Just viewed Trump's televised message to the people from Walter Reed hospital.

In an earlier post I stated that Trump could not take being in lockdown quarantine due to his extreme Adult Attention Deficit Disorder. Especially in the White House which he hates.

I laughed when Trump actually verified my assessment in spades in his talk.

He admitted he could not stay locked down like millions of others have had to endure that have been diagnosed with the virus. He has to have lots of people all around and be fussed over constantly. The center of attention with a live audience.

And my guess is his wife was relieved to have peace and quiet in her lockdown.

Listen to Trump's Walter Reed talk. Especially the part where he says he could never stay by himself in the White House. It's like a Saturday Night Live skit, imo.

Also, without his orange sun tan makeup he looks extremely pale.

My guess is he doesn’t want to stay in the hospital because it will make it difficult to hide his drug addictions.

I think it's more like drugs are addicted to him.

Hydroxychloroquine, for example, has a well-known craving for him.

Even bleach has tried to get in on the action.

One lesson I have learned from many past presidential election polls is to consider them with great caution. From months out right up to election day.

Reagan's successful "October Surprise" negotiated release of the Iranian hostages ( versus Carter's pathetic "unsuccessful"  equipment breakdown rescue operation effort in the desert  ) combined with a huge nationwide Wag The Dog - "Reagan As Hero" worshipping propaganda campaign with incessant day and night playing of the sentimental song "Tie A Yellow Ribbon Round The Old Oak Tree" and millions of yellow ribbons actually being tied around trees definitely effected the polls in Reagan's favor in 1980.

The election results of 2,000 ( the federal Supreme Court shut down the Florida vote count ) and 2004 ( remember the exit polls in Ohio? ) and especially 2016 definitely defied many of the polls.

The first few days of October has "already"  produced political surprises beyond anyone's imagination and with this super aggressive president and his super wealthy and powerful backers I guarantee we will see more.

With that said, I also heard the day after the debate Trump brag that "he won" that debate. And Mike Huckabee on his TV show agreed and explained why.

They both trashed moderator Chris Wallace. Saying he shamelessly favored Joe Biden.

Even though we know these claims heard by the entire nation are the opposite of reality, polls show tens of millions actually and cultishly accept them as truth.

This reported 14 point poll Biden lead sounds great to the Democrats in a sane and rational citizenry world, but reality is our national state world right now is anything but sane and rational.

Polls in a warped irrational mind set of millions of Americans like that can change instantly and hugely on a contrived October Surprise event dime ... imo.

This is the thing I have been most afraid of.

In an interview with Chris Wallace on 10/04/20, Trump advisor, Steve Cortes said,

“The fact that he still got infected shows us that unfortunately this virus has that kind of power,” Cortes said. “The president, though, and he’s made this clear, he was unwilling to completely sequester himself, to take no risk, because leaders take risks. And he is the servant of the people as well as the commander-in-chief and so he said he must be around the people he serves. He took reasonable risks.”

A while back, I wrote an essay that compared Donald Trump’s inauguration speech to Eva Peron’s Speech to the Descamisados on October 17, 1951

https://www.marxists.org/history/argentina/peron/1951/speech.htm

And I had to come to thank all of you, my beloved descamisados from all corners of the fatherland for being willing to risk your lives for Perón. I was certain that you knew – as did I – how to serve as Perón’s entrenchment. The enemies of the people, of Perón and the Fatherland, have also long known that Perón and Eva Perón are ready to die for this people. Now they also know that the people are ready to die for Perón.

Compañeros, I ask just one thing today: that all of us publicly vow to defend Perón and to fight for him until death. And our oath will be shouted for a minute so that our cry can reach the last corner of the earth: Our lives for Peron!”

I noted that they shared several similar themes:

  • I am you and you are me

  • Together we fight the oligarchy

  • God is on our side

  • I will die for you

  • Ergo…

Trump, apparently, signed a blank piece of paper during his photo op from Walter Reed.

Was it his healthcare plan?  🤥

Steve,

Maybe I'd go along with that if he would've come out and told  folks to  wear or not to  masks but him not, and said something like he was going to be available to the people--shake hands, get close--be approachable if they wanted him to be. Nope. He called it a hoax. It had nothing to do with who would die for who.

Yes Kathy...he called it all "a hoax" for all these months and hundreds of times over and over again.

Not a real threat risk he was personally and bravely willing to take take to show us all inspiring brave leadership.

One of the worst, most irresponsible consequences of his propagation of the mask and separation warning issue as a hoax is that millions emulated his mask warning hoax beliefs and have spread the virus to millions of others in doing so.

Kathy,

I see his superspreader campaign rallies combined with his belief in herd "mentality" (grin), as nothing less than trying to spread the corona virus as much as possible. He and advisors always shrug it off as "individual choice", but he's asking them to put their lives on the line "for him".

To say nothing of what he is going to ask them to do between November and January if he loses.

If the massive medical treatment ( 10 specialists-expensive drugs ) protocol being used to treat Trump works in mitigating his Covid afflicted symptoms and over-all condition and perhaps a complete recovery, do you think that the rest of the country's citizens should have the right to demand a similar medical treatment response for themselves or loved ones who come down with the virus or are currently afflicted and suffering through it?

Or, is this expensive all out treatment luxury only reserved for our President?

Imagine the outcry if Reagan had gotten AIDS in the no cure middle of that plague and was successfully cured with a different level of treatment than everyone else?

Leader of the all the people? All for one, one for all?

Also, police all over the nation for weeks now have been shutting down no mask, no social distancing gatherings even less attended and virus spreading risk egregious than the White House Rose Garden Amy Coney Barrett honoring event one last week.

These college kids can't get away with such behavior. Citations, even arrests have been issued and made!

And look at the real and significant virus spreading damage the WH Rose Garden gathering has actually caused!

The equal under the law blind justice lady scale is off right now, don't you think?

Obviously his only health care plan was to help spread the virus, catch it himself, and go to the hospital.

He looks so pale. If the hospital doctors won't let him have his orange makeup or tanning equipment, he should ask them if they could inject him with some Agent Orange.
