But what dispelled any doubts was hearing him enthusiastically read chapters from a book which blamed Jews for: -prolonging WWI by 2 years -the US's entry into the war AND -undermining the morale of the German's leading to the defeat of the axis -the harsh conditions of the Versailles treaty AND -economic problems in Germany and thus the rise of Hitler -Pearl Harbor and the US entry into WWII. Chapters which approvingly quote infamous anti-Semites like Charles Lindbergh, Henry Ford and even Hitler. It is no exaggeration to say the books summary of history 1914 - 45 is straight Nazi. Dean despite your view on alteration and dedication to Fetzer and White you seem like a reasonable person to me. So read the revolting xxxx Fetzer read on his show and has repeatedly endorsed. Then tell me if you honestly don't think it is anti-Semitic and then tell me if we can fail to draw the same conclusion about someone who has so strongly endorsed it. The Amazing Randi is awesome Unfortunately, several of Randi's "followers" have decided to try and "debunk" all conspiracy theories of the Kennedy assassination. They repeat Posner and Bugliosi nonsense as gospel, and worship McAdams, Lattimer, and Myers. They fail to see that the "magic bullet" theory they rely on has as much backing in real science as a Uri Geller spoon. Thats a bloody good one, that last line. All I've tried to say from my very first post on this issue is that you don't get wide consensus on much in the Kennedy assassination and when you get a number of ranking individuals from different backgrounds and organiations advocating something, and we're talking about consistent, consciencious and generally cautious appraisers (I dont generally put anyone in the body alteration, Jude Baker, Johnson did it, no planes hit the twin towers remotely near this category). I think theres something there. Thus, while I find yours and Jacks ideas interesting. For myself the Bush angle has been done and dusted. I dont rate Russ Baker nor John Hankeys abilities anywhere near the people who have done the reviews on them. I used to have an interest in the Bush's with regards to JFK not so much anymore. I also struggle to distinguish anyone in the Bush did it camp from Hankey or Baker.

Sorry Frankie, Anyone who takes a close look at the Bush family background, starting with Samuel Bush and George Walker and working forward to GHW Bush, would agree that there are enough questionable activities, from WWI war profiteering to financing and enabling Nazi interests to hidden CIA activity, the "it was George William Bush, not me" excuse, and the large number of "coincidences" involving Bush and folks close to Bush connections to De Mohrenschildt, and in the instance of Wm. B Macomber, Jr., awareness of Oswald, would agree that a rational, informed electorate would not have voted in great numbers for either father or son to be the president of the United States. The Bushes are at least as compromised as the Warren Commissioners were. At the least, what is missing in all of them is forthrightness, integrity, and ethical conduct. Sorry Tom, Seamus has looked into all of that. Id much rather take hard fact as presented in his work and in Jims review than idle speculation. Not even Webster Tarpley is so bold. You and John Hankey clearly are.

Has any body actually read Seamus's review of Hankeys JFK II? If people of the calibre of Greg Parker, John Geraghty, Pat Speer, Jim DiEugenio, AJ Weberman, Larry Hancock, Lisa Pease, Deb Conway and a host of others think Hankey and the Bush connection is 'bunk' or over done. I think thats pretty powerful stuff. This is an amalgamation of a number of different people with different view points from different groups. After reading the Hankey review again and reading Jim DiEugenios review of Bakers book, I really see nothing but people trying to connect dots exactly like Hankey did. I think anybody can make connections anywhere in this case. I suppose a few of you actually believe Bush threatened with Hoover with a gun in his office. Oh please. That is just soooooo silly.

I think there was also a woman who was on the phone. A secretary. I can't recall her name right now but she testified about the power going out and the phone lines going dead... Geneva Hine, the buildings telephone operator. And she did not say the power went out. Rather, she indicated that the lights on the phone switchboard went out as the motorcade approached, apparently because no one was making or receiving any calls. Thanks.

I'm keen to start some sort of action. Its a bit hard to know where to start.... I have got 180ish people constantly sending info to HBO and Hanks. Let me know what I can do. Its a bit hard from New Zealand tho.... I have a few questions regarding the law. If the was a defamation suit who could bring it? Would it have to be a member of Lee's family? Could there be an injunction to stop the HBO mini-series? Is it a law to use the word 'allegedly' if someone was not found guilty in a court of law?
