I am a retired accountant and live in Canberra, the capital city of Australia. I am a volunteer for our local Community and for the past five years have been the facilitator for the Learning Circle, a group of older people who wish to keep their brains active and keep in touch with society. Our weekly discussions are lively and as you can imagine over the years many and varied subjects have been explored.
It has become apparent that we are stagnating a little, so I am looking for new avenues to inspire the group to discuss matters that are of concern or interest in a wider sphere than our own.
