Despite your source's claim to the contrary there is no evidence the drill was anything more than a "tabletop exercise" in fact there is no evidence it took place other than Powers' comments. Which raise an obvious question only a crank could miss if he were part of a conspiracy why would he blab about this to anyone who'd listen?

Thanks for pointing out the BBC program it could be that both Power and the terrorists used it as a model. You finally sank the silly speculation about the odds. You deserve the Andreas Escobar Own Goal Award.

7/7 was the greatest crime on UK soil, but I would contend that 9/11 was the crime of the century, followed, of course, by the two illegal invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq!!

Regarding the crime of 7/7, Peter Power has stated on the BBC 'Editors' blog that the exercise he was conducting was for a publishing company Reed Elsevier (see http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/theeditors/2008/06/controversy_and_conspira cies_2.html#commentsanchor ). Of course, this is assuming that this comment was posted by the real Peter Power.

But why would a publishing company wish to run a 'terrorist' exercise?? If they were worried about the effects of disruption for their staff coming to work, wouldn't one do a transport strike, or power failure, especially as no Islamic terrorist attack had occurred before. I think that Power needs to explain more, and failure to do so can only fuel reasonable speculation as to his involvement in this.

Most mysterious, as indeed is everything surrounding these so called 'terrorist attacks'
