Anna,

You may find the article located at http://www.yoursites.co.uk/mountaintop_mir...f_nazi_rule.htm useful to your research.

It was originally written by a woman named Dorothy Evelyn Stanley, then in her 90's, and subsequently published in Venture Inward Magazine. It covers a great number of issues in the area of German civilian life under the Nazis, both Jewish and non-jewish which include the authors own experiences of the 'Nazi terror' and imprisonment.
