James, I can find nothing on the Ludwigshafen affair. Do you have anything to help me refine my search. regards, Steve.

Hi Steve,

All I had was a small press clipping from the time which claimed Jack the Ripper was caught. This is it below. It claimed 18 women were killed which is bizarre in itself.

I was curious if anyone knew more about this episode.
