  1. Surely she was also rightfully terrified. Know what is interesting? How she immediately cut off all contact with Ruth Paine.
  2. I know that, though my point was to say he was far more than familiar as in "I think I read about that in the paper, I heard about that guy" The point was to say that he would have been far more familiar given his job, in a supervisory position with D.R.E. -- he would know about that debate. He probably would have read a transcript of the debate. He would have likely read a number of other things that were certainly not in a newspaper. But what Reiner said on the program was way off base. Unless of course he has some new information, which I guess we'll find out about that.
  3. Seems likely. If he's pretending he doesn't speak Russian - to the extent that he is given a tutor and he intentionally pronounces things wrong with that tutor, doing average or poorly- then you would think that he's speaking English most of the time with Marina. If so ... she's lying about not being able to speak it and needing a translator. Lying when telling Ruth that Lee doesn't want her to learn English. Marina is a total enigma to me. I know she lied a lot to the HSCA and I just cannot quite figure out her motives for different things. Also her marriage to Ken Porter (Collins Radio - CIA affiliated company?) is unusual.
  4. Thank you very much, Ron. My intent wasn't so much to be self-deprecating but rather to just make the point that "who cares what my opinion is" -- to say that others need not write so many paragraphs about this or ask me additional details because what I think about Ruth Paine just is not important (unless you're Ruth's self appointed circle of public defenders, to them I'm sure these are "serious allegations")
  5. That's for sure! He also repeatedly calls Oswald a creep and a misfit. Meanwhile look to what George DeMohrenschildt and Buell Frazier had to say. He was anything but a creep. On that same Adam Carolla episode, Reiner alludes to a "CIA agent" he talked to who said that the JFKA has "all the hallmarks" of a "rogue operation" -- beep beep HERE COMES ROLF MOWAT-LARSSEN
  6. Right - either he has some new information OR he's just totally wrecking it. And given it's Rob Reiner I think the chances are good he's just wrecking it. If we had anything that suggested that Joannides ran a program that recruited Oswald, and/or knew Oswald, Morley would have written about that a long time ago. FWIW, I suspect Joannides absolutely had to have known Oswald's name due to the whole NOLA WDSU debate and how DRE had a dossier on Oswald, was distributing that to radio and friendly press contacts immediately on 11.22.63 -- most assuredly Joannides would have been in a position to be aware of that given his role as "handling" or "managing" the D.R.E. We could of course deduce from these facts that it's certain Joannides would be familiar with the Marine defector. On the other hand, Reiner is not dileneating it that way. I don't think I've once heard him talk about how Joannides was in a supervisory position of supporting and funding the D.R.E. -- and you would expect someone to make that connection first and with immediacy: you link CIA dollars to Bringuier and you talk about the Oswald/Carte Blanche radio debate, the whole NOLA 'FPCC' operation and link that up with the agency. But it's almost as if he Reiner doesn't know about any of that and instead talks as if Joannides was Oswald's case officer or something. It's all very strange and serves to disinform the audience. Rob Reiner is doing a terrible job with this so far. Tosh Plumlee and now "no one has ever heard the name George Joannides before" - WOW!
  7. Just an FBI agent. He had no formal education regarding documents -- per his testimony, he received "on the job" training. Surely he had seen many, many types of documents and probably learned a thing or two about bogus documents though. Good job on mimicking Oswald's penmanship.
  8. Later in the program he talks about the pitfalls of disinformation and false information prolifterating online which was ironic
  9. Rob Reiner went on Adam Carolla to promote his podcast. On the appearance he said that "no one has ever heard of George Joannides" - then he says that Joannides "oversaw the program that developed people like Lee Harvey Oswald" and "he knew Lee Harvey Oswald" No credit is given to Jeff Morley for his work and as far as I can tell he greatly mischaracterizes what Joannides did do. Maybe he has some new information, however, I would expect that if there was additional info in this area Jefferson Morley would have reported it already. This is the program:
  10. No no, you're right. Face tattoos or horrifying. Tattoos in general. But maybe I'm old now too...
  11. DESTINY F*CKED: HOW THE DEEP STATE GREASED KENNEDY by JOHNNY DeANGELO
  12. Jim uses language and vocab rather skillfully so of course his alter ego would just drops F and S bombs Personally I always kind of wince when I see or hear people using foul language. Not sure why, it just rubs me the wrong way. It's too aggressive and brutish for my tastes.
  13. I stated my opinion. I've no requirement to justify it to you, or to anyone else. Besides, my opinion on this matter doesn't make any difference. It's not the least bit important.
  14. You are wasting your time, we obviously do not agree and that is how it will remain.
  15. https://imgur.com/kO7ZqKV Here is the 12/6/1963 UPI piece - "FBI Looks at Firing On Walker" "The FBI is looking into the possibility that Lee Harvey Oswald was the sniper who fired a rifle bullet into the home of former Maj. Gen. Edwin Walker in Dallas last April, it was learned Friday" "Dallas Police said the day following the assassination that they were checking the possibility that the assassin and the Walker sniper were the same person" It'd be interesting to see the 11/23/63 piece mentioned wherein Michael Paine supposedly floats the idea that it was Oswald who did it. DeMohrenschildt, much later, suggested that he suspected Oswald fired at Walker and there is something there re: the Paines and the DeMohrenschildts. We don't know what it is yet, but we can see the form of something distinct there.
  16. A piece from 12/6/1963 says that "Dallas police said the day following the assassination that they were checking the possibility that the assassin and the Walker sniper were the same person" Interesting, that's some quick detective work... I searched the Houston Chronicle but the archive I used (Newsbank) doesn't go back that far.
  17. Well, sure it's in conflict with what some have attributed to her. I think that the most likely situation isn't in alignment with some of the more outlandish scenarios people have presented. However I also think that the "truth is rarely simple and never pure" As for Garrison, don't think he had any evidence on Ruth. She sure wanted to find out if he did, though. Regarding Ruth Paine I think the truth is self-evident, regardless of what hard evidence exists or doesn't exist. It's also a situation I do not think is worthwhile to argue with people about. Though it might be a situation worth examining, as in the recent film The Assassination and Mrs. Paine which was well done and a worthy addition to the subject.
  18. I feel you. To me the JFKA represents a somewhat-recent inflection point in history where dark forces violently wrested control of the country and then shaped our foreign policy for the next 50-60 years. Vietnam, Watergate, CIA assassination plots, MK/ULTRA & Artichoke, puppet governments and death squads, violent repression of people in the name of "anti-communism" - all the dark and evil machinations we saw sprung forth from that moment. It was the Unspeakable's "enabling act" and the people all have their heads in the sand refusing to believe what has been going on much like good Germans just could not believe the atrocities committed right under their noses in WW2 era Germany. We lost our soul as a nation that day and have been forever crippled by this traumatic and disabling event. We have not had a single good man as President since then, save maybe Jimmy Carter, though his effectiveness as President was largely neutralized.
  19. that is super interesting and it coincides with what S.M. Holland said about two shots being "almost simultaneous"
  20. Right. No matter how many paragraphs of tedious Ruth and Priscilla apologia we get we're not going to be convinced. Vince Salandria had it right so many years ago and he also knew how pointless it is to engage over tiny details that are not worth our time to engage over. I'm reminded of a tactic used for infiltrating the left where it was advised to carry on long and diverging tedious arguments, to return to previously settled items and renew debate on them. We see the same things happening here, allthough I suspect with Mr. Douda he is legitimately white knighting for Ruth and not carrying out any sort of ulterior agenda. But the end result is the same, a waste of our time. Priscilla was CIA and witting Ruth was CIA and probably unwitting, but smart enough to have figured it out which is why she's always made sure to go through every last scrap of paper that came out with her name on it. She knows there might be one, eventually, that will reveal the order of things.
  21. Has a personal vendetta against Robert Blakey but for all the wrong reasons
  22. Qualities of John DeAngelo: Slicked back hair, always with the Brylcreem Wears a black t-shirt and a leather jacket, always Refers to Z313 as "the money shot" and is fond of saying that 'JFK got greased' Often chews gum obnoxiously or shakes peanuts in his hand Gets personally insulted when you mention possible mafia involvement Calls pasta sauce 'gravy' I would like to see Jim give a presentation in-character as John DeAngelo
  23. Well, I have actually fired rounds from weapons so when I read Chicken Man's assertion that there were probably fragments all over the limo I laughed out loud. Especially when you look at 6.5m Italian rounds. Those rounds are incredibly heavy, solid; obviously not responsible for the head shot Which is why all the pieces of brain and fragments had to be cleaned out of the head casing. Mass spectography would have revealed the fragments were not pieces of a 6.5mm Italian round and game over. Confetti bullet indeed
