The inevitable end result of our last 56 years

Recommended Posts

In an interview with Sean Hannity last night, Donald Trump said that he had a friend who told him that he was "the most perfect person". He then turned to the audience and asked them what they thought.

Do you have any idea what it feels like, knowing that I have a President of my country who talks to imaginary friends?

Steve, does Hannity have a live audience now (I'm not going to tune in to his show to find out), or by "audience" do you mean that Trump turned to the camera?

You could be wrong about "imaginary." Trump's "friend" could be a real person. Kim Jong Un, since we know that he and Trump are in love. (Trump has said it, so we know that it's true.)

Ron,

It was a "town hall". (I think there were six people there).

You can watch a video clip of his "friend" here:

Some people have said that he sees this friend every time he looks in the mirror, but I wouldn't know about that.

I heard about it and tuned in for most of the Hannity town hall. When it became apparent Hannity and the audience were just just going to ask questions trying to cheer lead Trump's Presidency, as I expected, I started working on my computer.

Then this morning I see this headline that "Trump seems resigned Biden will win", and is quoted as saying "Biden's going to win because some people don't love me" last night in the town hall with Hannity. I didn't hear that, but I tuned a lot of it out, and I could have missed it.

That Trump is cutting funds to the states for testing has lead some pundits to conclude that Trump no longer wants to be President. He's taken this cavalier stand against the pandemic and the death totals just keep going up so they will be above the nightmare scenario of 100-150K deaths, that they projected back in April, which at the time was horrifying to the public! But we know we'll now reach 150K within a couple of months! His saying now that "testing is overrated" was so moronic in the first place. I don't know, was he thinking people would admire him simply for going against the grain of all intelligent thought? Even to the point that they could lose some loved ones?

Kirk, haven't you figured it out yet? He's crazy. (Not as in "a wild and crazy guy," but as in a mental basket case.) If you want the details, ask our resident psychiatrist. He has him pegged just as other psychiatrists have pegged him. Actually by now you don't even have to be a psychiatrist.

Mary Trump once stood up to her uncle Donald - now her book describes a 'nightmare' of family dysfunction

From the article:  Actually, Mary Trump had embarked on a new career. She studied patients with schizophrenia at Hillsdale Hospital on Long Island for at least six months during this period, meeting with an array of people who were delusional, hallucinatory and suicidal.

Over time, she deepened her studies of the disorder, contributed to a book on treating schizophrenia, wrote a dissertation on stalkers, and became a clinical psychologist. But not since she became part of the lawsuit in 2000 against her uncle has she spoken in detail about what she sees as the disorders of Donald Trump.

Now her silence could be coming to an end. Her book about her uncle - "Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World's Most Dangerous Man" - is slated to be published next month. The book is so potentially explosive that the Trump family is seeking to block publication, citing a confidentiality agreement that Mary Trump signed as part of a settlement about her inheritance. Mary Trump's lawyer, Theodore Boutrous Jr., said the president is trying to "suppress a book that will discuss matters of utmost public importance."

The publisher has not revealed specifics, and Mary Trump, 55, declined an interview request. But clues to her dark view of her uncle can be seen in lawsuits, and interviews with former colleagues and teachers, academic papers and a series of now-deleted tweets, including one that said her uncle's election was the "worst night of my life."

A description of the book from publisher Simon & Schuster suggests it will draw heavily on her studies of family dysfunction, with Mary using her clinical background to dissect "a nightmare of traumas, destructive relationships and a tragic combination of neglect and abuse," including "the strange and harmful relationship between" her late father and Donald Trump.

I have a suggestion for the Democrats this year in regards to strategies to defeat Donald Trump.

In the recent 2017 Alabama Senatorial election Democrat Doug Jones defeated Republican Roy Moore.

It was a nail biting close election. Decided by what ... 21,900 votes!

It really was a shocking and historically important victory.

Alabama voted for Trump 62% to 34% for Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential election.

How in God's name could a somewhat moderate Democrat, ANY Democrat, defeat a typical Alabama "Good Ole" Boy" just one or two years after this state voted Republican by a huge 28% margin?

I think it was because of the introduction of one specific super dynamic voter effecting issue over all others ... sexual predation.

Roy Moore was labeled and pounded in the press as such and I believe that many, many women voters in Alabama were convinced of Moore's involvement in this behavior and just could not vote for someone they believed was guilty of this crime.

The charge was so deeply disturbing to these women voters that I suggest it actually over-ruled their main and deeply held long term generational justification for voting republican...race.

I think the deepest emotional fear and revulsion issue with most women is the sexual predator one. They feel lioness protective of themselves, their daughters and grand daughters in this way over any other survival and moral instinct.

That's how powerful this particular bad aspect of the candidates background and character can be in gaining or losing women's votes, but only if it is adequately kept in the campaign spotlight and lexicon as it was in the Jones/ Moore Alabama senatorial election.

In the case of Trump, his reputation as a sexual harasser and even predator has already been established enough and for such a long time ( laughably bolstered by his "Grab Em By The Pu$$y" tape ) that if the Democrats this year can make this issue one of their top two Trump attack messages, I truly believe that this would turn millions of American women against Trump in the next election. Even those who may have voted for him in 2016 for religious or racists reasons.

A broad coverage campaign idea I would suggest in this context is to contact certain celebrities who are against Trump ( and they then could spread the word to others like themselves ) to carry around the recent book on Trump "All The Presidents Women: Donald Trump And The Making Of A Sexual Predator."

The book in which 43 women were willing to have their names published along with their personal stories of unwanted and even traumatizing sexual encounters with Donald Trump.

And, whenever these celebrities encounter the paparazzi or are actually interviewed in other venues, they should carry the book around and display it in front of or next to themselves so that the book gets the national exposure it deserves.

They wouldn't even have to say one word about the book. Just the fact that it would be displayed in so many celebrity photo shots everyone who sees these photos would have to wonder what the book was about and why these celebrities feel it is so important to bring forth in the public discussion and mind set realm.

Make Biden favoring Celebrities your own campaign support staff!

But, it's this one Trump bad character exposing book over all others that will most deeply effect the American Women emotional and character judging sentiment and concern over choosing our next president imo.

None of the other Trump bad character issues...lying, corruption, race baiting, abusing executive authority and stomping on the Congressional ones, insulting others to a shameless degree, tax cheating, business dealings with nefarious characters, sleeping with porn stars while his wife is pregnant, paying women off, coddling dictators and insulting our allies ... none of them would hit the emotional level that the sexual predator issue would and as it did in the 2017 Alabama senatorial election between Republican good ole boy Roy Moore and Democrat Doug Jones, which saw an unprecedented vote change from a 28% winning vote margin of victory for Trump over Hillary Clinton to a majority vote victory vote for Democrat Doug Jones over Republican Roy Moore in their soon after senatorial election.

My take is this one book  " All The President's Women: Donald Trump And The Making Of A Sexual Predator"  could effect this election in favor of the Democrats via the women's vote more than any other critical book published during Trump's crazy presidency.

Call to all Trump concerned celebrities:

Carry and display this book like Trump supporters wear those silly red MAGA ball caps, anywhere and everywhere and to as many social gatherings as possible.

Hold it up in front of the cameras every opportunity you can.

Heck, maybe even creating and wearing Democratic "blue" ball caps that say " We Cannot Vote For A Sexual Predator!" ?

Joe,

I thought Trump was finished after Billy Bush and Access Hollywood released the notorious "Grab 'Em By the Pussy" tape in 2016.  But the tape, obviously, had very little impact on Trump's base-- partly because Fox, Breitbart, and the conservative media have consistently run interference on any negative press about Trump.

And the M$M (including NYT and WaPo) also colluded bigly in smearing Hillary in 2016, running weekly headline stories about Hillary's Emails.

My question.  What can possibly put a dent in the fixed delusions of the Trump Cult?

It's a personality cult, but it is also largely predicated on Caucasian tribalism, xenophobia, and the delusional belief that Don Mar-a-Lago will be good for the economy, and will "deliver the goods."

Ron,

No sane person would move to cut off health insurance to millions of people in the middle of an epidemic.

Joe Scarborough is speculating that Trump does not want to be President, and he is deliberately making himself unelectable.

Scarborough speculates that Trump will resign before the Republican National Convention, saying; not that he is too incompetent, but that the communistic, socialistic, media mobs made it impossible for him to serve a glorious second term.

Trump fears the rejection of losing, even more than the success of winning. He would not be able to stand the thought of losing the election by the largest margin in U.S. history.

It's too bad about all the sycophants he will take down with him, and I guess he will not be able to get his face on Mt. Rushmore after all.

It's not too bad at all. Good riddance to all of them. It will be the nearest Trump came to draining the swamp (after he helped infest it).

Trump knows he is going to lose, and IMO has a plan  to rob the election by some nefarious reason. Maybe declaring `martial law when the Earth is threatened by aliens. Sounds crazy but this guy is the  craziest ever.

Be sure when he loses, as he surely will, he won't; go quietly without an unholy fight to stop Joe Biden taking over.

Agreed Ron. Goodbye to the disgusting Moscow Mitch McCoward, goodbye to Fatty Barrbuckle and goodbye to Mike Pompouseo. The main part of the new swamp which needs draining.

I don't think you necessarily need a psychiatrist to see that Trump is crazy. But what kind of crazy? Despite his denials Trump follows polls just as any politician. As strange as it sounds, up to now, there was some kind of sense to a lot of Trump's actions at pleasing his base but it's always been about 3/8 of the population base.

Though Trump never leaves off the table he could do something crazy. I tend to think it's just talk. I think he'll run the filthiest campaign in American election history. But I think the majority are hep to him. My guess is that if loses by more than 3%, he goes. It's kind of strange but right now, Biden could beat Trump in his Desi Arnaz pajamas. Maybe even sleep this one out!

Joe, I do tend to agree with William. First I thought when he insulted Mc Cain's 5 year  POW sacrifice, and bashed him for getting caught. I thought that would kill him with his  party. It actually almost did. But then with the pussy grabbing incident, I felt like William, that he can't possibly get elected, but the proof in the pudding was that he actually beat Hillary Clinton with white women.

Maybe there's some truth in that old Waylon Jennings song "Ladies Love Outlaws."

Ladies love outlaws like babies love stray dogs
Ladies touch babies like a banker touches gold
And outlaws touch the ladies
Somewhere deep down in their soul.
