Barry: If you and your compatriots would allow me, I would be honored to speak at the next DPUK conference. The topic I was thinking of is Jim Garrison, and how he deceived himself.
Ray, we might just take you up on that, if only just for the pint!

We have met actually. It was in the Bar at the Dallas Grand Hotel in 1999. I was with Ian Griggs and a group of Brits. My first trip to Dallas, great time!

It's not my intention to learn history from this drama. I know enough of the real facts about the Kennedy family not to be fooled by a "television soap opera".You might be missing the point. Oliver Stone's film JFK was vilified before it was even finished. I watched it myself before I formed an opinion. I just want to do the same with this one. I may give up after half an hour, you may choose not to watch it all, that's your prerogative.
I urge JFK researchers to get out of the Plaza and look not at who the shooters were but why he was killed. A definitive answer to this question will inmo be more fruitful and bring us close to historical truth.
Yes of course I meant June 10th in referring to the American University speech. Mind you the June 11th speech of civil rights was pretty good to.
I have now visited the American University and stood at the site of that magnificent speech, one of the most moving moments of my life.
Hi Bill
Many thanks. I would have liked to have been there on June 10th this year, but nevertheless I will be honoured to visit soon to remember.

Will be in Washington later this year. Is the American University open to the public to visit the site of the JFK Commencement Address, or do special arrangements have to be made?

The stockpile consisted of various chemicals and minerals that would be needed in a wide variety of crucial manufacturing processes,
in the event of a national crisis such as war large amounts of these materials would be required. But much more than would be needed was stockpiled. The companies that provided these materials sold them to the government at inflated prices. They were then allowed by corrupt officials to exceed the required amounts and the surplus was bought back from the government at a discount price, making huge profits for all involved.
