I'm based in the UK and I'm a writer. I was previously an international features journalist covering business and conflict but now I write books and screenplays. I have a book coming out in April called Under The Wire, about a remarkable WWII prisoner of war escape artist. I'm interested in the way history is taught and indeed in the strange

division between arts and sciences that seems so common in the UK education system.
