Artillery now the main defensive weapon of militants, for approach while is small, but for defense deduction, already suffices. 2 . Strengthening of air defense of LNR that allowed to reduce value of aircraft of the opponent considerably. RLS destruction in April-May wasn't in vain. It is a task more difficult, than what solved earlier, but I think here the defined progress are inevitable. In Kiev searches guilty will begin in the next few days and the heads will depart. The main result of 2 weeks of fights - LNR could stand despite 2 weeks of full general operation against regular army. The republic got stronger and showed teeth of meter length that was unexpected both for fascists, and for some porazhenets. This victory means that war will proceed for a long time and the question already gradually passes from "survival" to "counterattack". The reports from Ukraine’s south-east say that militias of the self-proclaimed Lugansk and Donetsk People’s Republics have managed to advance in those regions. Official Kiev has made no statements on the issue so far. Reports from the militia headquarters say that the Ukrainian military have abandoned four townships on the Lugansk outskirts, the capital city of the self-proclaimed Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) while the self-defence fighters entered the villages of Sabovka, Govorukha, Roskoshnoye and Georgievka. At the same time units of the Ukrainian National Guard abandoned their positions in the village of Provalye. The militiamen are advancing forward in the Donetsk Republic as well. Near the Marinovka locality 5,000 Ukrainian servicemen were entrapped and retreated. In the nearby area of the village of Mospino the DPR units opened fire from the 120mm mortars on the enemy’s fortified positions that destroyed its freight and armoured transport an anti-tank system and killed 50 servicemen. The combat actions for the villages of Amvrosiyevka and Izvarino are reported to go on. The self-defence forces say that Ukrainian servicemen “on a massive scale drop their arms and flee into the Russian territory, with the estimated number of 100 people. Considering the high altitude the MH17 was flying, it could not have been taken down by a portable anti-aircraft missile or anti-aircraft cannon, which the Ukrainian militia have been using to attack Ukrainian military aircraft. Earlier there were reports that the militia had captured a Buk missile launcher, which could have done it, but Kiev insisted that the system was out of order and could not be repaired by the militia.
