The raid on the former President is blatant interference into the midterms but since it's not Trump asking for Hunter Biden to be investigated and your bias you don't care. It's funny how much bad stuff is going on under Biden but since it's not Orange Man you  don't seem to mind. I find that very telling..

Matthew, how is it interfering with the “midterms”?  What is orange Jesus running for in 2022?  I find that very telling on your part, with little to no inference needed.

  2. Joe, I am so sorry to hear of your recent severe health problems.  I hope you have good doctors, consistent improvement and no further complications.  Best wishes and I hope we continue to hear from you.  As a side note, at nearly 67 and overweight by at least 25 lbs, I am in your same boat to some degree.  While I am now retired (USPS), which helped alleviate stress substantially,  I have finally learned to not hold things in and to accept the many things I cannot change and that has also helped.  I now try my best to live by a rule I should have followed years ago:  Luke 12:25 (NIV)  Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to your life[a]? 26 Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?

My best wishes for prolonged good health and happiness to you.

  3. I will add my speculation to the above possibilities.  I think the one thing that really pulled all the pieces together was the back channel and presumably verifiable talk of taking LBJ off the ticket for 1964.  LBJ was pushed into a corner just as Trump is now.  The one big difference is that LBJ had a way of having opponents "removed" when they got in his way, whereas Trump (as far as we currently know) tends to stall, litigate and bluster.  LBJ was facing being removed from the White House (his lifelong dream of being President), being prosecuted for his ties to various possibly criminal acts which would remove him from any chance to ever be President and possible jail time.  He, as everyone around him knew, was quite prescient about politics and power.  He also was quite ruthless and willing to do whatever it took to have power and retain power.  I think all the many people suggested have some of the means and opportunities to start the process, but without the "cover" of someone in the absolute highest power seat, things could go horribly wrong and heads would roll (possibly literally).  LBJ filled this bill exactly, so I think when he started back channel chatter among the proper people about something happening to the President, I think the fuse was lit and there was no going back.  The fact that the assassination happened the very same day that LBJ was subject of discussion at the Capitol shows to me that this was the last possible chance for his and the cabal's success.  The fact that the assassination happened in Texas, which LBJ could completely control also adds to the scenario.  When you are talking about the planned murder of the President, this is the only absolutely foolproof way of all the participants getting what they wanted without risk of reprisal/retribution/punishment.  Exactly how the scenario played out is not provable, but without LBJ either starting the plan or actively participating, it would not have worked without consequences for some or all the parties, PERIOD.

None of this makes Trump a nice guy. He appears to be a bombastic boor. So be it. He may be the least of our worries.

Benjamin, you really need to watch and listen to the hearings.  Just about all the points you made to show how it is like the Warren Commission, the committee members have stated at one point of the televised hearings.  They have repeatedly said that they are presenting facts to the American citizens in order that they may make informed decisions and are NOT a prosecutorial body and do not bring charges to be judged in court.  Trump is not the least of our worries, he is the causative agent just as was A. H. in Germany.  Just as in Germany, the only solution will be to remove from him the ability to incite and inflame.  I will also note that you said "our worries".  Your worries are minor (in my opinion) to those of us who may be having to take to the streets and quell the insurrection that he continues to foment.  I do pray that our worries will be no worse than yours and that the legal system doesn't fail us, and by that, I mean that he is prosecuted, found guilty and given an appropriate sentence for the crimes he has and is committing.  Though I cannot think of one, other than death, which would be severe enough.  Thousands whom he enticed and seduced to try to achieve his goals have been fined, lost their livelihood, or been imprisoned and yet he has a tee time every day and doesn't ever think of a single one of them.  Just like in his speech FOR J. D. Vance a night or so ago when he said out loud for the audience to hear, "J. D.'s kissing my A$$, he wants my support..."

Great! We just won't have elections in the United States anymore. Everybody will be appointed.

'Course that raises the question of whosa goin to be doin the appointin.

If we were to run things in the way Trump and his devotees prefer things to go, President Biden should either appoint or direct that his delegated authorities do the "appointin", since as Al Haig famously said, "I'm in control here (the White House)".  In like manner to DeSantis, anyone who was ELECTED to office, but does not follow the proper lead, should be removed from office (on TRUMPED UP charges) and then proper subservient replacements placed in those seats.

Oh wait, that can't be done now, we have to wait on Trumpublicans to be in charge because only they can glibly ignore laws, rules, norms and precedents in order to Save America for from democracy.

  6. On Thursday, he former president (Trump) said an indictment wouldn’t stop him from running for the White House again and repeatedly said Americans “would not stand” for his prosecution.

The DOJ needs to arrest, incarcerate and prosecute without fear or favor.

If they do not, this country is becoming a banana republic thanks to all "Trump's Banana Republicans" who can't wait to harass, intimidate and persecute in the name of their demigod.

Talk about nittering nabobs of negativism, their fearless leader can't even read if it is more than 280 characters long and even then, cannot comprehend what was written unless it is glowing words of fealty.

Sorry, off the soapbox, just one of those days, had to get it off my conscious.  I feel better now.

  7. Could someone please point me to the Mentesana film showing the rifle being handled?  I have, since the advent of this topic and also years prior watched what purported to be this film and have yet to see anything other than a group of people assembled around a police officer who is holding a gun (rifle/shotgun), not very visible or discernible.  I have yet to see it being brought down or being handled on the ground.  Did I miss something?  I have searched for both the Mentesana and DCA videos without finding anything other than the group picture with the officer behind the assembled mass of persons and only the upper barrel portion of the gun showing (very inconclusive).

Both Lee's and Marina's names were on the mailbox.

Two quick notes on this testimony.

    1.  Finding the names on a mailbox does not confirm that someone by that name is living there, only actually seeing them there physically would do that.

1a.  I would note that some people who wanted to ensure their mail was delivered correctly do either mark their names inside their mailboxes or even on the outside.  Those who mark the outside of the box generally do so only when planning to be at the address for an extended period of time.

    2.  From my time in the post office - some meticulous mail carriers would put note cards inside of boxes in areas where there was a lot of turnover such as transient/rental properties.  They would do this in order that they and especially their substitute carriers would know which mail to deliver.  Carriers, in general always hated coming back the day after their sub had run the route to find large amounts of mail awaiting their disposal because it was misdelivered or not delivered the day before.  These names would not have been on the outside of the box however.  I would also note that some carriers actually kept a log of customer names/orders (forwards/Moved Left No Address, etc.) for transient/rental properties.

One last note:  A person can have mail delivered to both a street address and a PO Box by simply not doing a forward order and telling the specific people they are corresponding with to send mail to whichever address they (the recipient) want it to arrive.

[DVP Note --- I haven't heard anything further from Ms. McClelland since the above 2021 e-mail exchange.]

I don't think you will either.  Some people don't have the time and won't expend the energy to try and move a "rock".  A rock does not absorb anything, it reflects/deflects continuously.  I can only assume, but if it were me, I see your answers and talking past the questions and regurgitating the same old stale story line.

I believe that is his arm moving downward, if that is what your referencing.

Thanks, Chris.  I can see it today.  I think I watched it so much my eyes crossed and when I tried to slow it down for clarity, I lost focus on the preceding frames with his arm up holding the rifle.  Sorry to have bothered everyone with this mistake.

  11. In the linked video, I saw something I had not noticed before.  My comment in another posting (Alyea) was either not seen by other members or just went unanswered.  I asked if the object seen at 7:28 into the video was the bag supposedly used to bring the rifle into the TSBD.  It is a fleeting view of something falling from the top of the surrounding boxes while the rifle is being examined just after it has been found.

  12. I was watching the Alyea film on YouTube, I think from DVP's channel.  As I was watching it I saw something I had not seen before.  At approximately 8:28 into the film, as they are examining/showing the rifle, something (a long bag?) falls from the boxes on the right of the screen to the floor.  It is very quick, but looks like the long paper bag in evidence later.  If others could look at this and offer their opinions, I would appreciate it.  I have seen things in some of the other old grainy films that turned out to be misperceptions.  Link below.

LHO usually wrote an unexisting address on the section 3 for his Postbox-applications (checked the instructions "all but special delivery" and further he would mention a fake address.

Again, I cannot speak to the rules/regulations of 1963, since I worked for the renamed/revamped USPS some 24 years later, but during my tenure you had to have two forms of ID in order to prove your physical address in order to rent a PO box.  If using a fake address, he (LHO) would have had to produce fake ID's as well.  I realize he could probably do this, but it adds another wrinkle and deviates from the Ocam's Razor theory or KISS (keep it simple stupid) principle.  It would have been simpler to use a real address and make fake rent and other documents to prove you lived there.  In the post office there is always the chance you will be caught up by someone who has a good memory and knows all the local streets.

I see three anomalies (to me at least) in your posted photos (with the linking red lines).

Make that four anomalies.  Would a right handed shooter not have the sling mounted on the left?  I know nothing about guns, but seem to recall in some of the movies or possibly documentaries showing "snipers" , they would wrap the sling around their left arm for support while aiming.

The first four are all Mausers. They have that V-shape whereas Carcanno don't. The one laying on the floor does not have that V-shape.

Denis, the rifle "confusion" has always interested me.  I see three anomalies (to me at least) in your posted photos (with the linking red lines).  First, the rifle is pictured from the right side (bolt side).  I do not see the front and rear sling mounts on the upper (labeled JFK).  From the way Day is carrying it in the lower picture, they should be evident.  Second, in an earlier post (above from Henry Frost), showing the CE 139/FBI 14 tag, the sling is shown on the left side of the rifle.  Third, the scope on the rifle (at bottom being carried by JC Day) seems to show a round adjustment screw on the right side under the top adjustment.  Am I missing something?

No, there is no scientific evidence that any of the WTC towers were brought down with controlled explosions. This fiction has been destroyed, utterly destroyed.

Not that W. needs any help on this, but you can add me to the list of people who DON"T believe your proof.  I have watched/read quite a few of the articles and associated investigatory books, etc.  The two links listed in W's response are well documented and presented.  Anyone who can clear their mind of all the clutter and "facts" as posited by the M$M can learn quite a lot pretty quickly.  There are admittedly a lot of kooks who present wild ideas (conspiracies), but if you are truly devoted to finding truth in all matters, you must learn to separate the wheat from the chaff.

I strongly doubt that JFK would have stood back and done nothing to prevent South Vietnam from falling to communist tyranny. I don't think the record supports that view at all. I think the record shows that although JFK may have eventually withdrawn all of our advisers, he would have done so based on the situation on the ground, and he would have continued to provide South Vietnam with weapons and logistics, and quite possibly with close air support from Navy carriers.

I will not argue with your opinion since we all have one and are entitled to it.  My only comment is that this is the same reasoning that led the CIA/military/etc. to completely misread JFK on Cuba/the Bay of Pigs.  He stood firm and did not flinch when he knew the operation was going to be a debacle.  I think he had already reached this conclusion on Viet Nam.  As he had already said, the war in Viet Nam could only be won by South Vietnamese themselves.  If they did not have the commitment required to win their own freedom, no amount of aid could supply that.  It was their war to win or lose, not America's (the US).

There is also something strange about the postmark, looks like it was marked on a see-through tape, you can see the edges.

Back in 1963, and even when I first started working with the post office (1987), we had a cancellation machine (a flyer, I think some called it) that would feed envelopes through the rotating cancellation mark.  This cancellation would look like your lower picture.  The information other than the city and state had replaceable numbers/letters which would allow the month/date/year and time (if that option was necessary) to be changed before running the letters through.  For larger packages, even when I started, there was no mechanized method for cancellation of packages or what we called "flats", large or oversized envelopes.  The cancellation of such items was done with a hand stamp and an ink pad.  This stamp would have been rectangular with the cancellation stripes to invalidate the stamp from later usage and would have had the characters within the smaller circle as changeable type, again to be changed reflecting the day and possibly the time of use.  Because the rubber cancellation stamp was set up (month/date/year) then stamped on an ink pad, then on the mail piece, it would many times leave an ink image of the outer edges which may be what you are seeing as being a tape edge.  These types of envelopes were notoriously difficult to get a good clear stamp applied.
