Robert Hughes film shows a muzzle flash from the third floor of the records building?

P.S. This all works quite well when taking into account the adjustment Myers used to create his multi-sync film project.

Think of it this way. If I'm running on an oval race track and I'm on the outside lane while my competitor is running on the inside lane, who has to run farther around the turn?

Take that distance difference, subtract it from where you see the limo start on the extant zfilm. Between that span is where you'll find the witnesses placing the first shot.

Now realize that Towner's camera shot at 18.3fps (that's a 8mm camera) not the BS 22.8fps that Myers used and you'll understand how the time element was    adjusted to sync with the distance difference.

Then realize, these people thought the noise came from the TSBD 6th floor, instead of its true origin.

Or this way, if it's any easier:

Time difference for Towner's camera using Myer's 22.8fps and true fps of 18.3:
167/22.8 = 7.324 sec
167/18.3 = 9.125 sec
Difference = 1.8 seconds x 18.3fps = 33frames
15 frame gap Towner End to Z beginning per Myers
+
18 frames back from Towner End = Gif

Chris, I am looking at your film clip that you shared with us.  Why can we see the frame in between the film sprockets at first then we can't?

Keyvan,

I don't have the sprocket hole segment for that part of Towner. Never been able to locate it.

All ears if someone does.

Found it at the Sixth Floor Museum - http://emuseum.jfk.org/view/objects/asitem/search@/4/title-asc?t:state:flow=f7e1908d-3c99-4e36-acf5-9c6a405c0408

Hi Cory, I do want to throw this in your conversation with Ron.  There where twelve Harley Davidson motorcycles in the motorcade - three advance motorcycles, five lead motorcycles and four presidential motorcycles. http://jfk.hood.edu/Collection/Weisberg Subject Index Files/M Disk/Motorcade Route/Item 15.pdf

1. That's plenty of noise there as you probably know that Harley's are loud.

2. There is a witness who states that he heard a shot where the presidential motorcade would be if there was a shot from the records building.  Chris Davidson provided this link of a witness who stated as such - https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BwrExtVD005OS2NpTzhwUmpYNlE/view

Interesting point, but as for the noise caused by the patrols, did any witnesses state there was significant noise caused by the patrols?  I recall most witnesses clearly stating the approximate areas of where the shots came from, what they heard, screaming, etc.  I do not recall anyone stating significant noise caused by the cycles.

Yes, there were several motor patrols, but they were all in different areas at the time of this alleged shot.  They were not all on Houston Street where this alleged shot came from.  Besides, even with background noise -assuming arguendo that the cycles were all near that street and causing significant noise- people not accustomed to gun shots jump when they hear rifles, especially if it is right over their head.  There is no evidence of this in the video.  Lastly, its a terrible position as it is too low and provides no cover or concealment as opposed to the sixth floor of the BD or the grassy knoll for example.

As for the video, it is merely an 8 second video of a guy pointing to the book depository.  The person does not state shots came from records building in the clip you linked above.  Is there some other video where he states this?

Here is the testimony of Amos Lee Euins - http://mcadams.posc.mu.edu/russ/testimony/euins.htm

He believes there were four shots.  Before the motorcade passed by he saw what he thought was a pipe in the sixth floor window.

My understanding is that he heard the first shot, looked up in the window and saw Oswald shoot the second, third and fourth shot.

This will conclude the witness triangulation.

Third car back would be the one with the door partially open in Hughes.

I'd say this SS agent nailed it.
