Greetings All, Some years ago someone came up with a film clip showing the person believed to be George HW Bush in Dealy Plaza on the day. This clip shows that it was NOT Bush in that still photo - Everyone was sure it's GHWB. I believe that clip was posted here on Edu Forum. Anyone know where it is?

"Flopped" is a standard photographic term in photofinishing where the negative is turned over in the enlarger, in other words negs are usually printed emulsion side down (to the paper) but FLOP is to place the neg in the carrier with the emulsion side UP, hence the image printed flipped. My freeware Irfanview image viewer/manipulator I noticed uses the term flip (vertical flip) - same thing. If the neg was printed flopped (flipped) then you would see the watch on the other side of the person.

happen to hear part of a live show on NPR this morning. They had former Pres Bill Clinton on He was asked two questions one on Roswell and the aliens and the other on JFK assassination. Clinton VERY quickly replied that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone, and The Warren Commission was correct. That drew great laughter from the audience.

Shouldn't the location of Dallas, the time of year, and the time of day as applied to the shadows in the picture give us somewhat of a time span of the taking of those photos?

Jesse Ventura's Conspiracy Theory is back for another season of 6 episodes. Last night they did Plum Island. Next week Area 51. They will be airing a "JFK" episode on Nov 12 at 10pm on TruTV. Ventura was again interviewed on Larry King just recently. Venture mentioned his JFK segment and stated that it includes "AUDIO, VISUAL AND WRITTEN CONFESSION". Interesting. Wonder if it will be something new or something covered before in research, of course with a new slant. If nothing else Jesse is certainly entertaining!

I have a theory on the tramps situation that I have pondered about for quite a long time. Just wondered what others' take on it is. Again I am ill prepared, but it's just an idea. Each of the three tramps seems to have been identified by many with at least two or more possibilities. Players or suspected players in the assassination plot. I have wondered that these three individuals, whoever their actual identity was were actually chosen and set up in that railroad car deliberately, just to be rounded up and herded down to the police station with an assured photo-op. Just to create controversy and chaos. We have those insisting that Hunt was involved and in Dallas that day. I believe it was 'High Treason' (have not had an opportunity to review that book since the 90's) that showed a photo of someone in Dealey that day which looked like Sturgis (perhaps taken from the Z or other film – just don't recall exactly). Sturgis may very well have been there in Dealey, and involved. Then perhaps they chose a Charles Rogers (or other) look-alike for the lead tramp, and so forth. Perhaps one of the tramps really was Chuck Harrelson, his role being only that of a ringer and a dodge! These chosen tramps may have known little about the operation other than what it was desired for them to do. Be discovered and herded to PD – and photographed. Or at minimum, just be assembled and then of course they were later discovered and herded in. This creates chaos and cover for their look-alikes that may really have been involved in the operation. Perhaps the three tramps really were who the official story revealed. They just looked like some key ops just to provide the opportunity to say “no – it certainly wasn't so and so – it was just so and so!” Chauncey Holt could very well have been one of them, planted to be displayed – a look-alike, his only real role in this thing. If this were so, perhaps the ego trips later on prompted those like Harrelson and Holt to submit some enhanced comments about their roles. Each could have been manipulated in some way and perhaps false reasons given for their assembly in that railroad car that day. Any thoughts? - Jerry Ellis

B.A., I am not really equipped to comment on some Bush factiods but wasn't it proved some time ago that the name of the ship Barbara was not named for Barbara Bush but for the Boat Captain's wife, I think under the former owner. I'm just bring this up because I think there are some facts around about Bush that linger on that we like to bring up may not be all that relevant. But personally I think that Bush did have something to do with the operation against JFK. Perhaps we are giving him more credit at this point for his role. at that point he probably had a vague idea of something going on and was doing little bits to help out and reinforce a name for him self. Only started to read "Family of Secrets" but I think the rise of Bush Sr. is much of an enigma in spite of all the research done on him. No question that he and his family, though, with all those South American operations that they have been in were support for the CIA. Just wonder if all that United Fruit and Chiquita banana stuff was an award to him for his efforts. Absolutely and eaaaaaaasy killer lol....we have more reason to believe than NOT in face of some evidence, that Bush WAS involved in the Assassination at least to SOME degree. Just as we have reason to believe based on some evidence, that he was IN the CIA BEFORE he became the Director in 76. We have MANY more reasons to believe he was involved and an operative far before he joined in 76. My god, they make him director, they then name the Bldg. after him later on, and why is he THAT important?...well my educated guess knowing the american political system, is that he did his part well and he (being a power broker himself) knows the right people) Also, Pat, what are you saying, that Bush may have known Right-Wing Cubans involved..? Wha..? How so? Bush doesn't "remember" where he was on that day, let alone the phone call he made....What evidence do you have to suggest Bush may have known possibly some of the Cubans involved? I believe at one time that Sirhan was actually placed under hypnosis. It was a long time ago. If I remember correctly the results were inconclusive. While I have long suspected there was a conspiracy behind RFK's murder, no conspiracy theory outside the Manchurian Candidate theory accounts for an "innocent" Sirhan's showing up at the Ambassador with a gun and his consciously firing shots. Do you believe that theory? I've tried and it just seems silly. Whether or not his shots killed Kennedy, Sirhan is guilty of murder. As long as he refuses to tell us the names of his co-conspirators, he deserves to rot in jail. Larry Teeter, in an attempt to get Sirhan a new trial, put together an argument that Sirhan's lawyer, the mob, and Nixon all conspired to put Sirhan away without getting his day in court. Pretty much everyone was guilty but poor lil' Sirhan, who only went to the Ambassador with a gun and repeatedly pulled its trigger. The only hope for Sirhan, IMO, is one raised by William Pepper at the 40th anniversary COPA conference. Put Sirhan under hypnosis and attempt to pry something new that will lead investigators elsewhere.
