If anybody here is on facebook (and you can pretend you aren't!) there is a facebook group for a street party when Thatcher dies.

Personally I think a state funeral would be apt. The coffin carried by the families of former miners, a delegeation of the people imprisoned for non-payment of the poll tax and the widows of the Belgrano crew could be specially invited to ditch the bitch into the Thames. (local pollution regulations allowing)

Seems to me she should be be interred next to Ronald Reagan in some toxic waste dump....maybe in the Malvinas Islands. As a woman in a man's world she gets high grades, as a human being she gets failing grades...as a politician the Malvinas toxic dump is too good for her, IMO.

I expect that Gordon Brown and Tony Blair will carry her coffin. After all, they have carried on with her policies. Brown recently said admired her "conviction politics". What he should have said that she should have been convicted for her politics. Personally, I prefer Thatcher to Blair and Brown. At least she made it clear she was operating from a right-wing ideology where Brown and Blair hide behind the cloak of "centrism".

Coming out of the Miners strike, over twenty years ago, I made myself a promise to throw the biggest party possible when the old b**** kicked the bucket. It is still a promise I intend to keep. Hope they dont intend to cremate her, with the amount of Gin she's consumed over the years she will probably burn down the crematorium.

One might tentatively hope that a truely socialist world might be one in which individuals are less than keen to see and rejoice in the death of other individuals.

Very noble Andy, I'm sure. But I'm still stocking up on the party sevens and sausage rolls. That Woman, her party and goulish corperate cheerleaders oversaw the wholesale destruction of working class communities, and took massive joy from the project. They defecated upon us, and then rubbed our faces in it. I can feel nothing but joy in the death of such a creature.

" God? dont give me God, He can take John Lennon, and those two young men down Darnley pit, BUT THATCHER LIVES???.

Coco the scab, "brassed off".

My point about socialism precisely
