PS So if I understand Perry correctly, he states that in the Nov 27, 1988 issue of Time Magazine there is a picture of, who, members of the White family claim is Geneva Dees with Jack Ruby...Is that so? Jimmy Rhodes was the photographer according to Perry. (Robert Howard) Robert, Is this the photo referred to? James

A few years back, I did a photographic comparison showing a man positioned at the corner of Main and Houston with Rip Robertson. The quality of the images were not ideal but there was a strong resemblance. This was also supported with information I attained that Robertson was in Dealey Plaza that day and had coordinated a team which participated in the shooting. The information regarding Robertson and his team is solid. I was also able to get support for this via a family member of the Cuban exile involved. A few months ago, I had the opportunity to work with a family member and an associate of another infamous exile and they cast doubt on the man in Dealey Plaza being Robertson. Photo's I have subsequently seen of Robertson also suggest it is not him. Anyway, these folk thought he looked awfully familiar and gave me an interesting image, the man in question I have cropped and compared to the Dealey Plaza spectator. Since then, things turned south and these contacts have closed up shop. This all in a few days. That aside, I present the man in question here. Again, the image is not great quality and I know we can't be definitive but I ask forum members if they think there is a chance these men are one in the same. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Jerry Hoy was the guy who supposedly looked like Frenchie the tramp. Anyway, I dug up a Jerry Hoy from Texas who served in Vietnam and was wondering if it was the same guy. This is him below. Apologies for the poor quality image. James James: FWIW Jerry Hoy lived a short time at the Elsberth Apartments (605) before moving to the Apartment building behind Beckley. (Spring of 63) He did serve in Nam with the 1st Recon (can't remember the full name of the outfit) He went into Camdodia with a S&D unit. The last I knew of him was at Harlendale. He was a close friend of Lester Murphy. He was a close associate of Johney Farentello and Ceciel Frandandez who lived at another apartment complex on Zangs Blvd near Sunset High School. Hoy was a close associate of many who went to Ruby's club. ' Shorty Wiemer of the infamous 'Knox Street Rats' of the early fifties (Knox and Travis St, Dallas) Also lived or owned an interest in Ruby's clubs and knew Hoy's family as well as "Capt Edward Seiwell of the 4th Army Reserve Dallas Love Field. take care.. Bill, No photos of Rowe doing his Maynard G. Krebs impression but I do seem to remember that he was mixed up with Henry Wade being charged with DWI. I lost a pile of computer files and now can't find anything. Does anyone have any details re the Wade episode? James

Bill, Thinking a bit more about this "Bob' character and it occurs to me that Heckscher was once head of the 'Berlin Operation Base' aka BOB. Curious coincidence if nothing else. Henry Heckscher was in fact Heinrich Detlev Heckscher, younger brother of William Sebastian Heckscher. William was close friends with Albert Einstein and an interesting character on his own. FWIW. Can you remember the photograph you posted? John, I have absolutely no idea. I have been having some problems of late with my electronically stored images and lost many in a rather nasty virus attack. The slow process of rescanning has begun but my filing system is so poor, I do not know what is where. James

Robert, Regarding the missing images, sometime back, the forum was having some bandwidth issues and every now and then would exceed monthly limitations. I removed older attachments to help free up space. Cheers, James

Oh, and by the way, Files also said that the guy who snitched on him to the FBI, that he was one of the shooters in Dealey Plaza, was Aldo Vera. Maybe that's why Chauncey went to pay Vera a visit in Peurto Rico in 1976 ??? (Wim Dankbaar) Speaking of Aldo Vera, it was only a couple of months ago that Miami-Dade judge Robert Scola Jr. awarded some $94 million to Vera's family in a wrongful death claim. Nice chunk of change. FWIW. James

Kathy, Sorry, no other images of Bachand that I can post. Gary, I first came across Bachand when I was checking into that peace march in 1963 that began in Quebec and finished in Guantanamo. This was in reference to an alleged incident in Montreal where a man calling himself Lee Harvey Oswald was handing out pro Castro literature. I believe there are several threads regarding this. Anyway, Gerry Hemming told me straight out that there were two men impersonating Oswald in Canada. One was Ed Collins and the other was a French Canadian who had been recruited by Robert Emmett Johnson. He didn't know his name but I followed this up with associates of Johnson and they speculated it might have been Bachand. GPH also told me about deals made between the Mounties and the CIA where certain things were 'taken care of'. Collins died in 1964 and Bachand in 1971. I assumed that Gerry was referring to these events. I do not believe that Bachand was in Dallas on the day but given his alleged connections to REJ, then yes, he is a person of definite interest regarding the assassination. I also suspect that REJ dispatched a French Canadian explosives expert to Dallas who was the one responsible for concocting a car bomb - a dramatic back-up plan that was obviously not required. I have this man's name and he was also involved in several FLQ attacks and was known to Bachand. Getting details is difficult here so there are plenty of missing bits which is frustrating to say the least. FWIW. James
