To Kill a President: Finally - an Ex-FBI Agent Rips Aside the Veil of Secrecy that Killed JFK by M. Wesley Swearingen seeks to uncover new information about the assassination of President John F. Kennedy and identify the groups who conspired to kill him.

According to Swearingen, Lee Harvey Oswald did not act alone in assassinating Kennedy as was claimed by the FBI, the Warren Commission and other investigating bodies. Instead, he argues that rogue CIA agents acting in concert with the mafia and certain Cuban exiles plotted to kill Kennedy. Swearingen contends that the conspiracy was covered up by the FBI, an effort that continues to this day through the agency's unwillingness to disclose key details about the events surrounding Kennedy's death.

"I want to set the record straight," Swearingen says. "The truth is my inspiration. Upholding the Constitution and exposing government corruption is my sole purpose."

A 25-year veteran of FBI field work, Swearingen was employed by the bureau in 1963 when Kennedy was shot in Dallas. Citing internal sources and information not previously released to the public, Swearingen claims that Oswald was an FBI informant who was known to government officials prior to the assassination. He argues that the statements and actions of FBI and CIA personnel indicate a cover-up, one that he believes included CIA-trained Cuban exiles and American mobsters.

"Names are named, associations are made, reasonable conjectures are served and Swearingen comes across as the real deal," explains a Kirkus Discoveries review. "He virtually dares readers to prove him wrong."

Thank you Johm.

Oswald was an FBI informant? That can't be right. We all "know" that the FBI would come out and say so if that were the case.

Maybe you could invite Mr Swearingen to join? There may be some matters upon which he would like to comment.

FBI SECRETS: An Agent's Expose' is about FBI corruption and wrongdoing. It is a veteran agent's firsthand story of how the FBI foreswore its duty to the Constitution by plotting assassinations in Chicago in 1969; convicting an innocent man in Los Angeles in 1972 for a murder he did not commit; and covering up a 1990 civil rights violation as a result of the bombing of an Earth-First activist's car.

For years the FBI has lied to the Department of Justice, the U.S. Congress, and the Courts.

The new explosive book, TO KILL A PRESIDENT, is about the CIA's conspiracy to assassinate President John F. Kennedy and the FBI's cover-up. One of the FBI's top informants in Chicago, trained a handful of selected Mob members and Anti-Castro exiles at a secret CIA camp in Florida on how to conduct a clean hit and blame it on a patsy.

TO KILL A PRESIDENT is a must read for those who do not believe the Warren Commission Report. For those who do believe the Warren Commission they will get a new insight into the government that controls the news and their lives.

John,Bill, Greg, and All,

I met Mr. Swearingen years ago at one of the Lancer November meetings in Dallas. He was seated next to Craig Roberts (author of The Kill Zone) with whom I also spoke.

I told Mr. Swearingen of the difficulties I was having in obtaining responses to my Freedom of Information requests to the FBI. He told me he had been an FOIA officer in the FBI and understood my plight because a FOIA requester had to practically know the FBI's file number of the documents being asked for. Unfortunately, he could offer no helpful suggestions to me at that time, but he was quite sympathetic.

If Mr. Swearingen does become a member, I would hope he could expound a bit on his experiences as an FOIA officer in the FBI.

I am still seeking the records which should have been in the files of the FBI, the report by FBI Liaison Special Agent, Orrin Bartlett, of my interview of November 24, 1963, and those of the FBI agents of the Washington and Baltimore FBI offices who were ordered by Mr. Bartlett to "pick up Jose Rivera for interrogation."

Adele

Hi Adele,

Yes, others have said that Mr. Swearingen is an okay guy who has helped decipher and locate special FBI documents. It seems Ernie Lazar is also an FBI document specialist who can help answer some of the outstanding questions if he sticks around. Ernie has also turned us on to some others, including Dr. Athan Theoharis.

As I recently mentioned elsewhere, according to DeLoach's oral history at the LBJ Library, LBJ didn't trust the Secret Service and requested an FBI agent be placed aboard AF1 whenever he traveled, and he specifically requested Orrin Bartlett, who was given that assignment. So LBJ must have known Bartlett from before, possibly when he served as the FBI liason to the SS at the time of the assassination.

There certainly should be a lot of reports from Bartlett released as part of the JFK Act, and there aren't. Was he absolved from writing reports on what happened in the most important investigation of his career?

Swearingen, Hosty, Bartlett and Rice are all good guys, good cops placed in a bad spot, and I think they know what really happened just from being in the middle of the meat grinder and surviving.

If ever possible I would like to ask Mr. Swearingen about a tragedy that occurred in Chicago in the late 60's. I was attending high school in Chicago at the time and the FBI and the Chicago police led an assault on an apartment where Fred Hampton and several other Black Panther leaders were staying. Hampton and several others were killed in the assault. Initially officials claimed that they were merely conducting a raid that turned deadly when the Black Panthers opened fire but subsequent investigation proved that all of the shots were fired into the apartment and no shots out-ie. an official execution. A State's Attorney, Edward Hanrahan, took the fall or blame though the FBI supposedly led the raid. The question is this-someone told me years ago that Fred Hampton was executed because he was there in Dallas on Nov. 22, 1963 and either saw or knew something that was dangerous. Does Mr. Swearingen have any information concerning this? Probably not, as I've never come across a link connecting Fred Hampton to the JFK assassination but would Mr. Swearingen have any ideas or suggestions about obtaining any information that may still be in the FBI's records?

Thanks, BK

Yes, David,

I second that motion. I too would like to hear from Mr. Swearingen, and request that the monitors pay close attention to make sure that he is treated with respect and is allowed to answer questions feely and openly and state what he wants without interference by idiots.

I see Mr. Swaringen has authored a book about Black Bag Jobs, which should be of special interest to JFK researchers in regards to the surrepetious entery into the FPCC offices in New York City at the same time the accused assassin was corresponding with that office, as well other, similiar FBI actions before and after the assassination.

I think John Simkin could open the door by asking him a few general questions that he would probably like to answer in public, and encourage him to answer some more of our questions, as he appears to be an important source for information about the FBI and their files.

BILL MOVING THESE FROM THE OTHER THREAD, I POSTED THEM THERE BY MISTAKE ; B

BILL; FROM THE WEB; YOU MAY BE INTERESTED IN FURTHER INFORMATION ON HIS BOOK...

Twice someone has removed this material I am reposting.

I first met retired FBI agent Wesley Swearingen in the mid 1990's when we brought him to speak at a conference held at Bates College looking at crimes committed by FBI agents. It was held from 1989-2002.

He is the author of a previous book called FBI SECRETS which details the illegal activities he committed for the FBI when he was an agent for 25 years. An important point to remember when reading the following story is that FBI Director Mueller knew the book was going to be released and made sure the media

saturated negative stories about the Kennedy Clan by releasing selected FBI Files to embed in the public consciousness that President Kennedy was a scum bag. see http://www.boston.co....ersonal_files/

Also see http://www.politicsd....bby-for-sexua/

http://www.sodahead.....stion-1063851/

If you got to this link you will see the hundreds of media outlets

that carried the story of the FBI releasing some of its files on the Kennedys. see http://www.google.co....0e7dd948e54cca

You will not see any media outlets carrying the story that FBI agents assassinated President Kennedy as detailed in retired FBI agent Wesley Swearingen's book.

I will tell you the name of the 1st FBI agent to detail the evidence for

FBI agents assassinating President Kennedy in my next post.

Thanks B.

The book Swearingen wrote that I was most interested in his the one about FBI Black Bag Jobs - illegal breakins, a subject that Swearingen was apparently a specialist.
