Good Day All.... Saw this auction on eBay and thought you may want to save the above photo.

Seller claims the LF photo has never been published and he/she still has the negative.

If you click on the photo after the eBay auction description, it opens into a separate link where the photo is even larger (same photo linked above).....

"We dare not forget today that we are the heirs of that first revolution. Let the word go forth from this time and place, to friend and foe alike, that the torch has been passed to a new generation of Americans--born in this century, tempered by war, disciplined by a hard and bitter peace, proud of our ancient heritage--and unwilling to witness or permit the slow undoing of those human rights to which this nation has always been committed, and to which we are committed today at home and around the world.

Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe to assure the survival and the success of liberty.

This much we pledge--and more."

---- President JOHN F. KENNEDY, 20JAN61 inaugural address

Don,

The photographer's name is: Arthur KRIEGER

Source: http://jfkmurderphotos.bravehost.com/photos.html

The seller's nickname is arthurk215

...and the photo was already published before, because... I already have several copies.

You'll see by comparing the photo from ebay and the other hereunder that both are differently cropped (slightly) on the edges.

Best regards...

DENIAL !!!

I was wrong by thinking that the author of this photograph was Arthur Krieger.

Even if this photo is often presented as been taken by Arthur Krieger.

An example among others HERE

Hereunder some explanations that Gary Mack sent to me.

Marcel,

The photographer was NOT Krieger and the picture was not taken at Love Field as the seller suggested. It was taken miles away near downtown Dallas and the picture was widely distributed in the Dallas area in 1964. All this guy has is a negative OF the picture and he assumed his relative had taken the picture.

More from Gary Mack... :hotorwot

"Marcel,

As far as I know, the photographer's name is unknown to the general public.

I'd sure like to know for sure who it was.

It looks to me like it was at Love Field. The motorcade seems to be just about to leave the airport. If not, there were certainly only a few hard lefts like this on the route and it should be easy to figure.

Good call, that open space of cement looks more like the airfield than a city street.

Gentlemen,

My first thought was also that the photo was taken on Love Field runaway track.

Gary Mack (see above) does not agree...

...and I think he's right.

Simply because, there were no bystander on Love Field runaway track, they were behind grids.

Also, see the Groden's DVD "Assassination Films - Dallas Cinema Associated" :)

This compilation of amateur movies shows the Presidential Limo leaving Love Field airport.

Best regards...

From Gary Mack:

"Marcel,

Upon further review, I can confirm that the photograph was taken on Turtle Creek Boulevard near the turn onto Cedar Springs Road. That location was about half-way between Love Field and downtown Dallas.

The key lies in the sun/shadow angles and knowing where the sun was at the time. The only time the car headed directly into the sun, causing the shadows to fall straight down and behind, was when the car was on that street.

I use that analysis method every time new motorcade photos come to my attention.

This one stands a better chance of being 'never seen before.' I went back and forth with the seller months ago. This seller has a few slides of the motorcade, but no shots within the plaza.

These are interesting also. I pasted two of them together. These were the ones I found most significant. Some views of Parkland I have never seen before are also available.

Good stuff, Lee.

Two comments. The group in the first shot seem to be the "nucleus" of the larger gathering a few minutes later (the hammerman photo)

The bottom photo is in black and white except for one officers face.

Anyone recognize any suspects in these two photos?
