  1. Bill and All, Clarify please, were the 10/10/63 memos part of an ongoing hunt for a Soviet bloc mole and/or a ploy to smoke out the Oswald imposters of Sept 28 and October 1,2? Or both. And Nagell via Russell hinted at a Bloc mole around CIA ops in MC, and a feedback loop at HotelLuma, did they not? I seem to recall there is absolutely no record of Nagells late September letter to Hoover/FBI.
  2. Bill, Sandy Et Al, would it be true to say the Oswald Legend, whether the subject was witting or not, had been used to ferret out a mole or moles amongst US agencies, but after the September/October 1963 impersonations “Oswald Legend variants”became marked cards to a-identify a mole or two and more urgently b-identify the impersonators and therefore theJFKA plotters who framed Lee? And what are the implications that may logically follow?
  3. Do you guys not recognise how much real hard slog has gone into Mr Montenegro’s list? As a resource and set of sorely needed building blocks, not a cause for sarcasm, and regurgitating old dead ends… Do Forum participants not recognise that the deepest minds and most careful researchers (Peter Dale Scott, John Newman for two) are now looking more to military actors and bodies as THE missing part of the JFKA puzzle. We as Education Forum members and concerned world citizens owe it to the victims of that coup d’état to keep an open mind and heart to all who enter here…
  4. Impressive, comprehensive, super command of resources, up there with John Simkin’s Spartacus list. Just gone midnight here in Australia…will sleep on it before any substantive comment, but thanks and my humble congratulations.
  5. Having read this thread, has it occurred to anyone else the possibility of a major misdirection. Why could the Tippett caller not have been directing attention AWAY from a European-American neo fascist source for the assassination? BTW, I remain open to a concurrent doppelgänger operation, improbable as it may seem. As a youth in the 1960s, I read John Hersey’s The Child Buyer(1960), describing a character not unlike Edwin Ekdahl, and a boy similar to Lee Harvey Oswald. Hersey, be it noted a Yaleee of Skull and Bones, also wrote The War Lover(1959) about US bomber pilots and The Conspiracy (1972) set in Ancient Rome. And married Frances Ann Cannon a former paramour of JFK. Pardon the digression, but heretofore overlooked, perhaps.
  6. Cory…the reason I mentioned Robert Maheu re Nixon’s AND Bush’s movements in 1963 arose from reading Summers revealing The Arrogance of Power, esp pp194-96. Therein he details how Niarchos engaged Maheu in 1954 to derail the Jiddah Agreement between Onassis and Saud. Through Scott McLeod Maheu got to Nixon and the NSC to destroy the agreement and/or Onassis himself, as RN told Maheu, “If it turns out we have to kill the bastard, just don’t do it on American soil.”(Maheu, Next to Hughes, p.45). Soo, Maheu , CIA cutout to the Mob, links Nixon and through Niarchos Alf Ulmer. I believe after reading Lisa Pease’s A Lie Too Big To Fail, a detailed timeline of Robert Maheu would be a mammoth undertaking but relevatory of both Kennedy assassinations. Leslie, Hjalmar Schacht was instrumental, according to Maheu, in the Jiddah Agreement(p.44), and, according to Peter Evans Onassis book key to landing a large tanker order for Onassis in Germany.
  7. I would not be surprised if Robert Maheu was found to be lurking around…
  8. I believe it is well documented that Nixon was in Dallas with Pepsi GM Donald M Kendall re the pending merger with FritoLay, and Bush was accompanied by ex CIA Alf Ulmer gofer for CIA linked Niarchos, and Delta Drilling boss Joe Zeppa. Both Ulmer and Zeppa had experience in Franco’s Spain, and Pepsi and Kendall documented CIA links in Chile 1972 and Laos 1960-70s.
  9. in its Dr K death article,The New York Times quoted him as justifying the Vietnam War because it “bought the US ten years”. Think about that! Ten years from the onset of troops and bombing is 1965-75, but ten years to the Paris Agreement for a cease fire and US withdrawal is 1963-73. That struck me like a thunderbolt. Kennedy’s death cleared the way for Op Plan 34a, the Gulf of Tonkin, the cancellation of JFKs Indonesian visit set for 1964 and his hopes for avoiding a landwar in Indochina. Nixon and Lodge got their revenge and yes the Bundys (being the best and brightest) went along with them. My take on the war rationale is this: by 1963 American power in the Far East was in the balance. Ike’s Japan 1960 visit to renew the occupation was cancelled by student riots, the Socialist candidate was stabbed to death on TV, Syngman Rhee was replaced after student unrest in ROKorea, Indonesia was teetering and the US bases in the Philippines were unpopular. A massive and violent show of force, that would both terrorise and polarise, would buy time for the US, which is exactly what happened. Triggered by the events in Dallas, the bombing and killing and massacres by America and its puppets went on and on and on
  10. Some random thoughts on this powerful timeline topic… Apart from the appearance of fence-mending, did Kennedy believe that having John Connally in his car and line of fire would offer a measure of insurance against aggro or worse? Where might Richard Case Nagell fit in? His El Paso escapade and warning letter to the FBI occurred in late September and was preceded by an attempt to disengage Oswald from plotters. May one hypothesise suspected Soviet agents Bruce Solie and perhaps James McCord in the Office of Security triggered his actions, but in some as yet unknown roundabout way so as to conceal and protect their double agent status? And Nixon and Bush hovering around Dallas on the day, the former there with newly appointed Pepsi CEO and later close CIA collaborator Donald M Kendall, the latter with Alf Ulmer,Jr, Niarchos, Robert Maheu asoociate, both of whom Nixon had previously worked with and CIA station chief in Madrid , base of Otto and Ilse Skorzeny.
  11. If some of these machinations and linkages led to the assassinations JFK and RFK, implanting Republican dynasts, as I believe they may have, RFK Jr better watch out…
  12. Curious Flight arrival records of John Reagan Tex McCrary, Ilse Skorzeny and others… 16Dec1961- Tex McCrary and Lou Chester on Bahama Airways Freeport(FPT) to Miami 30Nov1961- Ilse Skorzeny FPT to Miami; 18Dec1961- Ilse Skorzeny TWA Madrid to NYC; 24Jan1962- BahamaAirways BH309 FPT to Miami, with Ilse Skorzeny, John Tyson head of Preview Inc, European banker Pierre Beckhardt and architect Jacque Coulle, AND one Tex McCrary, though scrawled in a possible attempt at concealment. 7Set1962- Bahama to Miami, on the private of Charles Taylor Construction, and piloted by him, with Ilse Skorzeny, banker Beckhardt and Gerald Blitz, Belgian founder of Club Med. Ilse also flew 25Mar1962 Mexico City to NYC, 21Aug1962 Frankfurt to NYC, 5Nov1962 Dublin to NYC, 22/23Nov1962 Paris to NYC. Her first recorded flight to the US that I can find was 1Mar1957 Madrid to NYC, where I understand her married sister lived,at 350 Cabrini Blvd. Tex., with Jinx, on 12Mar1959 flew PanAm Rio to Miami, on the same flight as Lester Logue and his business partner Archibald Paterson. He also flew Freeport to Florida in 1962 on 8Jan, on 14Feb,with Jinx and John III, 17March, and 6 May. Obviously, some of these trips are for business and some eg Valentines Day are sentimental. BUT I wonder if something more is going on, something involving Meyer Lansky, and the future Presidency of Richard Nixon. Need I spell out McCrary, Sid Richardson and Clint Murchison probably did much recruit to Eisenhower to run and as a Republican; that Nixon had close ties with the Bahamas, through Abplanalp and Rebozo, went there to brood November 1962, and according to Summers most likely had a per cent of the take of the Paradise Island bridge, courtesy of the influence of Lansky. And note that German politician Volker Hassman in the Executive Intelligence Review of Aug 24 1982, identifies a “Lichtenstein broker Pierre Beckhardt” as go between forTibor Rosenbaum’s Banque de Credit International of Geneva and the looted Hesse Land Bank.Hassman wrote “the greater part of the BCI’s services had been at the disposal of that man: Meyer Lansky”. And was it not a check traceable to BCI that so panicked Nixon in the Watergate debacle?
  13. Paul, I do take your points seriously, and am not plugged in enough to be thorough in response. Here is what I can say about the WHY of Pierre Lafitte diary situation…about 1951-55, he worked very closely with George White, who kept a diary over years and for Albarelli who consulted it closely, this was a vital entry point I am sure. Read Doug Valentine’s unchallenged work on the FBN/CIA overlap - 80 indexed references to GHW in the first, one hundred in the second, that’s nearly one every four pages. Thou, only four for Lafitte and none in vol 2 and six for Francois Spirito. Page 141, “On 6 December, 1955 Gottlieb visited White and Pierre Lafitte one last time in New York. He arrived with a fountain pen air-gun and an instruction manual on the use of drugs and protitutes” for White’s FBN job in San Francisco. On pages 110-11, Valentine describes the Orsini case as “the first postwar crack in the French connection…and cannot be overstated,” where PL ratted on his old French colleagues, and two years later he and Francois Spirito ended up in Frank Olsen’s Statler Hotel room. How Albarelli fingered these two in A Terrible Mistake is not well documented,in my recollection, but the Olsen family received a Presidental apology, from Gerald Ford,of all people in “ the year of intelligence” of 1975. Note that George White and Skorzeny both died in 1975, and Lafitte may have too, am trying to find a reference for that. To quote someon, “You can’t make this stuff up”
