And the talk he gave before on WTC mystery collapse to which he was answering is here

The answers to some of the questions touch on some very INTERESTING topics...!

Griffin at times spouts monumental stupidities such as proposing that “some old Boeing 767s that need to be replaced could be flown by remote control into” “some steel-frame high-rises with similar designs (having both core and perimeter columns) that are already scheduled for demolition”. Not many such buildings are demolished and even if there were since inevitably they would be different from the WTC such a test what ever the result would prove nothing. NIST theorized that the 1sy part of the towers to fail were the 65 foot (19.8 meter) long floor trusses. Very few buildings in the world have such long trusses. But worse his “research” has repeatedly been marred by false claims such as saying…

…the fires in the WTC were not hot enough to break windows, when in fact they broke hundreds of windows (and the towers were already well ventilated due to the plane impacts

… the Pentagon was protected by missile batteries that would fire upon any approaching aircraft that didn't carry a military transponder, which is not only pure BS but doesn’t make any sense since it lay under flight paths of a major airport less that a mile away

“Without the alleged calls from Barbara Olson, there is no evidence that Flight 77 returned to Washington” when in fact hundreds of witnesses saw it crash and severalof them IDed it as being from AA and/or a Boeing and/or a jetliner etc, all the passengers were IDed via DNA, firefighters who arrived with in minutes reported seeing bodoes strapped into airline seats inside the building, the black boxes were recovered etc

“The technology to enable cell phone calls from high-altitude airline flights was not created until 2004” when in fact the NY Times reported: “According to industry experts, it is possible to use cell phones with varying success during the ascent and descent of commercial airline flights, although the difficulty of maintaining a signal appears to increase as planes gain altitude. Some older phones, which have stronger transmitters and operate on analog networks, can be used at a maximum altitude of 10 miles, while phones on newer digital systems can work at altitudes of 5 to 6 miles. A typical airline cruising altitude would be 35,000 feet, or about 6.6 miles.”

“In its report on American Flight 77, the FBI report attributed only one call to Barbara Olson and it was an “unconnected call,” which (of course) lasted “0 seconds” which is partially true but the FBI said there were 4 connected calls from an “unknown” called that they assumed to be Olson.

… there were no Arab names on the passenger lists of the four flights, when in fact the lists he is referring to were clearly described as being of the VICTIMS and the passenger lists show the names of all 19 hijackers.

– … an “Air Traffic Control document put out in 1998” or at other times an “air force travel control document” when in fact it was a guide to a computer air traffic simulator (i.e. game) http://www.911myths.com/html/intercepts__n...nd_the_faa.html

– “quoted…statements from secondary sources …without looking them up for myself to read them in context.” Which he admitted was “careless” because they were taken out of context.

– wrote that there were "multiple eyewitnesses to missiles hitting the Pentagon" but was unable to cite a single one

(Ibid and 1st entry on the page)

Etc, etc. Due to his tendency to spout inanities and his abysmal “scholarship” reading his writings is largely a waste of time because you have to check every reference and often he provides inadequate citation but listening to him speak is as useless as a ripped condom because obviously no references are provided.

I've said this before and I will say it again: I have personally used mobile phones in various Coastwatch aircraft on various occasions between 1996-2000 at altitudes up to 25,000 feet.
