I have been teaching on and off in various degrees for the past 15 years, 7 of those spent in Japan. I have lead an active gypsy lifestyle until 2 years ago where I became a committed mother and had 2 children in 15 months and now at 41 have found the best career of all, dare I say it 'motherhood'
I have been working as a editor for an educational company prior to becoming pregnant and although on maternity leave I have decided I want to be with my children, so I am tutoring to supplement our budget. I hope by joining the forum I can access some helpful educational direction.
I have also given up the inner city apartment lifestyle and am relishing the delights of a big backyard in West Footscray, Victoria, the last inner city suburb that is still mildly affordable due to its poor reputation.
