Mathias Baumann Posted June 7, 2017 Share Posted June 7, 2017 (edited) Did Oswald speak Spanish? According to Nelson Delgado Oswald's Spanish was so good they were able to discuss Marxism together. This is corroborated by reports from New Orleans where Oswald supposedly conversed with people of Latin descent. However, Sylvia Odio says although the man she later identified as Oswald greeted her in Spanish he did not seem to be able to follow the conversation she had with her other two visitors. And according to Valery Kostikov Oswald told him he didn't speak Spanish. So what is true? And if Oswald indeed spoke Spanish, where did he learn it? Just from Nelson Delgado? As a professional language teacher I find that hard to believe. I don't think he could've taught him more than a few words or phrases.
