While looking for something quite different (Java Applets) I found this astonishing portfolio - images and descriptions of large structures made from Lego.

This truly amazing. I have never seen anything quite like it before. My son (age 4) and I spend many an evening creating simple lego models. This is certainly something to aspire to.

Thanks Andrew if you find any more gems like this one please send them along.

On a different subject did you ever manage to find a Design and Technology Key Stage 2 teacher who is prepared to assist me with the Virtual School Design and Technolofy site?

I think that Eric, the Lego artist, seems to be the sort of guy we should invite into this forum - obviously a polymath and creative type.

I did ask my colleagues about a key stage 2 teacher, but have not yet got a name from them. Now that the forum is so well-established, it would make sense for me to issue a general invitation to our (East Riding) teaching and learning consultants to join, which I will do.
