I teach a 20th Century History course for students 17 turinging 18 years of age. I often wonder about reasons, actions, 'hiden agendas', etc., during varous geopolitical events throughout the teaching of this course. For example the concept of self-determination during the Peace Treaties, why, (even on paper), the Bolsheviks were recognized as rightful owners of the subjected peoples' inside the Russian Empire. Anyways I'm a teacher living in Vancouver.
