Dingell Town Hall in Romulus, Michigan: Real Politics Have

Reawakened!

Aug. 7 (LPAC)--Lyndon LaRouche's political forecast of the coming

lynch mobs against Obama's economic policies, was demonstrated

anew last night in Romulus, Michigan...

It’s hard to imagine that living on his secluded compound in Virginia with little contact with anyone who isn’t a sycophantic follower LaRouche has the pulse of the people. Despite his assertions to the contrary Obama remains popular.

Len Colby chimes in once again.

Let's remember this Colby analysis of Obama's popularity. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Terry - it's unlike you to resort to name calling. You're better than that. Attack the argument, not the poster.

Evan I dont consider it name calling. Besides it is interesting to see how "Johnny on the spot" you are in sanitizing truthful statements regarding your pet.

How long did it take for you to answer the 911 call?

If you're going to delete my statement why not take a look at Colby's characterization that preceeded my response?

I didn’t ask the right question. I’d like to see a citation that they make and release copies of the original document you want to see.

Are you suggesting that his long form birth cetificate is not available ( hint: the State of Hawaii says it is) and that they would deny the President of the United Staed a copy? As far as I can tell the President of the United States has never asked so exactly how can there be a cite?

I'm not contesting his citzenship Len, only his total lack of openness in regards to his records, the long form certificate of live birth included.

So do you doubt he was born in the US or not? If so please answer the questions from my previous post

My statement above is quite precise and carefully worded.

BTW can you direct us to these Obama documents?

Occidental College records

Columbia College records

Columbia Thesis paper

Harvard College records

Selective Service Registration

Medical records

None of this is relevant to where he was born. McCain refused to release his records from the Naval Academy*. Obama’s 25 year-old Columbia thesis seems to have been lost. You went to college, do you still have your papers? I did but I don’t. Why do you want to see his selective service records? I agree though he should have released his medical records.

I never said it was relevant to the citizenship issue, and its a strawman that you ask the question. Bad Len Colby.

McCain? Not an issue here. Strawman.

My transcripts? Not an issue here. Strawman.

Your transcripts? Not an issue here. Strawman

Selective service? Stilll missing in action

* http://www.eduinreview.com/blog/2008/10/jo...ollege-records/

Illinois State Senate records

Illinois State Senate schedule

What exactly do you think is missing? Some of these records seem to be available. Are the equivalent House and Senate records for McCain public?

http://74.125.47.132/search?q=cache:qwJpoM...s-state-senate/

Whats missing? Surely you jest! How about HIS ACTUAL RECORDS....

McCain, again another legendary Colby strawman.

Law practice client list

Presumably confidential as part of lawyer client privilege and he seems to have worked mostly in the background doing research and writing memos. In any case a few articles have referred directly and indirectly to some of his clients.

http://articles.latimes.com/2008/apr/06/na.../na-obamalegal6

http://www.suntimes.com/news/politics/obam...a-law17.article

Please. They talk about the clients and cases of his Attorney General...why not Obama?. His Law Clients list...still missing in action.

Harvard Law Review articles that were published

University of Chicago scholarly articles

IIRC he doesn’t seem to have written anything for the HLR, what evidence do have that there are any missing “University of Chicago scholarly articles”

What? The president of the Harvard Law Review and a "professor" at the University of Chicago has nothing at all published? My thats odd. I guess those things would be missing in action as well. I wonder how many other PRES. HLR and "professor" at UC have nothing published?

FLAG THAT FISH

That's what I'm going to call it - The Fishy File.

And besides the long list of items tagged, corrected and released by Dave Emery at the Urban Legends site, I'm going to start by FLAGGING this story from Fox News.

It is impossible for Obama to have gone through multible political campaigns against much more vicious opponents every one of whom vetted Obama with a fine tooth comb, so the idea that his birth certificate, college transcripts and health records have not been checked by the Devil himself is not possible.

As they successfully did during the campaign, they quickly identified any open source published or posted article that didn't actually reflect the statements and policies of the candidate.

As we have seen, there has been a conserted and relentless attack on Obama and his policies, an opposition that is expected, and officially represented by the Republican Party.

But we have also seen and expect this opposition to come from the media, and political pundants, and Young Americans For Freedom Yahoos, and your right wing, conservative reactionaries, because they are reactionaries - and this is an excellent example.

The spin, direct from Carl Rove's flip side of reality office, and brought to you live by FOX News - is that the attempts to identify and correct open source published or posted information that is wrong - is actually an attempt to collect names and stiffle free speech.

Just as I was accused of stiffiling free speech by Craig Lamson, here Obama is accused of the same thing for trying to correct the published record of wrong information.

So now I'm going to start Flagging Fishy Stories, beginning with this one, which proves there is something rotten in Denmark, as I can smell it from Fox News.

There is no attempt to collect names, as the White House points out, and no attempt to stiffle free speech, but you wouldn't know that from this FOX NEWS report:

White House Move to Collect 'Fishy' Info May Be Illegal, Critics Say

The White House has been under fire since posting a blog on Tuesday that asks supporters to e-mail any "fishy" information seen on the Web or received electronically.

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2009/08/07...al-critics-say/

The White House strategy of turning supporters into snitches when they see "fishy" information about the health care debate may run afoul of the law, legal experts say.

"The White House is in bit of a conundrum because of this privacy statute that prohibits the White House from collecting data and storing it on people who disagree with it," Judge Andrew Napolitano, a FOX News analyst, said Friday.

"There's also a statute that requires the White House to retain all communications that it receives. It can't try to rewrite history by pretending it didn't receive anything," he said.

"If the White House deletes anything, it violates one statute. If the White House collects data on the free speech, it violates another statute."

Napolitano was referring to the Privacy Act of 1974, which was passed after the Nixon administration used federal agencies to illegally investigate individuals for political purposes. Enacted after Richard Nixon's resignation in the Watergate scandal, the statute generally prohibits any federal agency from maintaining records on individuals exercising their right to free speech.

The White House has been under fire since it posted a blog on Tuesday that asked supporters to e-mail any "fishy" information seen on the Web or received electronically to flag@whitehouse.gov.

"There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there," the blog said, adding that "since we can't keep track of all of them here at the White House, we're asking for your help."

The blog was posted partly in response to a video posted on the Web that claimed to show Obama explaining how his health care reform plans eventually will eliminate private insurance.

The video, featured on the Drudge Report, strung together selected Obama statements that the White House said were taken out of context.

The White House said it wanted to be made aware of "fishy" comments about its health care plan because it wants to set the record straight. But critics called White House move an Orwellian tactic designed to control the health care debate.

"This is a very troubling attempt to stifle the free speech of Americans who have the constitutional right to express their opinion and concerns about health care," said Jay Sekulow, chief counsel of the American Center for Law and Justice. He called on Obama to repudiate his blog.

"This move is an attempt to intimidate those who have legitimate concerns about the health care plan," Sekulow said. "And, worse, it turns the White House into some sort of self-appointed 'speech police.' This new White House reporting program strikes at the heart of the First Amendment and has no place in this important debate about health care."

Sekulow said he imagines that opponents of mandatory abortion coverage are engaging in what the White House considers "fishy" speech and should be reported.

"What the White House is touting is absurd," he said.

But Napolitano said the White House probably cannot be sued because of sovereign immunity, unless someone was harmed by what the government did with the records. But that's unlikely, he said, because the person would probably be unaware of the harm.

"That's a silent violation of your right to privacy," he said.

The ACLU said in a statement to FOXNews.com that the White House blog is a "bad idea that could send a troublesome message."

But the organization added, "While it is unclear at this point what the government is doing with the information it is collecting, critics of the administration's health care proposal should not fear that their names will end up in some government database that could be used to chill their right to free speech."

The White House Thursday denied that it was playing "Big Brother."

"Nobody is collecting names," White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said. "We have seen, and as I've discussed from this podium, a lot of misinformation around health care reform, a lot of it spread, I think, purposefully."

Texas Sen. John Cornyn, who has called on Obama to end the program, rejected the White House explanation.

"Of course the White House is collecting names," he said, arguing that anyone with access to the e-mail account has access to private information.

"The question is not what the White House is doing, but how and why," he said. "How are they purging names and e-mail addresses from this account to protect privacy? Why do they need the forwarded e-mails, names, and 'casual conversations' sent to them instead of just the arguments that they want to rebut?

Asked by FOX News whether the White House was using the blog post as a way to expand the e-mail list for the administration and Obama's political arm, Organizing for America, Gibbs said the two are "not in any way connected" and repeated that the White House is not collecting names.

Pressed about the program's goal, Gibbs said it was to clarify for everybody what the misinformation is, adding that's not a new tactic.

"When you make a mistake in your report, sometimes I e-mail you," Gibbs said to FOX News' Major Garrett. "Occasionally, I call. Sometimes I just throw something against the wall. Occasionally, it's all three."

Garrett asked why it's necessary to ask so many people to e-mail the White House.

"All we're asking people to do is, if they're confused about what health care reform is going to mean to them, we're happy to help clear that up for them. Nobody's keeping anybody's names. I do have your e-mail. ...Maybe that's because I assume future mistakes. But I'm not going to say that," Gibbs said, drawing laughter.

"But nobody's collecting information," he added. "Everybody is trying to give people only the facts around what we all understand is a very complicated issue."

So what is it Bill? Are they not collecting names and breaking the law or are they collecting names and breaking the law?

But hey, either way, don't worry, they promise not to do anything bad with the data....promise!

Can you imagine this being the GWB Whitehouse and the xxxxstorm coming from the the likes of Bill Kelly?

Hey, the Bush White House deleted and lost four years of emails and you didn't hear beep from Judge Andrew Napolitano, Fox News or a xxxxstorm from Bill Kelly.

The birthers who complain about Obama’s “missing” records remind me of the “truthers” who complain about the lack of serial numbers from the Boeings, because for the most part they’ve been unable to demonstrate that such records should be available.

“The long form is drawn up by the hospital and includes additional information such as birth weight and parents' hometowns. The short form is printed by the state and draws from a database with fewer details. The Hawaii Department of Health's birth record request form does not give the option to request a photocopy of your long-form birth certificate, but their short form has enough information to be acceptable to the State Department.”

http://www.factcheck.org/elections-2008/born_in_the_usa.html

I'm not contesting his citzenship Len, only his total lack of openness in regards to his records, the long form certificate of live birth included.

So do you doubt he was born in the US or not? If so please answer the questions from my previous post

My statement above is quite precise and carefully worded.

“Quite precise… carefully worded” and vague contesting and doubting are not the same. It’s a yes or no question.

Presumably confidential as part of lawyer client privilege and he seems to have worked mostly in the background doing research and writing memos. In any case a few articles have referred directly and indirectly to some of his clients.

Please. They talk about the clients and cases of his Attorney General...why not Obama?. His Law Clients list...still missing in action.

Not a good analogy. When Obama was in private practice he was a low level, low profile lawyer mostly researching and writing memos, mostly for low profile clients. When Holder was in private practice he’d been at the DoJ for 25 years except for 5 year stint as a judge and reached the #2 spot in the department. He was a high level, high profile attorney with many high profile clients. There is no list for either just media reports and court records. If you’d been paying attention you see that some of Obama’s clients have been named as well.

See my truther analogy above. Via Wkipedia and Google I was able to compile a list of 21 presidents of the Harvard Law Review 1926 – 2009 and none published anything during their presidencies though 5 published in articles after and one in 2002 before he became president. I searched Google Scholar which seems to have the full contents of the HLR and did Google site searches for the 2004 – 9 presidents because those are the issues they have online. Also it turns out he published one article anonymously. Many articles in the journal have no named authors.

Henry Jacob Friendly 1926 – 7 9 articles starting Fall 1927 after he graduated

Erwin Griswold 1927– 8 64 articles starting Fall 1928

Elliot L. Richardson 1946 – 7 0

If you want to know what's really going on then don't look for it in these meaningless arguments about birth certificates, etc. The fact is there is a transformation taking place in the population akin to a Mass strike revolt.

- From the Streets of America: -

- The Mass Strike Revolt Is On -

by Jeffrey Steinberg

Aug. 8--Yesterday morning, President Barack Obama abruptly

cancelled a scheduled appearance at Henderson Hall in Arlington,

Va., where he was to hold a town hall meeting on his health-care

``reform'' policy. Instead, he held a three-minute press

conference in the Rose Garden, read prepared remarks from a

teleprompter, and took no questions.

Today, the President's office announced that he had

cancelled a schedule of public appearances around the country, en

route to his vacation on Martha's Vineyard. Now, instead of

touring the country, promoting his health-care swindle, as

previously scheduled, the President is ducking for cover, taking

his family to the Grand Canyon, and then to the safety of Cape

Cod, Massachusetts. Mr. Obama, in short, is hiding out.

The same is true of the vast majority of members of the

House of Representatives and Senate. They have all gone into

hiding, in the face of a mass revolt of the American people,

against what they see as a total betrayal by their Federal

elected officials, starting with the President.

In the minds of the vast majority of Americans:

* The President has fully embraced and extended the Bush

Administration's policy of bailing out Wall Street and the

banks--to the tune of more than $23 trillion, while average

Americans continue to lose their jobs, their homes and their

health care at worse than Depression-era rates. A death-spiral is

already hitting some of the most vulnerable in the population,

and this will only get worse in the immediate days ahead.

* The President has been caught, repeatedly, in his own

words, advocating a policy of euthanasia and other radical cuts

in health-care services, all in the name of so-called ``reform,''

and ``saving the system.'' More and more Americans are coming to

realize that the President's policies are worse than those of

Adolf Hitler. As Lyndon LaRouche noted today, Hitler was smart

enough to wait until the war had begun to implement his genocidal

euthanasia schemes. Obama is going, flight-forward, for the same

policy of identifying whole categories of the population whose

lives are deemed ``no longer worthy of living,'' and he does not

intend to wait for anybody or anything.

The fact is, that the American people have awakened to

reality. And this is one slumbering giant that will have its

way--one way or the other. The United States of America has

entered a period of momentous revolt, the likes of which has not

been seen, since the French Revolution erupted on the streets of

Paris in 1789.

- The People Have Spoken -

Coinciding with LaRouche's Aug. 1 webcast, the American

people have taken to the streets, to voice their fury at what has

been dealt to them by their elected representatives in

Washington. The news of the week has been the mass turnout at

town hall meetings all over the country, called by once-popular

Congressmen, who, now, increasingly, won't dare show their faces

in public. Constituents have turned out in record numbers, to

shout down their elected representatives, and demand a total

change in policy--starting with health care.

In Romulus, Mich., where the official unemployment rate is

17%, but, in reality, is closer to double that figure, 1,000

citizens turned out to confront the formerly popular Rep. John

Dingell (D), who has served in the House since 1955. When

LaRouche PAC organizers held up a large poster, depicting

President Obama with a Hitler moustache, and the words ``I've

Changed,'' the crowd went wild with approval, taking pictures and

videos, and backing down police, who attempted to escort the

organizers outside the room where the event was being held, which

was only large enough to seat 150-200 people.

When a man in a wheelchair disrupted Dingell's talk,

accusing him of backing a policy that would kill his son, who

suffered from cerebral palsy, the police pulled him out of the

room. That incident was videotaped, and has been posted on the

Internet, where millions have seen it. Major news outlets, like

CNN, NBC, and the {Wall Street Journal}, have featured the

Obama-with-Hitler-moustache posted in their headline news

coverage of the revolt.

In a suburb of Tampa, Fla. Aug. 6, some 1,500 people showed

up for a town hall meeting with Rep. Kathy Castor (D). The event,

promoting Obama's health-care ``reform,'' was organized by the

White House-run Organizing for America and the Service Employees

International Union (SEIU). The majority of people in attendance

showed up to express their anger at the murderous policies of the

President and Congress, and, at one point, captured on video,

SEIU goons attacked some of the participants, causing a

near-riot.

In St. Louis, Mo. the same day, 1,000 citizens were locked

out of a widely advertised town hall meeting with Rep. Russ

Carnahan (D-Mo.), while SEIU members were ushered into the room

through a separate door. At that event, SEIU and Obama toughs

also attacked protesters, leading to six arrests.

Everywhere around the country, the exact same thing is

happening. Even Congressional Republicans, who oppose the Obama

euthanasia scheme, are finding that they, too, are not exempt

from the public wrath. Rep. Tom Petri (Wisc.) was confronted on

Aug. 7 by an angry crowd at a public appearance, and Rep. Bob

Inglis (S.C.) had to fend off a crowd of 350 furious constituents

this week. The angry voters were not at all satisfied at with a

pledge to vote against Obama's health-care fiasco. They want far,

far more out of their elected representatives.

The mass, spontaneous eruptions are not confined to

pre-scheduled public events either. While on the campaign trail

for a local candidate in the Denver area, Speaker of the House

Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) made an appearance at a community center,

was recognized, and was soon confronted by a crowd of angry

citizens. Word got out to nearby shops and buildings, and Pelosi

had to flee.

The Sargeant-at-Arms of the United States Senate issued a

warning to all Senators late last week, that they should take

precautions when they return to their home states, because they

could expect to face ``a true political uprising.''

- Making Matters Worse -

The response from the Obama White House to this popular

revolt has only served to make matters worse. For weeks, the

President has been urged by responsible Democratic legislators to

drop his health-care ``reforms,'' and accept the fact that the

American people have resoundingly rejected his claims that he can

``improve'' health care for all, through trillions of dollars in

cuts in services. The President has, so far, rejected all pleas

for sanity.

Instead, he and his top White House aides, have accused the

tens of thousands of protesters who have already taken to the

streets, of being ``right-wing professional agitators,'' ``Brooks

Brothers-suited rioters,'' and ``Brown Shirts.'' While the

President's men are putting out these patent lies, accusing ``Big

Pharma'' of putting up the cash to send professional agitators

from town to town, the reality is that the pharmaceutical

industry is in love with Obama's scheme, because it allows them

to keep up their price gouging. Indeed, the industry lobby, PhRMA

is pledged to spend between $150-200 million in an advertising

campaign this Autumn, {supporting} the President's so-called

health care reforms. And another front group for the industry,

Healthy Economy Now, is spending an additional $12 million in

advertising--to boost the Obama scheme.

In one extreme case of flight-from-reality, White House

officials have gone so far as to blame the mass protests on

Israeli agitators (!), who, they say, were smuggled into the

United States on behalf of the Netanyahu government. The

ostensible reason? To deliver the President a major defeat on his

signature legislative issue, and thereby weaken his opposition to

continued expanded Israeli settlements, and Israel's rejection of

the two-state solution.

The President, safely sealed off from an ever-growing

majority of furious citizens, is clearly sticking to his mad

denial of reality. In his Saturday, Aug. 8 weekly radio address,

the President lied shamelessly, stating, ``As we draw close to

finalizing and passing real health insurance reform, the

defenders of the status quo and political point-scorers in

Washington are growing fiercer in their opposition. In recent

days and weeks, some have been using misleading information to

defeat what they know is the best chance of reform we have ever

had. That is why it is important, especially now, as Senators and

Representatives head home and meet with their constituents, for

you, the American people, to have all the facts.''

The President ranted on, ``So let me explain what reform

will mean for you. And let me start by dispelling the outlandish

rumors that reform will promote euthanasia, cut Medicaid, or

bring about a government takeover of health care. That's simply

not true.''

This is the same Barack Obama who, just a week earlier, had

announced five times, in the course of one press conference, that

the central feature of his health-care ``reform'' program was the

creation of an independent board to police medical services and

cut costs--precisely the Hitler T-4 board, that oversaw the

removal of medical care, the euthanizing of hundreds of thousands

of elderly, chronically ill, and mentally impaired Germans from

1939-41--a prelude and first phase of the Holocaust.

This insane sophistry on the part of the President and his

men has forced some Democrats to repudiate the White House lies,

to save their political skins. Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.), an

early enthusiastic campaign backer of Obama, posted a statement,

declaring, ``I disagree that the people showing concern over some

health-care proposals are `manufactured....' Real folks, strong

opinions.'' Sen. Ben Cardin (D-Md.), who was confronted by 500

enraged constituents at a recent town hall meeting in Baltimore,

defended his detractors, telling reporters that the ``majority of

Americans'' want to know how the bills before Congress and

peddled by Obama, are going to affect them, and these are

``legitimate questions'' asked by real constituents.

While the revolt now underway across the nation is the

cumulative reaction to the failure of elected officials to

honestly deal with the worst economic and financial collapse

since the 14th-Century New Dark Age in Europe, it can be fairly

said that Lyndon LaRouche's series of widely viewed webcasts,

beginning with his April 11, 2009 address, exposing President

Obama as suffering from a severe ``Nero Complex,'' have informed

the public and helped fuel the process. Indeed, while the White

House tries to scramble to pin the reactions on a bunch of

``right-wing extremists'' and ``racists,'' growing numbers of

Republicans have, indeed, been picking up on LaRouche's expose of

the Obama health-care ``reform'' scheme as a replay of the Nazi

T-4 euthanasia program.

Just-retired Alaska governor and recent GOP Vice

Presidential nominee Sarah Palin displayed a bit of political

acumen on Aug. 7, when she posted a statement on her website,

asking: ``Who will suffer the most when they ration care? The

sick, the elderly, and the disabled, of course. The America I

know and love is not one in which my parents or my baby with Down

Syndrome will have to stand in front of Obama's `death panel' so

his bureaucrats can decide, based on a subjective judgment of

their `level of productivity in society,' whether they are worthy

of health care. Such a system is downright evil.''

Palin went on to cite Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.), who

delivered a frontal attack--by name--on Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, the

brother of White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel, and a key

White House health-care ``reform'' advisor, for his repudiation

of the Hypocratic Oath, and his advocacy of euthanasia.

- The Dynamics of the Mass Strike -

Against this backdrop, LaRouche delivered a history lesson

on the dynamics of the mass strike process, in a symposium with

colleagues today.

``This is a mass strike, comparable in many features, to the

French mass developments of June-July 1789, something which we

have not seen, which is even comparable in either Europe and

North America, since the 1930s. Faced with the systemic revolt of

the U.S. citizenry against the combined general breakdown-crisis

of the U.S. economy, and the hatred throughout the population

against the role of both the President and the majority of the

U.S. Congress, the vast majority of the U.S. citizenry are in a

revolt against the elected officials of the government.

``So, both the President and the Congress have gone into

hiding this weekend, hiding from the U.S. population as a whole

body--not against some limited numbers of disgruntled citizens.

This is a condition fairly compared to France, in the months of

June and July 1789, a time when the King and Queen of France had

gone into hiding from a French population which was enraged

against them, by such developments as the King's bringing in

foreign troops from the Queen's brother, the Emperor Joseph II,

in rage against France over the matter of the earlier

orchestrated scandal of the `Queen's Necklace.'

``When the institutions of national government such as the

head of state, his government, and the national legislature have

fled into hiding against the fully justified rage of the general

population as a whole, you have a situation of crisis which is

comparable to that of the French Revolution.

``There are two issues behind this general rejection of the

President and members of Congress by the great majority of the

U.S. population. First, is the Obama health-care policy imported

from the President's masters of the British monarchy; the second

is the $20-plus trillions bail-out swindle initiated by the

complicity of the U.S. Congress and both the Bush and Obama

presidencies. The President and Congress have fled not only

because they have lost the confidence of the people; they have

fled because they have also lost confidence in themselves.

``We are, thus, in a condition, when the President and

Congress have abandoned their posts in government in this way.

Unless both the entire bail-out policy and the Obama health-care

policy are repealed now, the situation is already virtually

ungovernable.

``The existence of the continuity of the constitutional

government of the U.S.A. now lies, at this instant, in the hands

of those within the institutions of the President and Congress

who are ready to cancel the bailout, restore the U.S. economy

under reorganization of finances in bankruptcy, and sweep the

entire Obama health-care plan into the rubbish-bin, for now, and

forever. It is time for the right representatives of

constitutional government to take President Obama out to the

woodshed, as was done with President Nixon. Nothing less will

do.''

In the case of the French Revolution, leading republicans,

like the Marquis de Lafayette, failed to act at critical moments,

and lost control over the entire process, leading to the British

intelligence-led destruction of France, and a new decade of wars

on the European continent.

Today, LaRouche emphasized, there is nothing that will turn

off the public rage, and its demand for a genuine change in

leadership and policy direction. What will give positive

direction to the mass revolt that is already underway and

unstoppable, is a clear plan for a revolutionary change in

policy. This is, LaRouche asserted, what the American people

want.

- London Answers -

It is no coincidence that, while the Obama White House

privately seeths at LaRouche's every word, and makes no bones, in

discussions with perceived Democratic Party allies, that LaRouche

is the greatest obstacle to their Nazi euthanasia agenda, they

avoid, at all costs, an open and public confrontation with

LaRouche. So, the White House spin-doctors have been focusing

their barbs at an amorphous ``right wing'' and ``big business''

apparatus behind the crash, in support for the President's

agenda.

Not so for the City of London. On Aug. 7, the flagship

{Financial Times} ran a smear story on the ``black helicopter''

conspiracy mob, which, they lied, stands behind the crash in

Obama's popular support. They led off the attack with a pointed

reference to LaRouche--by name--citing an earlier attack on

LaRouche in the pages of the {Financial Times} that produced a

flurry of protests, at the time. After a rant against LaRouche as

a so-called ``conspiracy theorist'' who places ``international

bankers,'' ``world government,'' and ``the Queen of England'' at

the center of his conspiracies, author Jurek Martin conceded that

the American media can no longer curb the influence of the likes

of LaRouche, because the Internet now makes it impossible for the

Establishment media ``gatekeepers'' to control the spread of

LaRouche's ideas.

The {Financial Times} diatribe came less than a week after

LaRouche's Aug. 1 webcast, which, not coincidentally, was titled

``The Fall of the House of Windsor.''

Mass Strike Process Overruns More Congressional Town Hall

Meetings

Aug. 8 (LPAC)--The mass strike process that Lyndon LaRouche

described today, has been running over members of Congress from

both parties with increasing intensity in the last days.

* In Kansas City, hundreds of people showed up for a regular

monthly meeting, this morning, with Rep. Emmanuel Cleaver. He

refused to talk to the crowd, instead meeting privately with 75

people, and then left after an hour for "another appointment."

Those left outside the meeting stayed, holding signs, chanting

and arguing with each other.

* On Aug. 7, Rep. Brian Baird of Washington received a

faxed death threat a day after he described angry town hall

protesters as "a lynch mob." He has canceled the rest of the town

hall meetings he had planned for August.

* In Saratoga Springs, N.Y., 20 protesters greeted Rep.

Scott Murphy to let him know they oppose Obama's health reform

plan.

* Rep. John Sarbanes (D-Md.) is avoiding the crowds by

holding his meetings by telephone conference call which, of

course, can be very tightly controlled. Rep. Elijah Cummings

(D-Md.) says he is concerned that media coverage of outbursts at

town hall meetings will only intensify public skepticism about

the health care plan, but he is still, according to the

{Baltimore Sun}, planning such a meeting for Aug. 24, because "I

want to hear different views."

* In St. Louis, the University City school district canceled

a health care forum that Sen. Claire McCaskill was scheduled to

hold there on Aug. 11 because of the "escalation of violence" at

such meetings across the country. McCaskill's office said they

will extend the time of another forum, also on Aug. 11, at

Jefferson College, to two full hours.

* Rep. Jared Polis (D-Colo.) found himself surrounded by

more than 100 people during a meeting at a coffee shop last

night, When they weren't arguing with him, they were arguing with

each other, and many carried signs for or against health reform.

* In Georgia, Rep. David Scott stuck his foot in his mouth,

when he denounced a doctor who got up to ask him some questions

about health reform. Scott took him for a GOP political operative

intending to disrupt the meeting, which was otherwise held to

discuss a road project. Scott launched into a tirade attacking

those he said were there to "hijack" the meeting. The tirade was

filmed by a local TV station which confirmed afterwards that the

doctor was from Scott's district. The doctor told the TV

reporters that he had called Scott's office repeatedly to try to

talk to him about health care reform. "I went to the meeting to

literally ask a question that I thought was very, very important

for my patients," he said.

* Republicans are also facing angry crowds. About 150 people

in Manitowoc, Wisconsin were not satisfied with Rep. Tom Petri's

stated opposition to the Obama health reform plan. One combat

veteran said of the plan "this craziness is not what we fought

for." In North Carolina, Rep. Bob Inglis faced an angry crowd of

350 people, many complaining about socialism or that the

government has gone far outside the strictures of the

Constitution. [cjo]

Obama Freaks Out At LaRouche Attack on His Nazi Health Care

Policy

Aug. 8 (LPAC)--President Obama's Saturday radio address this

morning reflects the level of freakout inside the White House

against the mass strike, catalyzed by Lyndon LaRouche, that is

building up against his Nazi health care policy. The relevant

quotes are as follows:

"As we draw close to finalizing -- and passing -- real

health insurance reform, the defenders of the status quo and

political point-scorers in Washington are growing fiercer in

their opposition. In recent days and weeks, some have been using

misleading information to defeat what they know is the best

chance of reform we have ever had. That is why it is important,

especially now, as Senators and Representatives head home and

meet with their constituents, for you, the American people, to

have all the facts.

"So, let me explain what reform will mean for you. And let

me start by dispelling the outlandish rumors that reform will

promote euthanasia, cut Medicaid, or bring about a government

takeover of health care. That's simply not true. This isn't about

putting government in charge of your health insurance; it's about

putting you in charge of your health insurance. Under the reforms

we seek, if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor. If

you like your health care plan, you can keep your health care

plan."

As also noted by LaRouche, Obama will spend most of the

month of August hiding from the American people. Aside from a

town hall meeting in Portsmouth, N.H. on health reform, which is

reportedly still on the schedule, Obama will be in Guadalajara,

Mexico for a trilateral meeting with Mexican President Calderon

and Canadian Prime Minister Harper on Aug. 10, will be traveling

on a grand tour of national parks in Montana, Wyoming, Colorado

and Arizona on Aug. 14th-17th, and then will spend the last week

of the month camped out on vacation on Martha's Vineyard. Vice

President Biden is similarly hiding on an island off the coast of

South Carolina.

So basically I was wrong. It is out there enough for this forum. It's been a fun thread to read.

I don't even know what to make of the Larouche stuff- bizarre.

As for Obama's missing college papers- even his advisor remembers his thesis having only one or two copies- one of which the advisor had eventually lost. I mean seriously why would they be around?

I know for a fact, just a few weeks ago researching some scientific theses from a local university that most of the paper ones from just ten years ago are lost or not around. new ones are in digital format and stored to some extent, especially those that were the product of grant research.

Terry,

The 'birthers' have been disrupting any and all health care town hall meetings, so they've been discontinued.

There is no revolt. The American people are on vacation, and now so are their representatives and the President.

The Health Insurance conglamorates, whose profits rose 400% in the past six years, are spending $1.5 million a day to defeat health care reform, and they're winning.

Euthenasia has nothing to do with it.

In St. Louis, Mo. the same day, 1,000 citizens were locked

out of a widely advertised town hall meeting with Rep.

If you want to know what's really going on then don't look for it in these meaningless arguments about birth certificates, etc. The fact is there is a transformation taking place in the population akin to a Mass strike revolt.

BK

Bill, you're way off base. The population know that Obama have threatened their lives with his Hitler t-4 healthcare reform.

The so called truthers are not behind these heated town hall meetings!

Read about the meeting in Michigan with John Dingle (who had been popular with voters until now).

If Obama was serious about healthcare reform he would simply cancel the "HMO" laws and go back to a Hill Burton approach.

Trick Dick Nixon passed the HMO laws back in 1972/1973.

And speaking of Richard Nixon, he resigned from office 35 years ago yesterday., Obama should take note as he is headed in the same direction.

I agree with you, Terry, that there is serious grassroots opporsition to an expensive wholesale revision of the healthcare delivery system in this country by the government.

Anyone who wishes to dismiss the widespread voter antipathy with respect this issue does so at his or her own peril.

A lot of Democrats in Congress are finding this out over the break.

They are hardly on vacation.

To the contrary, they are suffering the wrath of citizens who will organize and vote in 2010.

Many Congressional (at least House) Democrats sense a potential electoral ambush on this issue, and they are proceeding with a good bit of trepidation.

I think that the overriding issues in 2010 and 2012 will be the deficit, taxes and inflation.

Time will tell if I am right.

Obama inherited a country which was in a state of financial disaster.

But he augmented that crisis by:

(a) supporting (along with Bush, Pelosi and Reid (and McCain, for that matter)) TARP ($700 billion),

(B) pushing throught the $800 "stimulus" legislation,

© taking over the American auto industry via Federal subsidies and auto manufacturer ownership (I forget how many

billion this purchase of electoral votes involves),

(d) supporting the costly cap and trade proposal, and

(e) now supporting a health care reform proposal that no one believes will be revenue neutral.

Rightly or wrongly, Obama will own the issues of the deficit, taxes (they're coming, we all know it) and inflation (we all know that this is coming, too) by this time next year when Congressional mid-term elections occur.

I have no interest in seeing a bunch of free-spending Democrats replaced with a bunch of free-spending Republicans, and the Republican Party is in disarray.

They (e.g. my state's 2 Republican Senators) certainly don't represent my interests, which are largely libertarian.

The voters spoke last November and they are speaking now.

I respect people who think differently on this matter, and I think that trying to marginalize and malign large groups of voters who think differently is dangerous business.

People who believe that dissent is the highest form of patriotism need to remember that they are not the only ones entitled to dissent from the prevailing political power structure.
