10 Year Anniversary- JFK, Jr.

Recommended Posts

I'm a bit surprised that there has been so little national media attention (at least on television) to the ten year anniversary of John F. Kennedy Jr.'s death. I don't expect any television network to ask any questions about the death (we all know that will never happen), but you'd at least expect some typical fluff pieces. The only thing I saw on t.v. was a one hour special on the TV Guide network, which offered nothing new.

There are significant questions about exactly what happened that night. Early on, dogged but unknown voices on the internet (John Quinn, John DiNardo, Anthony Hilder) raised these questions, which were ignored by the mainstream media. There was the 9:39 PM final radio communication from JFK, Jr., which was mentioned frequently by the local networks throughout New England and was first reported by UPI. I have a two hour videotape of this local t.v. coverage (thanks to researcher Scott Myers), which even features an interview with Coast Guard official Todd Burgun, about this radio communication. Obviously, he wasn't there to be interviewed about an imaginary event. However, as happened after the assassination of his father, the "official" story was quickly adopted by all the mainstream media. Not a single dissenting voice in all that "free" and "independent" press. And so, the 9:39 PM radio communication went down the memory hole.

There is also the testimony of Pennsylvania lawyer Victor Pribanic, who reported hearing a loud explosion coming from the area about the time JFK, Jr.'s plane went down. Further, we have the still unidentified Hyannisport Gazette reporter, who told WCBV-TV in Boston that he saw a "big white flash in the sky," again in the right place and right time to be associated with JFK Jr.'s plane coming down. I exchanged emails with WCBV-TV reporter Steve Sbraccia a few years ago, and he volunteered the information that something didn't seem "right" to him about the JFK, Jr. plane crash. He also verified that he'd spoken to the Hyannisport Gazette reporter, and he was definitely a real person. None of the early investigators were ever able to track down this elusive reporter. Unfortunately, Sbraccia has not responded to my followup emails.

Here are some links to good early reporting on the story:

The only voice in the establishment press that is raising any questions about the death of JFK, Jr. at this point is the National Enquirer. I understand their credibility is suspect in the eyes of most, but in my view they are at least as legitimate as CBS, NBC, ABC, New York Times, Washington Post, etc. For what it's worth, here's a link to that:

Nelected to mention the great work done by John Hankey, including an exceptional video that was long available on youtube, but doesn't seem to be there now. Anyway, here is a link to a more recent online article that has some good info:

Wreckage moved to Cape Cod

Associated Press, 07/24/99

....The National Transportation Safety Board, which is leading the investigation, hopes to learn what happened July 16 that caused the plane to dive into the sea off the coast of Martha's Vineyard - something James Hall, the board's chairman, acknowledges they may never find out.

But as investigators began the task of examining the wreck, reports emerged that there was no mechanical failure in the engine or with the craft's propellers.

CBS news reported Friday night that preliminary reports showed pilot error is suspected to be the cause behind the fatal accident.

Ordinarily, only one regional investigator would be assigned to examine the cause of a small plane crash, NTSB spokesman Paul Schlamm told the Boston Herald.

In the Kennedy crash, a team of eight or nine people will investigate, Schlamm said, including specialists such as metallurgists, meteorologists and structures experts.

The safety board will examine all the available parts to figure out how the plane broke up - and the cause of the break-up....

Why so many investigators assigned?

Probably the same reason the US government deployed such a huge maritime effort to try to find the wreckage - because Jr was rich, famous and an important member of a politically influential family.

The government would do the same thing for a Clinton or a Bush or for Warren Buffett, but a few flyovers for the rest of us.

It's rather ironic that power and influence even matter at death.

I remember there being some outcry at the time as to how much the government was spending to find wreckage and bodies.

Thank you for giving credit to the "scandal sheets." I used to buy them like an addict. I think they have good reporters. It's funny that the first person to receive an anthrax letter and die was working for those newspapers -- the Star, The National Enquirer and the Globe.

JohnJohn was killed by people afraid that he would derail the upcoming election

of W. It was a Skull and Bones "ritual murder". Legend has it that BONESMEN

must participate in one ritual murder to advance their career. It has been

said by some that W's whereabouts were unknown during that period.

Indeed you're correct Mr. White, Bush's whereabouts were unknown (at least to the general public) on that very weekend. Sadly I cannot locate the personal email correspondence between myself and Hankey concerning 2 California Newspapers that had the scoop on the B. Grove story. Karen Hughes fought hard to get the 2 papers to retract their stories on the facts and, I believe one paper retracted, while the other did not. There is another individual who may have an earth shattering story if it can somehow be corroborated: A. True Ott. If anything Ott has stated on record is true concerning Jr. and why he was murdered, then it is absolutely no surprise why he had to die.

Don thanks for starting this topic, I have had my stomach turned at times trying to figure out why no one has pursued this as much as his father (well different dynamics were at play but yet still...). I don't know...maybe its me and the hopes I had for my generation and JFK Jr lol. I think there can still be good treasures of research found in the tragic death of JFK Jr.
