3) supposedly hit JFK in the head from 88 yards behind just as the limo is about to go out of shooting range. Robert Newell Posted March 26, 2012 Share Posted March 26, 2012 Hi John..If you can-take the tour with Ken or Jerry. I did in 2010 and went to the Paine's, Parkland, Trade Mart, N. Beckly, tenth and Patton..well you get the idea. I think Jerry has recently said that if you contact the DPD days before hand you can arrange to visit the police basement. If you hit it at the right time you may be able to donate 5-10 bucks and get into the rooming house. I stayed at the Lawrence and it was great that it is right there. If you do take the tour be sure you end the day at Lee Harvey's with Ken/Jerry. Most of all relax and have a great time.....Robert Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

When in the cellar, see if you can see where the sewer outlet is. Ditto the TSBD basement. Measure the size of the bricks on the sixth floor as well as an average for the mortar joints.
