This amazing websites contains more than 1,100 Private Eye front covers. Each cover is indexed by date and subject. The collection starts with the first issue on 25th October, 1961 (price 6d.) to the present day. A great place for finding good source material for the history classroom. Don't go there unless you have a lot of time on your hands.

Fantastic site. I have already spent too long on it this afternoon. Which is your favourite cover? A thread in its own right I think. Mine is the one that covered Diana's death in 97.

http://www.strobes.uklinux.net/932/ That whole edition was such a perfect counterweight to the general media nonsense in Britain that week.

tomatoes.gif Don't go there, that is an understatement. Great resource for A-Level Language as well. If I had known this was available when teaching the Lang-Lit course I would have made ful use of it then. Never mind.

Anyway, back to the mundane marking of coursework. But I think I shal leave the site on to go back to it when I've had enough.
