A disgusting verdict and a sign that our Judicial system is now part of the Monster that rules and controls with impunity - especially poor, progressives and non-whites. I'm too disgusted to write more now. Will later. America is moving backward on all measures of peace, justice, accountability, democracy, rule-of-law, and everything else. Revolting, and I predict parts of NYC will burn tonight. Expect to see some very angry reaction to this - as well there should be! The police are all too often out of control - and not held accountable! The nation is out of control. The judiciary is WAY out of control. The Congress bought-out. Sorry to rain on your cop-hatred, but two of the officers on trial were minorities as well, as were members of the jury. Nice of you to offer sympathy to the family of the victim and look objectively at the sorry events that led to this case. Oh wait, you didn't.

Ever hear of the concept of Justice? Maybe on your wedding night, without any weapon or doing anyone harm, you'd be satisfied with not even a 'sorry' for being shot with 50 bullets? - you'd have about a 25x lesser chance because your white. I hate injustice and an unfair bias the police have in certain neighborhoods and against certain persons [I, by the way, though white, have been one of those victims. I have found black officers only - on average - slightly more sympathetic to minoritites No, the problem is YOU don't CARE!....and the fact I left [not voluntarily this time - by the way] has zip to do with it. Another 'love it or leave it' reactionary... [do you hold the CIA men in my town, the troops in Iraq or businessmen anywhere unpatriotic for not being in the borders of the Heimat?] let me guess - you support W, the War 
in Iraq, and think 911 was an outside job. Likely have a relative who is a 
policman or are one yourself? I know it is a difficult job, but unjustified murder and exessive use of force is just that. There are lots of difficult jobs and tough decisions to be made in life, and we are all accountable - the police not one jot less so.....in fact they are to be the upholders of the law - not the breakers of it - in theory. In fact.......they are, sadly, all too often - too many examples - don't get me started.....

Everyone should be held accountable for
their actions - no less the police nor military - or Administration officials. Police should first warn someone after they detect a real threat. Then [ONLY] if they must, and there was no compliance, shoot a warning shot, then to stop - but not kill....50 bullets. You have my utter comtempt at your reply. This is not the first time something like this has happened, and America will not be what America should be until something radical is done about this.

Such a compassionate nation we have become..............with such a compassionate citizenry, as well................lovers of Justice, doers of 'Right'......
