Barack Obama or John McCain

"LET THE GAMES CONTINUE" Nancy Pelosi on Morning Television, this APRIL FOOL's DAY.

"I do think that it is important for us to get behind one candidate a long time before we go to the Democratic National Convention

if we hope to win in November," Pelosi added.

Hillary wants to base the nomination on where the total popular vote stands at the end of June, never mind the delegate count.

Pelosi is telling superdelegates to VOTE NOW.

Does anyone see a trend here?

RASMUSSEN POLL:

Yes, I do - HRC is circling the drain.

Look for more party leaders to endorse Obama.

I think that Obama will win the Pa primary.

I am no student of elections (and certainly not ones in Pa), but Obama now leads nationally by 10%.

I doubt that Pa can be that different than the country as a whole.

And I noticed yesterday that the Clinton Campaign is a little less than $300,000 in arrears to its health insurance provider.

No wonder she wants socialized medicine.

It's rather funny seeing WJC inadvertantly doing everything he can to expedite the tanking of her campaign.

Someone needs to remind him to quit talking about himself.

It's her campaign, not his.

Yesterday's Rasmussen poll seems to have had little influence on media commentators. That may be because Rasmussen uses a small sample. Commentators, especially Pennsylvania politicians, are still referring to Hillary's "double-digit" lead in Pennsylvania polls, and this must be the reason:

Despite her portrayal as the underdog, a CNN "poll of polls" calculated Monday shows Clinton leading Obama 52 percent to 38 percent in the state, with 10 percent unsure.

The Pennsylvania poll of polls is an average of three polls -- American Research Group, Franklin and Marshall, and Quinnipiac -- conducted March 10 through 27.

http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/04/01/dem...?iref=hpmostpop

If this poll is accurate, then Obama is looking at a 14-point deficit and, even if he wins 7 out of the 10 undecideds, Hillary still has a good chance of eking out the magic "double-digit" win.

That seems to be the way her supporters are viwing the latest polls.

Here is the latest American Research group poll showing a 12-point Clinton lead as of March 27.

Yet another Pennsylvania poll

If the Democratic primary in Pennsylvania were held Tuesday, April 1, Hillary Clinton would defeat Barack Obama by 12 percentage points, according to a recent SurveyUSA poll conducted exclusively for NBC 10 and three other Pennsylvania TV stations across the state.

However, the poll showed Obama gaining ground in the Keystone State, particularly in cities like Pittsburgh and Philadelphia, and among older voters, men and conservative Democrats. Compared to an identical SurveyUSA poll released three weeks ago, Clinton is down two points and Obama is up five, with Clinton's previous 19-point lead cut to 12, the survey found.

ONE Hillary sympathiser commented yesterday that "the trend is not her friend."

ONE Hillary sympathiser commented yesterday that "the trend is not her friend."

Well put.

The pressure on HRC to withdraw mounts daily, as more and more influential Democrats support Obama and as he stretches out his overall lead.

The trend is truly not HRC's friend.

And I think that there will be more HRC flaps and dust-ups which surface, like the one involving her firing by her boss on the Congressional Watergate Committee for being a xxxx and an otherwise unethical attorney.

The matter even involved her removing and concealing records (like the Rose billing records which showed up in the residential quarters of the White House and the hundreds of raw FBI background files on political adversaries and others (ala JEH)).

The following link relates to that matter, althought the mainstream media doesn't seem to find it newsworthy yet: http://www.northstarwriters.com/dc163.htm

No media also seem to be talking about the fact that she failed the DC bar exam (I think the DC one).

I still think that Obama will win Pa.

It will be interesting.

Raleigh, N.C. – Barack Obama has taken the lead over Hillary Clinton 45-43 in

Pennsylvania, according to the newest survey from Public Policy Polling.

It’s a remarkable turn around from PPP’s last Pennsylvania poll, conducted two and a

half weeks ago, that showed Clinton with a 26 point lead in the state.

http://publicpolicypolling.blogspot.com/20...nnsylvania.html

Public Policy Polling had the most accurate numbers of any company in the country for

the Democratic primaries in South Carolina and Wisconsin, as well as the closest

numbers for any organization that polled the contests in both Texas and Ohio.

They don't say how they did in New Hampshire, etc.

Not everyone is impressed with Public Policy Polling:

Another new Pennsylvania poll today shows Hillary slipping and Obama standing still:

Clinton holds a 50 - 41 percent lead over Obama among likely voters in the April 22 Pennsylvania Democratic primary. That's a 3 percentage point drop for Clinton from a March 18 Quinnipiac poll. But her loss wasn;t necessarily a gain for Obama, the Illinois senator, whose numbers remained flat in the survey of 1,549 Democratic likely voters that has a 2.5 percent margin of error.

You can watch video, or read a transcript of Obama's appearance on the Chris Matthews show before an audience of Obamamaniac college students in Philly. Obama entered the arena cheered on by real cheerleaders and the college marching band.

Does he have the RIGHT STUFF, or what?

The good news is that Obama picked up two more superdelegates yesterday, including the governor of Wyoming.

The bad news is that he was endorsed by Jane Fonda. That will NOT help in Pennsylvania.

And guess who Jimmy Carter, superdelegate, is supporting:

Don’t forget that Obama won in my state of Georgia. My town which is home to 625 people is for Obama, my children and their spouses are pro- Obama. My grandchildren are also pro- Obama. As a Super Delegate, I would not disclose who I am rooting for but I leave you to make that guess," he said.

Rupert Murdoch, the owner of the News Corp empire that includes Fox News, New York Post, Twentieth Century Fox, BSkyB, Wall Street Journal, The Sun, The Times, News of the World, Sunday Times, etc. is backing Hillary Clinton.

However, his daughter, Elisabeth Murdoch, who runs a television production company, is hosting a London fundraising event for Barack Obama later this month.

His son, James Murdoch, head of News Corp's European and Asian operations, has also been associated with Al Gore's environmental campaign.

The ever charming Ann Coulter compares Obama's book to Mein Kampf

http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=25831

Has anybody read the book? I assume the quotes were taken out of context.

If he wins the PA primaries Hillary should throw in the towel.

Recent polls shoe McCain slightly in front. Hopefully that will reverse by November

Elisabeth Murdoch, who runs a television production company, is hosting a London fundraising event for Barack Obama later this month.

More Millions for Obama? Of course a favorable press from old man Murdoch would be worth more. Stranger things have happened.

I know that my two daughters, both now adults, are still able to hypnotize me at will, and make me do anything they want, provided only that I possess (or can borrow) the means to their wish fulfillment.

The ever charming Ann Coulter compares Obama's book to Mein Kampf

Ann is more than charming, IMO. She is a HOTTIE. Of course everybody knows she has right-wing bats in the belfry,

so anyone who believes her will already be predisposed to vote Republican. The Republicans will bore in on Obama's

patriotism every which way, but Ann's Hitler analogy is more damaging to herself than it is to the bold Barack.

If he wins the PA primaries Hillary should throw in the towel.

If the bold Barack is declared the winner of the Pennsylvania primary, then Hillary will either concede with grace or be laughed out of town.

St. Samantha de Power

Yet it's clear from what Power says on the record that the Red Sox fanatic remains deeply frustrated over how the brouhaha played out. Americans, she notes, "don't talk like political robots," and neither does she.

"It was the kind of thing you say at a baseball game about Alex Rodriguez," Power observes. "It's not a thing that you mean about a human being."

http://www.philly.com/philly/entertainment/17254179.html

Rodriguez, known as A-ROD is the ace slugger on the New York Yankees.

I have said before that the bold Barack was an Obamateur when he forced St. Samantha de Power to resign.

Did he not know that Samantha lived in PENNSYLVANIA when she first came to America? Well readers of the Entertainment page of the Philly Inquirer (by far the most important newspaper for voters in this primary) will know that now.

If Obama had half a brain he would SEIZE POWER and BRING BACK SAMANTHA NOW.

Ben Smith in Politico, considered a reliable source.

Another high-stakes voter registration drive just concluded in Pennsylvania, where the deadline to register as a Democrat and participate in the primary was March 24. The Pennsylvania Department of State reports that more than 234,000 voters have either newly registered as Democrats or switched from other parties, and the state hasn't finished counting the new registrations.

"We put together a massive effort," said Hildebrand, saying that the numbers include "over 200k Obama supporters" - an impressive number, and likely more than 10 percent of the total turnout in the primary.

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2008/04/02/...in3988307.shtml

Big Ben implies a turnout of 2 Million would be big. There are now 4 Million registered Democrats in the state.

Obama leads by 700,000 in the popular vote up to now, or 400,000 if you add in Florida & Michigan.

Under her "popular vote" theory, Hillary needs a victory close to 10% or 200,000 popular votes to make the case, with a straight face, that she is gaining on Obama and CAN win the overall popular vote. That will be enough to keep SOME superdelegates on board, as well as some big Moneymen.

But the further below a 10% win she goes when the primary votes are tallied ........

Senator Barack Obama’s support among Democrats nationally has softened over the last month, particularly among men and upper-income voters, as voters have taken a slightly less positive view of him than they did after his burst of victories in February, according to the latest New York Times/CBS News poll.
