Heartbreak

Jackie became pregnant in 1955 but miscarried. She became pregnant again in 1956. She was in her final trimester during the Democratic National Convention, at which Jack narrowly missed out on the vice presidential nomination. Angry and frustrated, Jack left to go sailing on the Mediterranean with his father and brother Ted, over Jackie's objections. She was eight months pregnant.

While Jack was gone, Jackie began hemorrhaging and was rushed to the hospital. She underwent an emergency cesarean section, but the baby, a daughter who would have been named Arabella, was stillborn. Jack could not be reached until three days later. Rather than rush home to be by his wife's side, he called Jackie, then finished out his vacation. Friends said he probably wanted to grieve in solitude. Regardless, when he got back, his relationship with Jackie was more strained than ever.

This is an interesting subject, but not for the reasons Mr. Phelps brings it up.

I was particularly interested in the death of Patrick B. Kennedy in August, 1963 Patrick Bouvier Kennedy - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia, mainly because Col./Dr. Jose Rivera expressed foreknoweldge not only of the assassination of President Kennedy but of the impending premature birth and death of Patrick B. Kennedy.

Rivera mentioned the fact that the life of the baby was in danger in April, 1963, four months before his prediction came true regarding the baby, and seven months before the assassination.

At first I considered it possible that Rivera could know details of the First Lady's private medical history from his normal medical contacts, but now I think that as with the assassination, Rivera had contact with some of those who were involved in the strategic planning of the assassination and also had close private knowledge of JFK's medical condition and history and that of his wife.

Although it is apparent from the Time Magazine article below, that the private details of this medical problem was common knowledge, as was the assassination itself, I think the source of Rivera's knowledge of Jackie's condition and the odds on the baby being born premature were pretty high, can be traced to Jackie's obstetrician Dr. John W. Walsh.

Walsh did have an obstetrician office in Bethesda, where Dr. Rivera also maintained an office at the NIH, and while that is a pretty tenuous connection, I think that if checked more closely other associations may be found between Rivera and Walsh, if they exist.

In regards to Dr. John W. Walsh, William John Bennett – GB's "Drug Czar" – claims to berelated to him - Dr. John W. Walsh, and tells us that Walsh's father Dr. Joseph Walsh was the personal physician to Al Smith, keeping politics in the family.

Obit for Dr. JWW:

JohnW. Walsh, 87, Kennedy Obstetrician

Published: November 25, 2000

http://www.nytimes.c...stetrician.html

Dr. John W. Walsh, anobstetrician who delivered two children of John F. Kennedy and consoledJacqueline Bouvier Kennedy in the hours after her husband's assassination, diedon Maui on Nov. 12. He was 87.

A former resident of Washington, D.C., Dr. Walsh lived inKaanapali, Maui, and Bethany Beach, Del., after retiring in 1984.

Born on April 10, 1913, in Brooklyn, he graduated from St. John's College and received hismedical degree from Long Island University. He did his medical internship and residency at hospitals in New York and was an Army physician in Europe during World War II.

Later, he had a private practice in obstetrics in Washington and Bethesda, Md., and was a clinical professor of obstetrics and gynecology at Georgetown University Medical School.

Jacqueline Kennedy became one of his patients in 1957. In November1960, Dr. Walsh delivered John. F. Kennedy Jr., first son of the president-elect, at Georgetown University Hospital.

Dr. Walsh delivered the couple's third child, Patrick BouvierKennedy, who was born prematurely in August 1963 at Otis Air Force Base on Cape Cod and died two dayslater.

TIME MAG STORY ON PATRICK'S DEATH:

THE PRESIDENCY

http://www.time.com/...,894559,00.html

With a Secret Service man at the wheel, the car carrying Jacqueline Kennedy and her two children turned into the driveway of a Cape Cod farm where the Kennedys keep their horses. Caroline, 5, and her brother, John Jr., 2, scrambled out of the car and raced toward the stables. It was just after 11 a.m. — time for the kids to go riding. They were raring to go, but Jackie did not leave the car to join them. She had just had the first twinge of labor pains, more than five weeks prematurely.

So, last week, for the President and his wife began an agonizing period that ended with the death of an infant son.

When Jackie told the Secret Service man of her pains, he sprinted for the farm house, phoned the Kennedy summer home on Squaw Island and asked that someone summon Dr. John Walsh, Jackie's obstetrician, who was "vacationing" on the Cape, while actually on stand-by in the event that Jackie's time might come ahead of schedule. Then the Secret Service man rounded up Caroline and John, took them to the car and sped off for Squaw Island, eight miles away.

Into Surgery.

Dr. Walsh was waiting at the summer home. "I think I'm going to have the baby," said Jackie. Gently, she told Caroline and John that she had to leave, suggested they might have their lunch at "Grampy Joe" Kennedy's place down the beach. Then she packed a bag. By 11:20 a.m., Jackie, Dr. Walsh and a Secret Service man were in a helicopter bound for Otis Air Force Base hospital, 20 miles away.

The base was well prepared for the crisis. Mrs. Kennedy has a medical record of premature births, and both her children were delivered by caesarean section. If the baby had not been premature, it would have been born at Washington's Walter Reed Hospital. But, just in case, the Air Force had long since readied a ten-room suite (nursery, kitchen, two lounges and six bedrooms) at Otis. By the time Jackie arrived, 200 special guards had been posted around the 22,000-acre base. Three airmen with Jackie's bloodtype (A1 Rh positive) had been picked several weeks ago, and now stood by to give blood transfusions. At noon one gave two pints for Jackie. She had gone into surgery as soon as she arrived.

Not Even a Toothbrush. Meanwhile, Dr. Janet Travell, the White House physician, who was also on a Cape Cod vacation, phoned the President in Washington to tell him the news.Within 19 minutes of her call, John Kennedy, half a dozen hastily gathered newsmen and several White House staffers were aboard Air Force helicopters, bound from the White House lawn to Andrews Air Force Base. No one in the party,including the President, had so much as a toothbrush along.

Since neither of the two presidential Boeing 707 jets was available for the rush trip to Cape Cod,Kennedy took a twinjet, eight-passenger Lockheed Jet-star — an airplane never before used by a President because it lacks the intricate communications facilities that go with the Chief Executive whenever he is in the air. While President Kennedy was still on the way, a ten-member military medical team assisted Dr. Walsh with the caesarean delivery. And at 12:52 p.m., a baby boy (4 Ibs. 10 oz., and 17 in. long) was born to Jackie Kennedy.

The first word to reporters was that mother and child were doing nicely. But in the operating room, doctors knew differently. The President's son was suffering from hyaline membrane disease, alung ailment common, and often fatal, to premature babies. Within minutes after the birth, the doctors called for Father John Cahill, an Air Force chaplain,who baptized the baby Patrick Bouvier Kennedy. Then began a desperate fight to save the infant's life.

Just One Look. The President had been informed of the birth while still airborne. But he, along with his sister, Jean Smith,who heard of the birth over her car radio, were waiting in Jackie's room when she came back from surgery. Peering into an incubator (an ultramodern typeknown as an Isolette) in the private nursery, the President saw his tiny,brown-haired son for the first time at 2:30 p.m. Three hours later, he wheeled the incubator up to Jackie's bed, and she saw little Pat for the first—and only—time.

The baby obviously needed—and at once—specialists and special equipment beyond the resources of the Air Force base. Bundled in a blue blanket inside his incubator, the infant was slipped out a back door and into an ambulance for a dash to Children's Medical Center in Boston, more than an hour away. The President flew to Boston, walked grimly past acrowd of well-wishers outside the hospital, donned a white gown and mask to see Patrick. He conferred anxiously with doctors, then left for the Kennedy family suite at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel.

Later that evening, upon word that his son was holding his own, the President flew back to Squaw Island. There, at noon the next day as he lunched with his mother-in-law, Mrs.Hugh P. Auchincloss, he got an urgent call from the hospital. His son was sinking rapidly. The President tried to call Jackie, but she was asleep. He left word that he had gone back to Boston —but told doctors not to tell her why.

At Children's Medical Center, doctors suggested a radical move: put Patrick in a huge hyperbaric pressure chamber that wouldforce oxygen into his lungs (see MEDICINE). This hyperbaric chamber had been used in 28 open-heart surgery cases during the past 17 months—but never for alung ailment. The President agreed.

Toward Despair.

Late thatafternoon, Kennedy wearily returned to the Ritz, called Jackie and told her for the first time how serious the situation was. Then he made another visit to the hospital, returned to dine alone at the hotel, called before he headed for the hospital again. His brother, Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy, and Kennedy Confidant Dave Powers joined the President there.

As the hours passed, faint hope faded to despair. Patrick was not responding to treatment, and the President decided that he must spend the night near his son. He stretched out on a hospital bed set up in a doctors' lounge on the fourth floor. Shortly after 2 o'clock Friday morning, the phone next to his bed rang, and the President was told that there was no longer any hope. The President hurried downstairs, for the next two hours waited restlessly on a straight-backed wooden chair, occasionally rising to peer through a tiny porthole, where he could see five doctors, a nurse and a technician working desperately inside the flood lit chamber. Ineluctably, the infant's life ebbed away. At 4:30 a.m., Press Secretary Pierre Salinger announced: "Patrick Kennedy died at 4:04 a.m. The struggle of the baby boy to keep breathing was too much for his heart."

On Saturday, the President sat alone in the first pew in a tiny chapel inside the residence of Richard Cardinal Gushing, Archbishop of Boston. The baby lay in a tiny white casket, and the Cardinal read a Mass of the Holy Angels.

Patrick Bouvier Kennedy, who lived 39 hoursand twelve minutes, was the first to be buried in a new family plot at Holyhood cemetery in Brookline, Mass., marked by a single tombstone simply engraved "Kennedy."

At the same rant and rave Veterans Today web site that posted Prof. Fetzer's Onion article, Allen L. Rolan writes a provocative article The First American Coup / JFK Assassination

http://www.veteranst...-assassination/

John F Kennedy still calls out from his grave for justice.The first violent overthrow or coup of the U.S. Government occurred with the assassination of JFK in Dallas, Texas on November 22, 1963. On that day, the power was passed from the choice of the people to a tin pot dictator from Texas, Lyndon B Johnson, who gave the Pentagon, the CIA, the oil industry, and the banks everything they wanted ~ and that game still continues today:

You can't fully understand what is happening now in America until you fully understand what happened 48 years ago in Dallas, Texas ~ when the slick and well orchestrated assassination of a sitting president, John F Kennedy, was accomplished in broad daylight. The power was then handed over to the CIA, Military Industrial Complex, the Pentagon, Big Oil and the Banks and their retainer was Lyndon B Johnson ~ who later died with JFK's blood on his hands.

James W. Douglass. (2008). JFK And The Unspeakable: Why He Died And Why It Matters. New York: Simon & Schuster. Pg. 384 – 385. This quote is an excerpt from the Afterword, written on January 6, 2010, that appears in the paperback version of the book.

"At the height of the Cold War, JFK risked committing the greatest crime in human history: starting a nuclear war. Horrified by the specter of nuclear annihilation, Kennedy gradually turned away from his long-held Cold Warrior beliefs and toward a policy of lasting peace.

But to the military and intelligence agencies in the United States, who were committed to winning the Cold War at any cost, Kennedy's change of heart was a direct threat to their power and influence. Once these dark "Unspeakable" forces recognized that Kennedy's interests were in direct opposition to their own, they tagged him as a dangerous traitor, plotted his assassination, and orchestrated the subsequent cover-up....

BK: He goes on some more, and you can follow him if you want to, but at the end he has a link to a video that blames LBJ for the assassination, but there are also some links to some other obscure JFK videos, including this one, which is done in the old fashioned movie theater newsreal style, but clearly can't be.

It is labeled:

Phone Call: JFK Cursing on Phone

July 24, 1963, the Washington Post reports that the US Air Force spent over $5,000 refurbishing a room at Otis Air Force Base for use as Mrs Kennedy's maternity suite."

July 25, 1963. President Kennedy phones an Air Force General to express his displeasure with the Post's story.

General: Yes sir.

JFK:…that Air Force has caused itself more grief with that silly bastard…Did you see the Post this morning?

General:Yes sir, I'm looking at it.

JFK: Did you see that fella's picture by the bed. And did you see that furniture they bought from Jordan Marsh? What the hell did they allow reporters in there for? Are they crazy up there? Now you know what's going to do…any Congressmanis going to get up and they'll say, "If they can throw away $5,000 on this, lets cut them another billion dollars. You just sank the Air Force budget. They're crazy up there. Are they crazy? That silly bastard with his picture next to the bed. I want to find out who paid for that furniture and I want itto go back to Jordan Marsh. Then I want that fellow's incompetent who had his picture taken next to Mrs. Kennedy's bed, if that's what it is. He's just a silly bastard. I wouldn't have him running a Cat House. I hope they're not all incompitant. Is that the way they are throwing money around over there. You better look into it, especially after you told me it wouldn't cost a cent.

General: Well….this is obviously

JFK: Well this is obviously a xxxxup.

I'd like to know a few things. For one, who was the general that JFK is talking to?

Can anyone read the newspaper photo caption that should identify the Air Force officer?

I wonder who he is and what ever happened to that guy?

Also, the story that accompanies the photo reads something like: "Delivery Room Valor Rewarded" - and the story is datelined Mount Clemmens, which is a medical center in Michigan, from where apparently two nurses have been reassigned to Otis to care for Mrs. Kennedy - a Maj. Ruth Johnson and a Capt. Patricia Kaffa? "in case there are any complications." And there were.

Less than a month later, JFK is called for an emergency and goes from DC Otis AFB in a jet that doesn't have the communications equipment that AF1 has, the only time a sitting president was said to have been out of touch in such a way (at least until 9/11). His wife gave birth to Patrick, who dies two days later.

Then when the President has to fly to Texas for the political fundraisers, he needs a legitimate non-political excuse to go there and he so he visits the Medical facilities at Fort Hood, Texas, where he goes out of his way to visit the new incubator and oxygen tents they have developed, and mentions that they might have been able to use them to save his late son Patrick.

The Air Force were making sure they had such fine accommodation at Otis, and they seemed to have expected her at Bethesda's 17th floor suite too.

Adele writes and points out - as does David Talbot's new book Devil Dog - on Col. Smedley Butler.

Roland's aerticle, "The First American Coup/JFK Assassination" apparently did not recognize that there had been an earlier attempted coup, just thirty years before in 1933-34, backed up by an army of 500,000 WWI war veterans of the American Legion ready to march on Washington, D.C. to oust President Franklin Roosevelt who was meant to be replaced by a fascist dictator modeled after Benito Mussolini of Italy. This plot was hatched by Wall Street bankers, financiers, stockbrokers, and industrial leaders. The Liberty League was also formed by the Duponts, Rockefellers,and many other wealthy people to continue to battle against the Roosevelt administration throughout the rest of the 1930s to keep him from being re-elected and from instituting many important democratic laws and reforms. Some of these same family names crop up in the Kennedy assassination studies. Even though the McCormack-Dickstein Committee of Congress held hearings on this attempt to over throw our government, and names of the prominent perpetrators were published, this information was not included in subsequent US history texts, much like that which happened after the JFK assassination when information obtained by JFKresearchers was suppressed or omitted from newspapers and the rest of the mass media,allowing only the "official" story by the Warren Commission to be told.

Jules Archerwrote a book about this coup attempt which has been updated and is availablefrom Amazon. It is titled "The Plot to Seize the White House"and

is in paperback, and well worth the time to read it. More information is available on Google. A good search term to use is"Business Plot to Overthrow Roosevelt", which willbring up many items of interest. The History Channel devoted one of itsprograms to this plot and even featured Jules Archer in it ascommentator. This might beavailable on a DVD disc from the History Channel..

Here's another video, quite long though, but interesting, by Lyndon LaRouche, and titled "1932, A True History of the United States".It covers the period from Lincoln to FDR and involves the British Empire's affects on the US long after the US Revolution, also fascist plot in 1930's..

Some suggested that JFK's nuclear weapons laboratory tours in Dec. of 1962 got him into some nuclear exposures. None of these labs are clean and always had, often large, nuclear emissions into the the atmosphere. With Patrick passing in Aug 1963, sounds like things "got started" in Dec. 1962. So, perhaps this was the doctor's worry with JFK, Jackie and Child.

JFK takes a keen interest in atmospheric nuclear tests and signs the atmospheric test ban on 26 July 1963. Seems other parents had issues with nuclear emissions from atmospheric testing at the NTS ("Mercury Test Site").

=====

=====

Sandia was a part of Los Alamos, just the military assembly end of the nuclear weapons work. Lots of the nuke weapons depots were underground facilties.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sandia_Base

Always on the itinerary of key political figures, Sandia Base hosted President John F. Kennedy on December 7, 1962.[11]

=======

Interesting enough, some of the AEC dirty laundry is showing on the above site. Notice the bomb delivery air force group, the 509th, was based at Roswell, NM. (Roswell AFB=Walker AFB => SAC=Curtis LeMay)

One can see their interests in atmospheric nuclear tests in this period. Nuclear Flash effects and aircraft survival issues were on the top of the testing lists.

One can see where they moved US atmospheric tests out to the Pacific after 1947's big disaster next door at White Sands. The logistics in the Pacific proved so difficult they then took over the AEC property near Las Vegas for the Nevada Test site (Mercury).

After JFK, they were forced to only underground nuke testing.

-----

The Pioneers and the 509th Bombardment Group (successor to the 509th Composite Group that flew the 1945 missions) flew the practice missions from Kirtland AFB to Wendover, Utah. The 509th was stationed at Walker Air Force Base near Roswell, New Mexico.

At Sandia Base, the Pioneers worked with Sandia Laboratory and the AEC to perfect the design, assembly, storage, and delivery of atomic weapons. In 1948, the Pioneers supported Operation SANDSTONE, the atmospheric test series at Eniwetok Atoll in the Marshall Islands.

The SANDSTONE test series was successful, but logistics, weather, security, and safety suggested the need for a continental test site.[10] Thus, AFSWP conducted a top secret study, named Project Nutmeg, to search for such a site. In 1950, AFSWP concluded that a site on the Air Force's Las Vegas Bombing and Gunnery Range in Nevada was the right place. President Truman approved the location, known as Frenchman Flat.

===========

Per Limited Test Ban's detailed timeline:

http://www.gwu.edu/~nsarchiv/NSAEBB/NSAEBB94/

==========

Per Walker AFB=Roswell AFB => SAC=Curtis LeMay.

This was the first site for the Strategic Air Command, which came to be run by none other than JCS Curtis Lemay, who had the infamous "Blue Room" with all the so called UFO pieces and human experiment cover ups.

=====

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walker_Air_Force_Base

Opened in 1941 as an Army Air Corps flying school, it was active during World War II and the postwar era as Roswell Army Air Field. During the early years of the Cold War, it becoming the largest base of the Strategic Air Command. It is also known for the Roswell UFO incident, an event that supposedly happened on 4 July 1947. It is alleged that a "flying disk" crashed during a severe thunderstorm near the base at Corona, New Mexico.

Funding cutbacks during the Vietnam War led to the closure of the base in 1967.

========

Rowell also became home to many of the nuclear missile silos that started build up in the 1960s.

In 1960, Atlas missile silos were constructed around the Roswell area. Reportedly, the first Atlas missile to arrive in Roswell received a welcoming parade. On 2 January 1961 579th Strategic Missile Squadron was activated as part of the 6 BW at Walker. New Mexico’s Governor Mecham gave the keynote speech at a Site 10 ceremony held on 31 October 1961, in which the first missile site was turned over to the Air Force.

Although Chaves County residents took patriotic pride in the news of the missile squadron’s arrival, Roswell residents submitted 10 permit requests for bomb shelters in October 1961 as construction went ahead.

The 579th SMS received its first missile on 24 January 1962. In April 1962, a completed liquid oxygen plant built at Walker AFB was turned over to the Air Force. The squadron completed missile installation approximately one month before the Cuban Missile Crisis.

=========

Oddly enough, the first missle silos get installed right next to where all the rocket issues started with Goddard and later the NAZI rocket scientists at Ft. Bliss. The 1947 mishap was bad enough, but the dangers of the liquid fueled rockets made more disasters at Roswell. Not long afterwards the push to get into different safer solid fuels.

Thanks, Michael,

"Imagine what they'd do if you didn't stay ontheir ass!" -- JFK on Wasteful Air Force Spending

http://hnn.us/articles/52485.html

Oneof the great pleasures of my work is being able to find and read or listen todocuments and recordings from the presidencies and congresses of the early ColdWar era. Harry Truman, Lyndon Johnson, Richard Nixon? They're allstill very much alive in my brain. So, too, is John F. Kennedy, mostrecently because of a story by R. Jeffrey Smith in the Washington Post ("Terrorism Funds May Let Brass Fly in Style," July 18,2008, page 1) on counterterrorism funds being spent by the Air Force on fancyfurnishings for aircraft used for travel by high-ranking officers.

I'm as opposed to and appalled by arrogant, wasteful spendingby government bureaucracies as anyone. But the Post story reminded me oftwo hilarious taped conversations1 from the Kennedy White House showing that,as Harry S. Truman often said, "The only thing new under the sun is the historyyou don't already know."

On July 25, 1963,the newspaper featured a story about how Air Force officials had spent $5000 ontop-of-the-line bedroom furniture (from the Jordan Marsh Company) for anortheastern air base's hospital, in case the famously pregnant Mrs. John F.Kennedy would decide to have her baby there, should she be in Massachusettswhen "the time" came. (Indeed, Patrick Bouvier Kennedy would be born,following premature labor and emergency caesarian section surgery, on August 7of that year at Otis Air Force Base, the Massachusettsfacility in question on the JFK tapes. The baby would die two days laterin Boston Children's Hospital.)

Fortunately, for those who love political history, the taperecorder was rolling when JFK telephoned two people just after seeing a photoin the morning's Post of an Air Forceofficer with the furniture. An absolutely furious JFK told ArthurSylvester, the press spokesman for Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara:"I'd just like to send that goddamn furniture back…to Jordan Marsh in anAir Force truck this afternoon with that captain [who made the furniturepurchase] on it…." Further, JFK said, "What about transferringhis ass out of here in about a month?…for incompetence, not for screwingus. And that silly fellow who had his picture taken next to the bed, I'dhave him go up to Alaska,too." (Click here to listen.)

Kennedy felt great pressurefrom liberals in his party in Congress and elsewhere who thought militaryspending was too high. Meanwhile, most military leaders and conservativeson Capitol Hill thought the President (and his defense budget) were inadequateto meet the Soviet threat.

To his Air Force aide, General Godfrey McHugh, the Presidentexploded: "Did you see the Post this morning?....Youjust sank the Air Force budget!" Kennedy predicted, "Anycongressman's gonna get up and say, 'Christ, if they can throw $5000 away onthis, let's cut 'em another billion dollars.' "

About the "silly bastard" featured in the Post photograph standing nextto "Mrs. Kennedy's bed, if that's what it is…I wouldn't have him running acat house!" 2

McHugh tried to respond, "Well sir, this is obviouslya..." JFK didn't wait for McHugh to finish "--Well, this is obviouslya xxxx up!" (Click here to listen.)

1 Iobtained the records at the Miller Center website . The two conversations are numberedjfk_dict_23d1 and jfk_dict_23d2. Note: The first 40 seconds of the firstrecording are mostly silent. Also, you and your computer may not find playingthese audio files a user-friendly experience. Don't email me fortechnical advice!

2 JFKobviously had an edition of the Post with the photograph,though the copy of the story I found did not have that photo.
