  1. Not that Mark needs the help, but allow me to throw some things out there... First of all, "read the book" doesn't mean sh*t...if the person writing the book is making up stories. That is one of Judy Baker's favorite things to say..."read the book"...need I say more? 1) Lore - He thought it strange at the time that he, being in charge of setting up extra military Presidential protection was sent to Antarctica during the assassination To the ARRB - He admits there was nothing strange about the trip to Antarctica...it was routine. Also admits he had nothing to do with Presidential protection detail. 2) Lore - Col. Reich and the 112th were ordered to stand down and not provide military protection for JFK To the ARRB - Col. Reich stated this was something rarely done, stated he had never talked to or heard of Prouty, and that they were never asked by the Secret Service or DPD to provide extra security for the President's visit to Texas. I would also recommend perusing this file from the Weisberg archive... http://jfk.hood.edu/Collection/Weisberg Subject Index Files/P Disk/Prouty L Fletcher/
  2. True...you really don't get rich from non-fiction books, and I'm not saying he did it for the money, although he may have been given an advance, they certainly heavily advertised the book. Someone may have bought the movie rights, magazines paid for articles written folks with weight behind them. I'm sure Stone paid him...Hell, even Len Osanic is still making money off his name. To me, it's more of a notoriety thing. I'm sure his military retirement benefits were quite good given his years of service and rank. I think after the Garrison investigation and the Church Committee fiasco, he saw an opportunity for a niche, given someone of his prior position. Allude to some real events being "weird", exaggerate involvement in some things, and totally make up others, and you've got yourself some stories. Ones that major news outlets wanna hear, ones that pique the interest of folks like Lifton and Sprague, ones that get you speaking engagements, allow you to publish long form articles in nationally syndicated magazines, get critically acclaimed directors to hire you as a consultant to major Hollywood movie, write forewards in books of people like Mark Lane, then finally publish your own JFK related book on the heels of the movie that your conspiratorial tales are told in....only to contradict everything you've ever said or done when finally scrutinized by an authoritative investigatory government entity that had access to documents and people that could disprove everything you've ever said....Ouch...
  3. Third time I'm asking...what is the citation for Lansdale personally sending Prouty to Antarctica? Other than Prouty said so? Any documents or corraboration backing this claim up? All accurate and true statements. I would add that Col Reich, whom Prouty specifically named, claimed it was all B.S. My guess would be, that being called to the carpet by an actual government backed investigation that had access to all the records and could interview key witnesses, he knew his gig was up and didn't even try to lie. Probably figured no one would ever know what he told the ARRB until after he was dead...which was true.
  4. Exactly Mark! Thank you....he himself told the ARRB it was routine. Again, please cite the source for Lansdale sending Prouty to Antarctica other than Prouty saying so... I don't care what Prouty says about Lansdale if it doesn't pertain to the Kennedy assassination.
  5. Here comes Osanic's Knight on a white horse...and remember folks for only $110.00 you too can see and hear the man lie directly out of his own mouth! http://www.blackopradio.com/products.html Re.Antarctica...Actually it does mean something, in his books, writings, forewords, and correspondence, Prouty's "wondering" makes no sense. Given that the trip was routine...something his job required him to do, and the fact he admitted to the ARRB it was never his job to organize extra military protection for the President, then his trip shouldn't have seemed out of the ordinary. Sure the screenwriters took a little license on things, but they didn't pull them out of thin air. Surely Reich's name drop came from Prouty, and in Reich's 15 page interview with the ARRB he didn't even know who Prouty was, never spoke to the man, and wondered what he'd been smoking. Even Stevie Wonder could see the gaping holes in the Presidential security that day, Prouty is not sharing some grand illumination with the world. Welding manhole covers down, nailing windows shut, and placing snipers on every rooftop were not routine practices prior to November 22,1963. The events of that day surely had an impact on a change in SS protection details. Bottom line is Kennedy wanted to be seen in Dallas that day by the people, given that situation, there's only so much the DPD and the SS could have done. Could they have done better? Sure...but that's a whole different discussion. Bottom line is that Prouty lied about his "role" and a plethora of other things. Please site your source for Landsdale giving him the instructions to go to Antarctica other than Prouty said so...thanks!
  6. Yeah, I'm the host, and I'm not hormonal... unless rage counts. 🤷‍♂️ Useless comments from someone that didn't bother to listen to the show....
  7. Oh it's accurate...and not just a random hatchet job! Prouty himself cancels everything he's ever said up to that point. It was an early 70's snow job, one of many ,before and since. Stone was fooled, Osanic was fooled, and his nonsense became ingrained in the mythos of assassination lore. Time to set the record straight!
  8. Nice deflection of the facts...and it's a valid point based his previous claims that he thought right away something was up with being sent to the South Pole. He sh*ts the bed with his Church Committee allegations.....HSCA? naaaahh....Oliver Stone? YES!$$$$$
  9. Oswald's bio was out there quickly because of his prior defection and also his arrest in New Orleans. It also contained early "wire report" mistakes that other papers, not just the Christchurch paper also ran with. Again, a ring...back of man's head...captured mid stride? Evidence of nothing...show me photo of the same man captured with a clear facial shot , and we can talk. You really think Gen. Ed Landsdale would be caught dead walking in Dealey Plaza after the assassination in front of all those newsmen and cameras? It's laughable...
  10. I would suggest you go read the ARRB notes and interview of L. FLetcher Prouty, he didn't even put up a fight! Pretty much contradicted everything he had ever said regarding the assassination. Amateur hour? Go do a little research and get back to me, here, I'll make real easy for you...allegation by allegation decimated. http://documents.theblackvault.com/documents/jfk/NARA-Oct2017/ARRB/CBARGER/WP-DOCS/PROUTY11.WPD.pdf Or if you like, keep your blinders on, believe a "movie", and go drop some hard earned money on the shill hyped "Papers of L. Fletcher Prouty" 🖕😂🖕
  11. As I stated on my show after seeing this presentation last November at CAPA, real researchers have known Veciana and his assertions were full of sh*t for many years. I wish someone of Newman's resources, research ability, and intellect would focus his attention on other aspects of the case, as they are clearly wasted debunking Veciana To hear it straight from Newman's mouth.... https://www.spreaker.com/user/7336374/john-newman-presentation-capa-2019
  12. I miss Peter Whitmey...he's not dead, just not active since the 90's..😪
  13. Jim Garrison made a lot of claims, not all had the evidence needed to back it up in court. Not sure about camera case but I know those are flip flops right in the middle of the picture None of her claims warrant anything...she is a myth maker, a tale weaver, a xxxx. She has been debunked on many levels, she has ZERO evidence to back up anything she says concerning Oswald...PERIOD I urge you to read Walt Brown's book that proves she has no idea what she's talking about... https://www.amazon.com/Judyth-Vary-Baker-Edited-Commentary-ebook/dp/B07RH9FXBG/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=walt+brown&qid=1600793608&s=digital-text&sr=1-1 Haslam has somewhat informed speculation at best. In the article it has links to the original investigation done by NOPD, which I would urge you to read as well. The book in question is nothing but a rewritten speculative piece inserting JVB, Oswald, and Ferrie into the many holes of his original book "Mary, Ferrie, and The Monkey Virus"
  14. Sounds like we got a J.V. Believer here! Anyone with access to the WC exhibits in the last 55 years could have known Oswald had flip flops. (see photo below) Prove anything you wrote in the last 2 posts pertaining to JVB's assertions, as being in any way factually correct.. Lots of speculation without documentation and straight up storytelling going on here. Any proof/documents Reilly Coffee was a CIA front? Dr. Mary's Monkey is a fictional novel, based almost entirely on speculation (Haslam's part) and lies (Baker's part) I agree with DiEugenio that there wasn't a linear particle accelerator in New Orleans either. Evidence shows she was stabbed and burned...horrific yes, sinister...no. 15. The only slight problem I see with your theory is this package fitting inside the package Frazier said he saw....
  16. Greg, I dig the theory...this package has always been a head scratcher. In my show with Steve Roe he theorized the address could have been meant to be Neches St. which is in Oak Cliff, not too far from the rooming house on Beckley. And Oswald with his sometimes horrible spelling just botched it. Maybe that location was some sort of "safe house". The double mailing of the package though doesn't jive because the package only has one postmark. The envelope does appear to have been reused though...you can faintly see other writing under the bottom part of the label. The postmark date is unreadable unfortunately.
  17. This is from the Richard Gilbride transcripts of tapes 3 and 4 that he had posted at the old ROKC forum many years ago. I interviewed him on my show about his HSCA transcripts. He used some kind of software like Dragon Speech, and if things looked screwy, he would go back and try to transcribe the noisier parts by ear as best he could. It's pretty damning for sure and also a reason to lie about it...I mean he blatantly says I didn't want to get dragged into it. And even if Oswald did bring a rifle to work that day, it doesn't mean he was on the 6th floor shooting it. At that point, the rifle was ordered under the name of A.J. Hidell...Castro sympathizer. Oswald may have been told to plant the gun in the building, and maybe he had been told they were going to shoot at and scare Kennedy into action against Cuba. The rifle would be found, traced to a fictitious person, and the trail ends?? At least that's what Oswald may have been told or thought. Frazier was a hunter and rifle owner...as one, you know damn well what a rifle in a soft case looks like...a rifle in a hard shell case...or a rifle in a paper case looks like for that matter. From the HSCA testimony of his co-workers at the TSBD, I'm convinced Frazier dropped Oswald off at the TSBD that morning before parking at the State building lot blocks away and he lied about it for obvious self preservation reasons. He realizes on the steps what possibly happened...goes to the basement to "eat lunch" or calm himself down and try to figure out what to do...can't, leaves work and goes directly to his stepdad's bedside at the Irving Medical Clinic I think, to seek advice. He was there for 2 and a half hours before Rose and Stoveall tracked him down and picked him up. By then he had a story and a plan, which he's clung to all these years.
  18. I suspect this is one of the reasons it was deep sixed...from the transcript of tapes 3 and 4... Probably "hid" was meant to be "had" IMO
  19. This is James Wagenvoord in the middle of myself and Doug in 2014...an editor at Life magazine in 1963. We met again last year at the CAPA conference, he was kind enough to eat dinner at our table, and is currently writing an autobiography. Lots of very cool stories, but one thing he has said is that Life magazine DID in fact retouch many aspects of the backyard photo, including the rifle to make it clearer and appear of a better quality. He said this was done with just about every photo used on a cover. Whether or not a scope was added, I can't speak to, and he doesn't know that either. He also had "accidentally taken home" a copy of Life's copy of the original Zapruder film in 1964. He had it in his possession until his home was burglarized in the mid 70's. He had been talking to Geraldo's people about it, thinks his phone had been tapped. No signs of forced entry, and the Z film was the only thing missing...professional job by someone. I know you mentioned the clothes were not in the inventory...how bout those fancy leather Wing-Tips?
  20. Has anyone shown former TSBD employee Roy Lewis the Prayer Man image to get his thoughts? He is still alive and living around Dallas. Larry Rivera talked to him a few years ago, but he was trying to convince him that Oswald was Lovelady in the Altgens 6 (utter nonsense IMO) But he could provide some insight into that whole doorway scene. Getting him and Frazier together this November to go over it together could provide interesting results...hint hint for those organizing conferences in Dallas!
