Have the two (or three?) men standing on the angled part of the overpass - on the far right of the Bell frame Robin posted - been identified?

I am not aware of their names.

David,

How does this (jibe?) (jive?) (what's the right word?) with what Ellis supposedly told a HSCA staff investigator - that he saw debris coming up from a nearby curb?

See p. 23 of Vol XII of the HSCA Report here:

https://www.maryferrell.org/showDoc.html?docId=84#relPageId=27&tab=page

The footnotes those statements are based on, are on page 31 of Vol. XII here:

https://www.maryferrell.org/showDoc.html?docId=84#relPageId=35&tab=page

and refer back to JFK Doc 013841.

That's funny. I was poking around and ran across something I posted 10 years ago asking if the HSCA documents were available online.

Guess not much has changed since then.

Someone told me a long time ago that that patch signified a policeman who had received CPR training. I don't know if that's true or not.

I've heard that too and that it was also "basic first aid" but I don't believe either. It's an almost a mirror image of the "stormfront" site logo. If it had been a red cross not a white cross I'd have different feelings but I'm not aware of any shortage of red thread back then.

Something bothers me about this picture. It looks like the motor cops are putting along at 25mph based on the lean and slight wheel turn Ellis shows. The limo must be doing 50 plus? If so it is less than 2 seconds behind the escort at approx 130 feet back.  By their statements they are fully aware they are rushing to Parkland at this point but are riding 3 abreast into a turn they should be rushing through. Lumpkin has his left hand in his lap! I swear Lumpkin and Ellis look like they are smiling. I would expect them to be falling into single file at 40+ mph and not riding with one hand. The slideshow is just that one photo, no need to click on it.

Is Dan Rather visible in this photo?
