Joe he might have told Walt what he found. And he did tell me about seeing Poppy Bush there but I had forgotten about it. Our mutual friend reminded me yesterday. Tosh Plumlee also told me many times he had independent proof of Wallace being involved but he has never said exactly what. I think J trusted Walt to do a lot with his files. But only Joan Mellen got access. Not blaming Walt for this as it is a lot of material and he had a very cryptic way of noting things. FWIW I trust very little of what JM wrote on the Wallace case. I learned something new yesterday while talking with another of J's good friends. He shared with her that he had picked something up that day in the Plaza after the assassination which connected Mac Wallace to the assassination. He never told her what it was stating that it was too dangerous for her to know. The other thing that this friend reminded me of yesterday was that J said he saw his distant cousin there too: George H. W. Bush.

Update on Jim Marrs. He is home and is on dialysis every night. He is blind in his right eye, but is trying to still be active. This is a troubling time for him and Carol. Please remember them in your thoughts and prayers. I'll update as I know more. from chris gallop on fb.

John does not post on forums. Jim maintains the website and does the posting on forums. John does the research, which he often calls and runs it by me before it's up on the site. I asked him about forums one time and he used to post I think he said on one many years back but there was too much bickering. (One of the reasons I hardly ever come here anymore).

Sandy don't know if you watched any of the conference but my good friend Richard Bartholomew just gave a great presentation refuting Mellen's chapter 17 in her Wallace book. He quoted quite a bit from your posts here and is eagerly awaiting your further research on these errors. His talk clarified a lot for me about the smudged prints Joan is trying to claim Nathan Darby used. The Austin police dept. 10 card. Not the excellent DPF prints that Nathan actually used. I wonder if her error on this was confusion. Or....

I want to thank Doug Caddy here for his talk at the conference. Just finished watching it. Looking forward to Ed Tatro for the follow up and especially for pointing out how J Harrison had tried to get Mac Wallace's file but what he got was all blacked out. For those who do not know J was at one time military intel, then later a cop in Dallas on 11/22/63. A good cop. And later a very close friend of mine for many years. So he gets a blacked out "file" but when author Joan Mellen files a similar request she not only gets the full file she gets it free of charge. I knew this and was blown away when I read it. So thanks Ed for making that point.
