Ofsted inspectors have condemned the quality of maths teaching in England's secondary schools, saying both pupils and teachers appeared to lack a real grasp of the subject.

The schools watchdog warned that too many pupils were simply drilled to pass exams without really understanding what they were doing.

It appears that Ofsted may really be as stupid as I always thought they were.
After 15+ years of bashing teachers and schools with exam statistics they now seem surprised at the logical outcome of their unwanted and anti educational activities
