A primer for the moderators.

First, if it doesn't already exist, you have to create the new thread you want to move the posts into. Once you have done that, you need to copy the URL (Universal Resource Locator - the web address). Do that by highlighting the URL and then clicking on the CTRL and C keys together, or right-clicking and selecting COPY.

Once you have done that, look in the top right-hand corner of each post you need to move. You'll see a checkbox. Click in it and it will turn red. You can go through the thread and do this to whatever posts need to be moved. This includes different pages within the thread. Please note that the posts will remain checked even if you then leave the thread and do nothing else!

Now you have selected the posts to move, and know where you want to move them to. Next you have to give the actual command to move. Go to the bottom right hand corner of the page and you'll see a drop-down list and another box next to it labeled WITH SELECTED (the box will also show the number of posts you have selected to move, make invisible, delete, etc). In the drop-down list you'll need to select MOVE POSTS and then click on the WITH SELECTED box.

Once you have done this, a new window will appear. It will ask you to which thread you want to move the posts. Click into the address bar at the top, and use CTRL-V (or right click, PASTE) to paste the URL into the box.

Now scroll to the bottom of the page and you'll see a box marked MOVE POSTS.

Click on this, and the marked posts will be moved to the new thread!
