The Southern Kurdistan government in Iraq is seriously corrupt. It helps Turkey to put down the North Kurdistan guerillas and also does its best to thwart the Kurdish Liberation Movement. The US supports Turkey and the Southern Kurdistan government in Iraq.

The US created the conditions that nurtured the pol pot tlike ISIS. The most effective forces against ISIS are the North Kurdistan Liberation Armies. (same as the Viet Cong that liberated Kampuchea). For the US this is merely another attempt to control central asia by driving wedges between peoples that would benefit most from unity. Same old same old.

ŞIRNEX - As police attacks escalate in the Kurdish town of Cizre, Turkey, young women have founded an autonomous self-defense unit.

The town of Cizre, in Şırnak province of Northern Kurdistan (in Turkey), is no stranger to police violence. As the AKP continues pushing war on the region, police have launched raids and attacks in many province. The state's attacks have especially targeted women's bodies. Recently, police tortured the naked body of Kurdish guerrilla Kevser Eltürk (nom de guerre Ekin Wan). They then posed with her dead body and shared photographs on social media.

Now, the young women of Cizre have formed a self-defense team named for Ekin Wan. They have hung posters of Kurdish woman resistance fighters throughout the streets of Cizre. Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) founder Sakine Cansız's face now hangs over the streets. Fallen YPJ fighters who traveled to Rojava to fight in the revolution also appear on the posters.

The women announced that they have no ties with any organization. They said that they have autonomously founded the team "to stop the savagery waged on women's bodies in the person of Ekin Wan."

"The AKP government's answer to the resolution process started by Abdullah Öcalan, the leader of the Kurdish people, has been killings and imprisonment," said a young woman named Zelal. "And we understood that the state never approaches the Kurdish people with sincerity." She noted that the Turkish state has taken no steps in resolving the Kurdish issue. Instead, police have begun attacking civilians across the region.

"In Ekin Wan, we saw the state's rage against women," said Zelal. "So we founded a young women's team." The women have armed themselves and plan to defend themselves and their neighborhoods.

AMED - 14-year-old Berfin Ökten, who was shot by a Turkish state sniper in the Kurdish town of Silopi, is fighting for her life in hospital.

On August 31, Berfin Ökten was sleeping on the roof to escape the summer heat with her mother. Recently, police had assassinated three young men in their town of Silopi. Tensions were high in the town and state forces had posted snipers on roofs throughout the town. That night, one of those snipers shot Berfin and her mother.

Berfin lost her mother in the attack and was rushed to the hospital with a bullet wound to her shoulder. Berfin is currently in the ICU in the Dicle University Hospital in the Kurdish city of Diyarbakır. Doctors report that Berfin's condition has stabilized, but that she is still in danger of losing her life.

NEWS CENTER - A Palestinian woman has called for justice for a Turkish soldier who raped her as she tried to cross the Syrian-Turkish border.

On August 22, L.B. tried to cross the Syrian-Turkish border along with her father and brother. She has told Sputnik News that she was raped at the border in the village of Güveççi, located in the Hatay province of Turkey. Soldiers raped L.B. and tortured her father and brother, then sent the family back to Syria. The family has now returned to Turkey to file charges. "I want the soldier who raped me to be charged so that what happened to me doesn't happen to anyone else," said L.B. L.B. said that the incident had left her severely psychologically effected.

"I wanted to cross to Turkey with my children in order to escape the war in Syria," L.B.'s father, A.B., said in his testimony to the court. "Two meters after we had crossed the border fence in the Güveççi village along with others, a soldier controlling the crossing suddenly shouted at me and violently pulled me by my collar." The soldier brutalized the man, who tripped and fell into a trench with his daughter. The soldier descended into the trench and punched A.B. A.B. then passed out.

When A.B. woke up, his daughter was gone. He began to walk, but ran into Turkish soldiers. After they forced him to the ground and searched him, then violently forced him across the border. There, A.B. found his children. His daughter related that a Turkish soldier had raped her.

The family are currently staying with relatives in Turkey's Hatay province as the investigation continues.

MÊRDÎN - A Turkish military commander, notorious for the rapes and killings of civilians that took place under his watch in Kurdistan, has now been promoted and reassigned to the region. Women survivors of Musa's rule say they hope that one day he will be tried.

Turkish military officer Musa Çitil became notorious for the extrajudicial assassinations, rapes and sexual harassment that his soldiers perpetrated under his command in Northern Kurdistan (in Turkey) during the 1990s. Victims and survivors brought several legal suits against Musa, but Turkish courts let him go free in a legal process criticized by the European Court of Human Rights. Now, military officials have promoted Musa to major general and reassigned him to Kurdistan. He will serve as the regional commander in the largely Kurdish province of Diyarbakır.

Musa's most notorious crimes took place when he was in charge of the regional military police command in the Dêrik region of Mardin province. In 1993, 13 residents of a local village were assassinated in the area under his command. In 1993 and 1994, his soldiers repeatedly arrested and raped a local woman, who eventually came forward. However, the charges were dropped. JINHA spoke with women in the Dêrik region about what they experienced.

40-year-old Hediye Çeviren recalled the day in 1993 when soldiers raided their village of Xîrar. Soldiers killed Hediye's husband, father, brother-in-law, sister-in-law and father-in-law. They then destroyed the house using explosives and arrested the remainder of the household.

"Musa Çitil was the captain for Dêrik at the time. He was the one who carried out this massacre," said Hediye. "They brutally killed our husbands and children; then they said 'we killed terrorists.'" Musa was acquitted of ordering the massacre.

"As if it wasn't enough, they made him the regional commander for Diyarbakır," said Hediye. "We wanted to see these people tried. We were expecting to see them punished and removed from their posts, but instead they promoted them and made them responsible for the region." Hediye said that she did not want to see her remaining children, who grew up fatherless since that day, live in fear of also being killed by Musa Çitil.

Fatma Erek, 42, described the day that soldiers raided the village. They took her husband away. For hours, she waited for news from him, but soldiers refused to say where they had taken them. Fatma had recently given birth to her third child. The next morning, she got the news that her husband had been killed.

"The world fell down around me. I had no idea what me and my three children would do," said Fatma. Soldiers refused to surrender the bodies of her husband and the two other family members killed that day.

Fatma said that she was devastated by the news that Musa Çitil had been reassigned to the region. "But we will fight until Musa Çitil is tried. Sooner or later, those who persecute us in our own land will be tried."

Fatma Çeviren, 80, said that the soldiers took away her son that day. Then, the soldiers then forced her to lie down in the snow. She never saw him again. Soldiers killed several of her children.

"I went to identify my children and I couldn't recognize them," she said. "I hope that those who put us through this pain will go before a court one day and be tried."

ŞIRNEX – With the nine-day blockade of the Kurdish town of Cizre, Turkey lifted, delegations of human rights organizations and activists have begun to enter the town.

Turkish security forces maintained a 24-hour curfew on the town of Cizre, Turkey from September 4 until this morning, leading to the deaths of at least 21 civilians. Police blocked ambulance access to Cizre’s neighborhoods and shot civilians who left their homes. In response, groups of politicians, activists and thousands of ordinary citizens marched towards Cizre across the rough mountain terrain, demanding that the curfew be lifted. Today at 7 a.m., the popular resistance succeeded and the Turkish state lifted the curfew.

Delegations are now beginning to pour into Cizre, hoping to tend to the town’s wounds. Peoples’ Democratic Party co-chair Figen Yüksekdağ and a convoy of Parliamentary representatives, women’s and Kurdish rights activists, human rights workers and lawyers reached Cizre this morning after being kept out by police barricades for days.
The people of Cizre took to their balconies to applaud the incoming convoy, chanting “murderer Erdoğan” (referring to Turkey’s president). Thousands poured into the streets this morning in protest of the killings after a 75-year-old man was killed last night and a small child was wounded in an explosion this morning.

A 60-person delegation of medical workers and social workers have now set out for Cizre to provide volunteer medical services to the town. The anti-war activists of Diyarbakır’s Peace Mothers Assembly; musical groups; and the Human Rights Association and Human Rights Foundation of Turkey are among the many other groups also sending delegations to Cizre today.

*ŞIRNEX – After curfew on Cizîra Botan was lifted by the Turkish governor, the special forces of the Turkish army and police are leaving the region so that the delegates coming from various regions do not recognize them. For that, the village of Huser near the Şerafettin Elçi Airport is surrounded by the army and police to prevent citizens and delegations come to that region.

300 police and army officers of the Turkish special forces are withdrawing from Cizîra Botan where they killed dozens of civilians. The murderers now are leaving the region under supervision of the local Turkish armed forces.

Speaking in Cizre today following the lifting of the curfew which remained in effect since September 4, HDP co-chair Selahattin Demirtaş saluted the resistance of the people and called for a recommencement of the negotiations with Kurdish people’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan. He stressed that “If we can ensure a unity of people, they cannot continue this cruelty even for a day”.

A delegation of DTK, HDP and DBP, composed of HDP co-chairs Selahattin Demirtaş and Figen Yüksekdağ, DTK co-chairs Selma Irmak and Hatip Dicle, HDP deputies and representatives of various NGOs have this morning entered Cizre district of Şırnak and met people after days long curfew in the town was lifted.

The delegation was welcomed by thousands chanting slogans “Long Live resistance of Cizre”, “Long Live Leader Apo”, while HDP co-chair Demirtaş and DTK co-chair Irmak held speeches addressing to the people in front of the HDP office in the town.

IRMAK: THEY HAVE BEEN FRUSTRATED

Drawing attention to the resistance of Cizre people against tanks and mortar fires, Irmak saluted the women, youths, elderly and mothers who all turned Cizre into a land of freedom and added that the state forces were disappointed in the face of strong resistance waged by the people.

DEMİRTAŞ: WE SALUTE THE HONORABLE RESISTANCE

Speaking after, HDP co-chair Selahattin Demirtaş called upon the people with conscience to go to Cizre and see what has taken place there. He added that the AKP held 120 thousand people hostage for 10 days, while the people of Cizre, however, responded to attacks with strong resistance.

Demirtaş said all the governments coming to power, all the presidents, prime ministers and chiefs of the military have imposed massacre policies on Kurdish people who still continued to shout out peace despite all the repressions and cruelties, and despite being labeled as “terrorists”. “This is why Ankara is afraid of you” said Demirtaş, adding that the state thought it could make people surrender by tanks and mortars and solve the Kurdish solution by bombing the houses as it has always tried to do.

HDP Co-chair stressed that the people of Cizre have declared their demand to govern themselves and wanted to live a dignified life with their religion and culture.

“If you have any respect to the will of the people, then you will sit down and speak with the leader of these people, you will negotiate, listen to people instead of using tanks and mortars and do whatever must be done for peace and resolution”, he said.

CALL FOR UNITY

Demirtaş went on calling on all the peoples of Turkey to unite against war and cruelty, saying “If we can ensure unity, they cannot continue this cruelty even for a single day”.

Demirtaş further criticized the denial of people's will through the removal of Cizre co-mayor Leyla İmret from her post, who has always been among the people and served them. He added that those who have done this will give an account for it both judicially and politically.

'NO NEED TO ASSIGN GOVERNORS, PEOPLE CAN RULE THEMSELVES'

Demirtaş said it was rather the governor of Şırnak that must be removed from his post, and added that there was no need to assign governors from Ankara as people can govern themselves.

“These people can elect their own administrators, solve their problems, including economical, by themselves, live with their own solutions and culture”, he stressed.

'AKP’S PERSECUTION WILL END'

Demirtaş underlined that it was now time to heal the wounds of Cizre people in unity without being afraid of those who attacked the people with tanks and mortars.

Remarking that co-mayors and deputies will be together with the people, Demirtaş further said while healing the wounds they will also continue to ask the account of what has been done to people through judicial and political ways. HDP Co-chair stressed that the all those responsible will give an account of this cruelty, adding; “The AKP’s persecution will end”, said Demirtaş.

Following the speeches, the delegation started its work to assess the situation in the town.

People of Amed will march from Dağkapı to the central Sur district today noon to break the blockade by Turkish forces going on for one day.

While the curfew in Amed's Sur district continues since yesterday, the people will stage a march to the district today to break the ban and blockade by state forces. The mass will gather at Şêx Said Square in Dağ Kapı and also be joined by deputies and co-mayors of the city, as well as representatives of DBP (Party of Democratic Regions), HDP (Peoples' Democratic Party) and many NGOs.

In the meantime, DBP has called for strong participation in the march to Sur to not leave the people alone and to break the siege of Turkish state forces in the area.

Putin: Friend or Foe in Syria?

What Vladimir Putin is up to in Syria makes far more sense than what Barack Obama and John Kerry appear to be up to in Syria.

The Russians are flying transports bringing tanks and troops to an air base near the coastal city of Latakia to create a supply chain to provide a steady flow of weapons and munitions to the Syrian army.

Syrian President Bashar Assad, an ally of Russia, has lost half his country to ISIS and the Nusra Front, a branch of al-Qaida.

Putin fears that if Assad falls, Russia’s toehold in Syria and the Mediterranean will be lost, ISIS and al-Qaida will be in Damascus, and Islamic terrorism will have achieved its greatest victory.

Is he wrong?

Winston Churchill famously said in 1939: "I cannot forecast to you the action of Russia. It is a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma; but perhaps there is a key. That key is Russian national interest."

Exactly. Putin is looking out for Russian national interests.

And who do we Americans think will wind up in Damascus if Assad falls? A collapse of that regime, not out of the question, would result in a terrorist takeover, the massacre of thousands of Alawite Shiites and Syrian Christians, and the flight of millions more refugees into Jordan, Lebanon and Turkey – and thence on to Europe.

Putin wants to prevent that. Don’t we?

Why then are we spurning his offer to work with us?

Are we still so miffed that when we helped to dump over the pro-Russian regime in Kiev, Putin countered by annexing Crimea?

Get over it.

Understandably, there is going to be friction between the two greatest military powers. Yet both of us have a vital interest in avoiding war with each other and a critical interest in seeing ISIS degraded and defeated.

And if we consult those interests rather than respond to a reflexive Russophobia that passes for thought in the think tanks, we should be able to see our way clear to collaborate in Syria.

Indeed, the problem in Syria is not so much with the Russians – or Iran, Hezbollah and Assad, all of whom see the Syrian civil war correctly as a fight to the finish against Sunni jihadis.

Our problem has been that we have let our friends – the Turks, Israelis, Saudis and Gulf Arabs – convince us that no victory over ISIS can be achieved unless and until we bring down Assad.

Once we get rid of Assad, they tell us, a grand U.S.-led coalition of Arabs and Turks can form up and march in to dispatch ISIS.

This is neocon nonsense.

Those giving us this advice are the same "cakewalk war" crowd who told us how Iraq would become a democratic model for the Middle East once Saddam Hussein was overthrown and how Moammar Gadhafi’s demise would mean the rise of a pro-Western Libya.

When have these people ever been right?

What is the brutal reality in this Syrian civil war, which has cost 250,000 lives and made refugees of half the population, with 4 million having fled the country?

After four years of sectarian and ethnic slaughter, Syria will most likely never again be reconstituted along the century-old map lines of Sykes-Picot. Partition appears inevitable.

And though Assad may survive for a time, his family’s days of ruling Syria are coming to a close.

Yet it is in America’s interest not to have Assad fall – if his fall means the demoralization and collapse of his army, leaving no strong military force standing between ISIS and Damascus.

Indeed, if Assad falls now, the beneficiary is not going to be those pro-American rebels who have defected or been routed every time they have seen combat and who are now virtually extinct.

The victors will be ISIS and the Nusra Front, which control most of Syria between the Kurds in the northeast and the Assad regime in the southwest.

Syria could swiftly become a strategic base camp and sanctuary of the Islamic State from which to pursue the battle for Baghdad, plot strikes against America and launch terror attacks across the region and around the world.

Prediction: If Assad falls and ISIS rises in Damascus, a clamor will come – and not only from the Lindsey Grahams and John McCains – to send a U.S. army to invade and drive ISIS out, while the neocons go scrounging around to find a Syrian Ahmed Chalabi in northern Virginia.

Then this nation will be convulsed in a great war debate over whether to send that U.S. army to invade Syria and destroy ISIS.

And while our Middle Eastern and European allies sit on the sidelines and cheer on the American intervention, this country will face an antiwar movement the likes of which have not been seen since Col. Lindbergh spoke for America First.

In making ISIS, not Assad, public enemy No. 1, Putin has it right.

It is we Americans who are the mystery inside an enigma now.

YPG Commander: Turkey has sent two trucks of weapons to gang groups

Gangs affiliated to Al-Nusra, Ahrar Al-Sham and Nureddin Zenki have intensified their attacks on the YPG/YPJ-held Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood of Aleppo for the last one week. The attacks have left two civilians dead, one of them a child, and 15 others wounded.

YPG Aleppo General Commander Rezan Rojhat answered ANF's questions about the reason why the attacks have intensified, the current situation in the neighborhood and the role of the Turkish state in these attacks.

YPG Commander stated that attacks on Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood have increased in line with the “buffer zone” plan of the Turkish state which -he said- has sent munitions to the gang groups several days ago. Rezan Rojhat remarked that Al-Nusra gangs have deployed all their forces around the neighborhood and are now preparing for a more extensive assault within the coming days.

What is the dimension of the clashes between YPG and gang groups in Aleppo? Do they constitute a part of the routine conflict or is there a particular case in question?

The gangs had already encircled and harassed the region for the past several months. Al-Nusra and Ahrar Al-Sham had already blocked the roads and hindering access. Their attacks have restarted one week ago with the recent debate of a “buffer zone”. They are mainly conducting mortar attacks and clashes have taken place partially. For the last one week, they are dispatching their forces and heavy weapons in all other emplacements to this area. All these preparations point to their plan for a more extensive assault within the coming days. They are also trying to provoke the Arab people against us by means of the press.

To make it more clear; have attacks restarted in line with Turkey's occupation plan under the name of buffer zone?

Right. This buffer zone also involves a part of the Aleppo city. It is quite explicit that these attacks are related to this plan. The gang groups first cut the connection with Efrîn, then deployed their forces around here. They blocked the entrance-exit points of the neighborhood and arrested many people at their checkpoints.

Where exactly does the Turkish state stand in this plan?

The Turkish state has formed an alliance with Al-Nusra ad Ahrar Al-Sham through the Sultan Murat and Sultan Fatih brigades they formed from Turkmens. We identified munitions sent to them by Turkey several days ago.

Could you detail this point?

Turkey sent two trucks of ammunition to the Aleppo side and delivered them to the areas of Al-Sakur and Huluk held by Al-Nusra. The Turkish state recently manifests an approach like “We will continue providing support if you unite against YPG, but you cannot receive this help if you take up a different position”. We cannot talk about a presence of the Free Syrian Army in Aleppo where there are fronts entirely held by Islamist groups such as Al-Nusra, Ahrar Al-Sham and Nureddin Zenki. Apart from them, there are Turkmen groups.

Are there occurring clashes between YPG and Turkmen brigades in Aleppo?

I would primarily like to point out that YPG has no trouble with any folk, and this includes Turkmens. YPG involves Arab, Turkmen and Christian fighters and we have no problems with them. Besides, Kurds, Arabs and Turkmens live together in Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood. We are engaged in a conflict with the armed forces affiliated with the Turkish state and those it supports, such as the Sultan Murat Brigade. Clashes have taken place for some one week now, and the gangs are kind of making a rehearsal. Before that, they had blocked our roads leading to from Aleppo to Efrîn. For the past two days, the gangs joined by Turkmens are directing attacks on our neighborhood with the technical and military support they receive from Turkey. In short, we were not engaged in a conflict with Turkmens so far but we are clashing with them for the last one week.

Do the gangs aim to empty the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood?

True. Sheikh Maqsoud is an area where people feel safe and live together. This is what the gangs want to disturb and spoil. They want to evacuate and isolate the neighborhood. This is the policy they pursue in their currently ongoing attacks. The people's trust in YPG strengthens its basis of existence. We gave the people a confidence the gangs couldn't.

How do these attacks influence the people?

Attacks have left two civilians dead, one of whom was a child, and 15 others wounded. Yet, people remain in the neighborhood and do not mean to leave it as they have a close relation with the YPG and want to take part at the battle front. The people will not surrender to these policies.

Is there anything you would like to add?

Some recent media reports claim that YPG forces have blocked the road leading to Aleppo. There is no such a thing. We have no trouble with the civilian people and we are doing our best to make sure they sustain no harm. It is not us but the presence of the gangs that block the road. We have not made any attempts against that road for 4-5 years now. The only road leading to Aleppo is being blocked by the attacks of the gangs.

I'm logging this statemnent because I think it is very important and that time will show it to be so. I stated at the beginning of my logging the Kurdish fight against IS in this thread that ultimnately how the Kurdish people are dealt with by groupings will show the intent by them. So far the US has conspired with Turkey to weaken the Northern Kurds who as yet by the few accounts are holding their own in spite of the direct and indirect assistance the IS is getting from the US and Turkey.

"Claims that these massacres have been perpetrated by ISIS or some other organizations would mean ignoring the AKP's mindset, policies and practices, and distorting the truths. The fact that these massacres target the societal circles which the AKP point as a target, also reveal who actually are behind them. By using the names of some organizations as a mask, the AKP government wants to eliminate all the opposition circles one by one."

Pointing to the undemocratic character of the AKP and its lack of a sense to respect and accept the results of elections, KCK emphasized that the AKP regards any method or practice as allowable in order not to leave the power. "This massacre must be seen as a conspiracy conducted by the AKP government to remain in power, and a kind similar to the massacre it perpetrated before the June 7 election after seeing that it was going to lose the election", KCK said.

KCK said it was also meaningful that this massacre took place on the very same day when the Kurdish movement declared inaction to ensure the security of elections and disallow AKP to turn the election process to its own favour through repression.

According to KCK, this massacre has also revealed that the AKP government wants to hold the elections in a conflict environment and continue its ruling on this basis. The statement said; "AKP has resorted to such a massacre after foreseeing that it will lose this election as well in the event of holding it under normal circumstances. In consideration of the link between these massacres and the elections, it also exposes itself who the perpetrator is, which is undoubtedly nobody else other than Erdoğan and his counter-guerrilla team, it is the Gladio of the Palace."

KCK said it has been primarily the AKP government and the Gladio of the Palace to become restive after the most recent debates hinting that the Kurdish movement would declare an inactive position. According to KCK, Yalçın Akdoğan, a part of the Palace's Gladio, revealed their mindset and intention by saying that 'this cannot fool us'. KCK underlined that objection to the ending of the conflict for the security of the elections laid the true face of the AKP government bare.

The statement pointed out that the now-illegitimate AKP government has started a war and now wanted it to continue in order to maintain its ruling over the country.

Dozens of gang members who get wounded in the ongoing Russian airstrikes against Aleppo, Hama, Humus, Damascus and İdlib cities of Syria are brought to hospitals in Antep and Kilis for treatment. According to reports by local sources, the gangs are transported to state hospitals in ambulances escorted by Turkish police and soldiers.

Russian airstrikes against ISIS, Al-Nusra, Ahrar u-Sham and other gang groups disturb Turkey and some other countries including the U.S., Saudi Arabia and Qatar. Differently from the airstrikes conducted by the U.S. and coalition forces, Russia hits the Al-Nusra, Ahrar u-Sham , Sham Front and other gang organizations deployed around Aleppo, Hama, Humus, Damascus and İdlib.

In parallel with the reports that a number of gangs members are now crossing into Turkey due to the ongoing offensives by Russia, reports are coming through that many gangs are being brought to hospitals in Turkey for treatment after getting wounded in the bombardments.

HOSPITALS IN KİLİS FULL WITH WOUNDED GANG MEMBERS

Hundreds of militants affiliated to mainly ISIS and Al-Nusra, to which Turkey has given full support since the beginning of the civil war in Syria in 2012, are also being provided treatment in Turkish hospitals, mainly in Urfa and Antep provinces.

A health staff member in Antep, to which the largest number of wounded gangs are brought recently, provided significant details to Dicle News Agency (DİHA).

The health worker with initials M.D. informed that a large number of wounded gangs have been brought to hospitals in Antep and Kilis since the beginning of Russian airstrikes, especially during the last two weeks. M.D. pointed out that the gangs were brought to hospitals in Turkish ambulances, and voiced concerns among the local people over the increasing number of militants affiliated to inhuman and barbarian organizations notorious for savage crimes against humanity.

GANGS BROUGHT TO HOSPITALS UNDER CONTROL OF MİT

Noting that some gangs members are being brought to hospitals with their military stuff, M.D. said the healthcare staff have no security of life as gang members are being accompanied by Turkish police and soldiers.

"We witnessed same situations in the recent past and these would also be covered by the media but treatment of gangs in Turkish hospitals had relatively increased in the recent period. Yet, we are witnessing the same case these days since the beginning of airstrikes by other forces in Syria. Dozens of gang members have been brought to the hospital during the last two months. These are not ordinary people as they are sometimes brought by MİT (Turkish intelligence organization) members who would even check the rooms before the treatment of the gang members they accompany."

ARE THEY MEMBERS OF MİT?

Stating that the gang members that die in hospitals are taken back to the border, again in Turkish ambulances, M.D. said;" They are acting as if the hospital belonged to them. Those hit in the airstrikes are not ordinary people, nor newly recruited ones because they are accompanied by many other people. Faces of some are being covered while they enter and leave the hospital, which proves them to be senior persons. Such ones are being treated only by the health staff arranged by police."

In consideration of the fact that organizations such as Al-Nusra, Ahrar-u Sham and Sham Front are controlled by MİT which also has many members in the field in Syria, the concealment of the mentioned persons while entering and leaving the hospitals brings to mind the question whether they are members of the Turkish intelligence.

An ISIS member captured by YPG/YPJ during Tal Abyad operation told ANF about the cooperation between the Turkish state and ISIS.

The ISIS member M.H. from Syria, who is currently jailed in Rojava, made striking confessions regarding the talks between ISIS and MİT (Turkish intelligence organisation) at the border between Tal Abyad city of Rojava and Akçakale district of Urfa province in the Turkish territory. M.H. told that MİT provided them with arms at the border, and Turkish ambulances carried wounded ISIS members to hospitals.

Speaking to Fırat News Agency (ANF), M.H. stated that the passage between Raqqa and Urfa, and delivery of arms and munitions was conducted over Tal Abyad.

M.H. said his first contact with the gang groups occurred over his family's opposition to the ISIS, telling that he agreed to work with ISIS after he was captured and tortured by them, and was furthermore threatened that he himself and his family would be murdered in the event that he refused to cooperate with them.

It has emerged that the raw materials used to produce sarin gas, the use of which caused the death of thousands in Syria, was transported to Ahrar-ı Sham and Al-Nusra Front under the supervision of the Turkish state and within the knowledge of police and intelligence departments

Main opposition party CHP Istanbul deputies Erdem Eren and Ali Şeker shared at a press conference the details of a lawsuit brought by Adana High Criminal Court against 13 Al-Nusra members in 2013. While the lawsuit was then rapidly concluded with a decision of non-prosecution, the CHP deputies said the indictment prepared in the scope of the case constituted a proof of a war crime was committed within the boundaries of the Turkish Republic.

Despite the propaganda produced by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan that the chemical attacks in Syria were carried out by the Asad regime, it came out that the chemical materials used for the production of sarin gas were transferred to the gang groups in Syria from Turkey within the knowledge of the Turkish state.

KOBANI, Rojava (October 26, 2015) -- Turkish military’s attacks against positions secured by combatants of the People’s Defense Units (YPG) near the two border towns of Kobani and Tal Abyad – started on October 24 – continue to the moment.

Accordingly;

On October 25 between 22:00 and 23:00 in the west of the border city of Gire Spi (Tal Abyad), Kobani Canton, Turkish military – armed by A4 weapons – attacked the Defense Units’ protected locations.

Around 2 pm today, October 26, Turkish military this time has tried snipping attempts on the Defense Units’ border positions near the village of Zormaghar, western Kobani. During today’s violations committed by the Turkish Army no casualties were reported.

Simultaneously in the west and southern Kobani region, the Daesh (ISIS) terrorists are continuing to perform their week-old assaults by heavy weaponry.

Between 21:00-22:00 on October 25 and between 08:00 and 10:00 today, the Daesh terrorists launched a range of heavy attacks on the villages of Shikayf and Mirvah in the countryside of the town Sarrin, Kobani Canton.

Also today, between 03:00 and 04:00 a group of the Daesh terrorists who were positioned in the village of Hamam near the town Jarabulus targeted the village of Jade in western Kobani region with mortar fire. This attack that directly aimed at civilian population, fortunately, left no casualties behind.

Similarly in the village of Mikhara, Ain Issa, the Daesh attackers carried out another mortar attack between 14:00 and 15:00 in Kobani region.

As the Turkish state strengthens its assistance to Islamist groups in Syria, it came out that Turkey has sent ammunition to Al-Nusra from the Atme camp near the border of Efrîn.

According to the information obtained by ANHA (Hawar News Agency) from 'reliable sources', the Turkish state provided ammunition to Al-Nusra gangs on 2-3-4 November through the Atme camp in Cindirês district of Efrîn.

The ammunition, which includes anti-tank missiles, anti-aircraft missiles, a large number of munitions, light weapons and their bullets, is meant for Al-Nusra gangs in Aleppo.

On the other hand, activity of Turkish troops at the border between Efrîn and North Kurdistan, also continues. Most recently, Turkish soldiers have planted mines in Shadiya valley affiliated to Sorka village in Efrîn's Raco district.

In the meantime, it has been reported that the governor of Kilis went to the border point across the Azaz town on November 5. During the governor's visit to the region, militants of forces affiliated to the Syrian opposition were also seen in the border area.

On November 6, the governor of Hatay province also went to the border and visited Atme camp."

"Washington needs “boots on the ground” in Syria in addition to its air campaign against ISIS, which is not fruitful despite some progress. US Air Force secretary has admitted that “ground forces” is a must in order to “occupy” and “govern” parts of Syria.

In her comments, Secretary Deborah Lee James stressed the importance of the US-led air campaign, but admitted that airstrikes need to be backed by ground forces.

“Air power is extremely important. It can do a lot but it can't do everything,” James said, just two days after Secretary of Defense Ash Carter supported President Obama’s “willingness to do more” in terms of US troops on Syrian ground.

“Ultimately it cannot occupy territory and very importantly it cannot govern territory,” James told reporters at the Dubai Airshow. “This is where we need to have boots on the ground. We do need to have ground forces in this campaign.” ..."
