  1. Two years at Cerritos Community College in Norwalk, California - technology focus. Four years in the US Air Force, Computer Technician. Spent 2.5 years in Germany and loved it. Three years at California State University at Long Beach. Major in Industrial Arts, minor in History. Taught Industrial Art (just about everything except auto repair), Math and History. My history courses were US, World (most often), AP European and Geography. These were taught at either Edison High School or Huntington Beach High School, in H.B., California for a total of 31 years. Taught Introductory Architectural Drafting, Design and Small Frame Construction at Orange Coast Collage in Costa Mesa, Ca. for 28 years. By the way, that is only one course, the title is nearly longer that the term. I grew up in a working class neighborhood in Norwalk, Ca. However my parents were both immigrants from Missouri, so I consider myself to be bicultural. If you spend more than two weeks in both Missouri or California, you will understand. I have been poor and comfortably lower middle class, I prefer middle class by far. I speak of middle class as we do in the US, measured by income. I do not mean the manufacturing and commerce elite middle class of the first industrial revolution or the social division of the feudal era. I know that classical US economist teach that the middle class starts at earnings of $200,000 or more in the US. However, the pro-union family I grew up in worked, picketed, struck and sometime fought so I could be middle class. So, even at my considerably less that $100,000 per year income, by God, I am middle class. I say so, even if it is only to honor my parents.
