My name is Paul Hargreaves and I post on the TES messageboard and schoolhistory.co.uk forums as 'Gorbash'. I am a teacher of History, RS and English at a secondary school in Kettering, Northamptonshire. At present I am looking for other jobs back north closer to my parents and also where it is cheap enough for me to get on the property ladder!
My main historical interests are the Medieval England (1066-1215) and Early Modern Europe. However as it is impossible to find a teaching job which offers these two topics at GCSE / AS / A2 level I am currently branching out into 19th and 20th century history. My current bedtime reading and area of particular interest at the moment is the soviet penetration of the intelligence services of the 'west' in the 20th century.
