Thanks. I am not able to post in the forum 'Senior Students', can anyone help me and tell me why?

I don't know if I am posting in the correct forum. I am a student. One year left when I'll be done with my school and I have to decide which college/university I should go to or apply for. I don't know anything about it, could anyone guide me a little bit, and tell me how long it takes until one is a teacher, or recommend any good universtities?
