Notable for its absence in the corporate media is any mention of the July 17 downing of Malaysian Airlines Flight MH17 over Ukrainian territory, killing all 298 people on board.

At that time, and without any evidence, all U.S. and NATO officials immediately blamed Russia and the Ukrainian rebels in eastern Ukraine for shooting down the Boeing 777. They used this charge to whip the European Union into imposing sanctions on the Russian economy.

On Aug. 11, the Dutch Safety Board announced that a preliminary report would be published in a week with the first factual finding of the ongoing investigation into the flight that departed from Amsterdam and crashed in Ukraine. The Netherlands was given custody of the flight data recorder, or black box recordings, from the crash.

As of Aug. 25, the Dutch government has refused to release the recordings. (RIA Novosti, Aug. 25) This, of course, immediately raises suspicions that the Kiev junta forces were responsible for the crash.

Questions had already been raised of why the Kiev forces would have placed numerous BUK anti-aircraft batteries in the area when the rebels have no planes, why the Malaysian flight was diverted hundreds of miles by Kiev ground control over the battle zone, and why Kiev air traffic control data and radar data of the flight have still not been made ­public.

Did the Ukrainian military shoot down the passenger plane simply to create a provocation that could be turned against the rebels in east Ukraine and Russia?

Demands for an independent inquiry into the crash are growing. One petition raises the danger of the U.S. expansion of NATO and military encirclement of Russia and posed the possibility that Flight MH17’s crash resulted from an attempt to assassinate Russian President Vladimir Putin, whose aircraft was returning from South America the same day.

The media’s silence now and the absence of U.S. officials providing any concrete evidence in over a month from their own spy satellites or radar add fuel to the growing questions and deep suspicions of the Kiev coup regime’s role in the crash and the growing danger of U.S./NATO military expansion.

Western News-Suppression about the Downing of MH-17 Malaysian Jet

Furthermore, Global Research posted on September 10th a transcript of it, headlining, “Deleted BBC Report. ‘Ukrainian Fighter Jet Shot Down MHI7’, Donetsk Eyewitnesses.” So, this valuable eyewitness-testimony to the event is available despite Western ‘news’ media (or propaganda-media), and the reason for the news-suppression is clear from anyone who views that BBC report, which presents several eyewitnesses, all of whom were interviewed separately as individuals, not as a group, and yet all of whose testimonies report having observed the very same basic narrative, of at least one military jet rising toward the airliner just before it came down. In other words: BBC had yanked this piece because it didn’t confirm the West’s story-line, which says that Ukrainian pro-Russian separatists fired a “Buk” ground-based missile at the airliner, thinking that the civilian plane was a Ukrainian Government war-plane about to bomb them and their families. But, first of all, the Ukrainian Government was virtually admitting there that they were bombing these villagers, which means that they were perpetrating an ethnic cleansing there, which indeed that Government was doing; but, secondly, the Ukrainian Government’s statement also acknowledged that if the event had happened in that way, it would have been unintentional, a tragic accident on the part of the rebels there. So, then, why did “the international community” respond with massive economic sanctions against Russia on account of this downing? The whole Western propaganda position was designed for a public of sheer fools, if not of outright psychopathic ones, who cared not a bit about the plights of the victims of an ethnic-cleansing campaign. The West’s basic storyline doesn’t make sense without recognizing that we are financing ethnic cleansing to clear the land in southeastern Ukraine, and that any support that Russia would be providing to those separatists would be defensive in nature, not offensive. Yet Russia gets the blame when this passenger jet goes down? In any case, that storyline is false, from start to finish.

Here is how outright ludicrous it actually is, and sound reason in itself that anyone in the military had to have known, from the very get-go, that the “Buk” ‘explanation’ was a line of pure malarkey:

So, when even the BBC’s reporter wasn’t able to find anyone in that entire region who recounts having seen anything of the sort,( missile trail,GAAL) just how likely would the Ukrainian Government’s line on that matter actually be? Obviously, any person with any military knowledge whatsoever had to have recognized virtually immediately that the Ukrainian Government’s story-line on the MH-17 downing was a pile of sheer malarkey, but did anyone in the Western ‘news’ media report that it was — that the Western line there was not just a lie, but an absurd one, one that requires an ignorant public in order for it to be able to be taken seriously at all by the public? One that requires an ignorant public, to remain ignorant? This is supposed to be the Western ‘news’ media, with a free press, and a democracy, a truthfully informed citizenry, who can vote based upon truths, not on mere lies?

Only 2 mentioned the military plane they did not say it was Ukrainian or that it was a fighter.

Civil conflict in the area prevented international experts from conducting a full and thorough investigation. The wreckage should have been collected and scrupulously re-assembled to identify all the damage, but this standard investigative procedure was never carried out. Until that’s done, evidence can only be gleaned from pictures of the debris, the flight recorders or black boxes and eye-witnesses’ testimonies. 2:15 – eyewitness declaring that after the crash a plane was flying away.

8:01 – another eyewitness reporting about another plane and shooting (‘2 pops’) and a big explosion.

8:27 – ‘a small military aircraft in the sky with silver underside’… I’m 100% sure there was another aircraft.

11:50 – Haisenko says that several sources have updated their data and reduced the maximum flight altitude of a SU-25 substantially downwards. 14,600 meters should be possible.

12:07 – Russian air force commander-in-chief (Vladimir Mikhailov) testifies that a SU-25 can quickly climb to an altitude of 9200-9600 meters and stay there for half an hour, provided the pilot has an oxygen mask. Mikhailov says that he personally flew at that altitude. He says that an SU-25 could have downed the MH17 with an air-2-air missile or using its weapon.

13:15 – The armaments and 30 mm gun in particular of a SU-25 (NATO: frog-foot) are shown in detail. Fire range 300-2000 m. Russian air force carries out a test attack against old scrap planes.

Several of the locals there told Russian TV’s reporter that they had seen a military jet rise toward the airliner; and not a one of these individuals were any of the same ones who had testified the exact same thing to the BBC’s reporter, whose news-piece had been squelched by her managers.

Putin to Australian PM: Russia Hopes All MH17 Crash Data Will Go Public (CLICK LINK)

Russian President Vladimir Putin in conversation with Australian PM Tony Abbott said he hopes all information about the crash of the Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 in eastern Ukraine will be made public, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told RIA Novosti.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Putin is saying this with absolute certainty, because when the whole truth comes out, the world will learn that it was Ukrainian military which shot this plane out of the sky, and not Russia.

In confronting Putin in such an accusatory manner, the Australian PM Abbott looked more like the "Abbott" from the US's comedy series, "Abbott and Costello"; unfortunately, this is not funny, given the horrific reality of the situation. Abbott was simply "carrying the US's water" with this.

We are seeing a growing demonization of Russia, potentially ahead of a war between Russia and NATO, and I, for one, am not buying it.

Len, Sputnik International is the renamed (as of Nov 10) english edition of RIA Novosty, not obscure. Abbot is a moral midget (compared to for example Gough) pushing the imperialist line. Anything from him must be considered in that context. Afa I know, the report 'everyone' is waiting for won't be ready for some time, perhaps a year.

Russia produce radar data which 'proves' military aircraft was flying close to MH17 when it was shot down above Ukraine (CLICK LINK)

Russia today produced 'evidence' that it claims shows at least one military aircraft was flying close to Flight MH17 when it was shot down, killing all 298 on board.

Data from air traffic controllers in Rostov-on-Don, leaked to a Moscow newspaper, appears to show an unidentified object flying at the time of the crash on 17 July and remaining in the area for 20 minutes after the crash.

Russian military experts have previously claimed a Ukrainian war plane shot down the Malaysia Airline flight, but it has taken 119 days for sources to produce the 'proof'.

Naturally one would like to see a full resolution image which this 'screengrab' seems to indicate exists. Could be we're witnessing a real time conspiracy unfolding that cannot be ignored. We'll see how this plays out.

Dutch investigators have begun evacuating debris of Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 from the crash site in eastern Ukraine. Human rights activists are addressing the UN and OSCE, warning the investigation is being either delayed on purpose or suppressed.

More human remains have been recovered by experts during the latest debris retrieval operation at the crash site, the Dutch government reported. The remains will be transported to the Ukrainian city of Kharkov for further examination, before being sent to the Netherlands as part of the investigation.

Estimated to last from five to 10 days, the recovery is partial, as investigators have opted to mark only those pieces of debris they are interested in, leaving the rest behind. The works are being supervised by the Dutch Safety Board investigators and observed by the OSCE.

Local emergency workers of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) are using cranes to load up large fragments of the Boeing 777 on trucks to take them to the nearby Torez railway station, where the debris is unloaded on to the platforms. After the wreckage is shipped to the Netherlands through Kharkov, the fragments will reconstruct parts of the Boeing in order to find out what kind of weapon caused the catastrophe.

A detailed analysis of the crashed Boeing debris could help establish how exactly the plane was brought down.

Authorities of the village of Grabovo, near which the debris fell, have already handed a number of personal items to investigators, including passports and credit cards retrieved by the locals.

MOSCOW, November 17. /TASS/. Russia insists that the United States provide satellite photographs made at the moment of the recent Malaysian Boeing-777’s death for investigation, the Russian Federation’s permanent representative to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Andrey Kelin said Monday.

You wouldn't fire from abeam; missile are normally fired from astern the target so the IR seeker has the best chance of tracking the target and the geometry of the shot means the best chance of interception.

Presumably theat refers to fighter tactics. In what way does that apply to an unarmed steady trajectory large transport plane? Afa i can gather a suggestion is that the pilot (polish) of the mig-29 (ukrainian) followed up with a cannon strafe which (presumably) is optimised with an abeam approach. If so, what you write re this is not really relevant.?
