I agree that the Warren commission was not an investigation.  I think of it as more like a cover up ( of  who really killed JFK).

Didn't DAP say that those trained to assassinate Castro  were re-directed to assassinate JFK?

That is Mantik .

HIs CIA handler told him him to do so.  (after reading " Oswald and the CIA "  by John Newman , I believe LHO was being handled by the CIA)  The Warren Commission was a coverup up of  the murder of JFK.  Dulles and McClone drove this coverup.    Hoover followed their  orders.  I believe in Nantik's interpretation of the autopsy records.

I agree that Shaw was a CIA asset.  I believe there was a connection between Shaw and European assassins that tried to kill DeGaulle and may have killed JFK.   The organization that Shaw was connected to in this arena may have been called Permidex.  I don't think think this was innocent.

However, he later claimed that just before Jack Ruby shot Oswald he was "called to take a phone call from Dallas Mayor Earle Cabell"."  Cabell had jurisdiction over the Dallas City Jail, but not the County Jail, where LHO was to be delivered.  LHO had to be murdered in the City Jail, where Earle Cabell had jurisdiction.  That is why the murder of LHO occurred when it did.  Ealre's brother  (Charles) reported to A. Dulles in the CIA and they were both fired  by JFK for the BOP  fiasco.

Yes, Charles, and  the purpose of the Warren Commission was to prove LHO was the lone assassin,not to determine who killed JFK.  It was set up to tell the American people that a  lonne assassin nut killed JFK and not to ask questions.  Everybody was to go back to their jobs and move on.  Nothing to see here.

Under LBJ , the US Combat troops increased from 0 to 500,000- thet is what the JCS wanted and got under LBJ.  Under JFK that would never have happened and that is why JFK was assassinated.  

"JFK was viscerally, adamantly opposed to sending regular combat troops to South Vietnam."- this is why JFK was assassinated.

I recommend "JFK;s War (Why Kennedy was Assassinated)" by Doug Horne.

And, Doud Horne has done a lot of work along these lines.  So, yes, you could be right.
