Some of these really belong in the DJ WARS topic, whole bands/dj's/groups were formed to shape a significant part of the genre, dj x versus Bob, which really typifies the DJwars from around the years of the turn of the century, as a time of free source music, and some of the things that people across the world did to older songs to express them in a new way was phenomenal there for a while
