I have added it to the calender. The Wild West Time: 08:00 to 09:00 Date: Sunday 25th January Station: History Channel 1845-1861 - Westward Ho! (Part 1). Series documenting the horrors, bitterness and cruelty that began when the Californian gold rush started in 1849. The Native Americans who lived to the west of the Mississippi found themselves in a fierce war with the whites as they attempted to preserve their rights, their way of life and finally their lives in the face of bewildering aggression.
